Oh, almost forgot. Throw the points that are left in your clerics benediction. Then, if there is anything you cant dispell(like -50% damage debuff enenies sometimes give you), just leave 1 low dps monster alive and heal the debuffed party member until you get Benediction:)

I cant speak for the main campain, but for survival, getting a lvl 40 with a conjurer, warrior, ranger and a cleric is a piece of cake.
Warrir should have the best armour with as much health regen you can have and cleave.
Cleric should have heavy armour with 25+(including his base) mana regen, mass heal, regular heal, purify and revive.
Ranger should have the normal medium armours with a possible mana/health regen, but anything goes. He should also have Hail of arrows, pin and natures balm.
Conjurer should have mana regen stuff with Wargolem, Refresh energies, Call soul and Eldritch Aeigis.
At the beggining leave 1 monster alive(and heal ofcourse) and buff your party. Summon 2 war golems, put on Eldritch Aeigis, Nature Balm everyone and You are ready to go.
Its easy as hell. Just place your warrior in the middle in the 1st row, and everyone other in 2nd row. Dont forget to heal golems, although party's health goes first^_^
Piece of cake.

My team is Warrior,Cleric,Mage,Rogue it works great when i battle boss you gotta have "Sap Strenth" so they cant use their skills on you

Bah ... got to level 28 easily, when suddenly all creatures focused my conjurer, who's the savior of all, plus my only resurector :(. when he got killed on one blow the game was over. i'd easily get to 40 with a bit of luck, which means conjurer never gets killed in one blow.
PS. There are 3 different campaigns, to get the last badge you need the "defend your base" campaign, not the dungeon campaigns.

The loop music when you fight the dungeon masters (wink). What is it?
@ 1 sezeku 1= "Mundane becomes extraordinary"- When you use this shrine, a NONMAGICAL item in your inventory will turn into a unique item (purple). DOn't use damaged items, just use normal nonmagic items (represented with the white outline).

the game end when you die, thats all ^^ So if you get to wave 41, then you can "suicide yourself" and get the badge^^

guys there are usually 10 levels before you get to the boss. then you get to go through an endless dungeon. and on the new campaign, you have to get 9 journey men stones. then you get to fight the boss.

How many levels does one have to slog through? It's a nice game but does get a bit boring after a while...it's all the same.

last boss is depressingly easy when:
conjurer -> banish... it kills the "yous" and everyone else focuses on big man
but what does the "mundane becomes extrordinary" do?

On standad mode i made the game on first attempt, not really trying my best on strategy etc. The game got boring very, very fast, since I never died once and i only had to flee a few times. As long as you kill alll enemies on the map and visit the shop every level, then your gear is easily good enough to win every fight.

moskaubear - Thanks for the info. I probably wasn't equipped well since I had the best equipment you can buy but couldn't beat any of the bosses on each floor. Partly because of the difficulty level and partly because I was still noob then :P I agree the last boss wasn't too hard, but when you only get 1 or 2 attempts at it you have to hope you got the strategy right.

simUK: if there haven't been any legend creatures for you to fight, then try and nab a lure and pray for a gorgon or minotaur, their drops are the best, and hopefully will help you plaster the final boss with no problem. He actually died before any of my shadows since I had managed to buy two. He is actually easy, but you MUST be faster than him and act first, then your ranger/spellcaster can nip at the rest of his health while you fend off your clones

Finally closing in on the final badge...oh by the way, REMEMBER TO MAKE AT LEAST ONE ROGUE
There is a legendary dagger you can get around ~20 called the Pestilence Blade that is utterly and completely BROKEN. 300 damage + 300 poison. With maxed poisoncraft AND using the poison ability? My rogue does 1278 poison damage per hit. Mutilates legendary creatures like crazy.
If everyone else on the team dies, then he can just hide until the beast dies.

Just finished playing through the first quest on extreme and I have mixed opinions. It's a nice concept for a game, but it drags on so much since the only difference between levels are the enemies. The interface is very cumbersome too; buying and selling equipment is a nightmare. The battle system is nice though and adds a lot of strategy. My biggest complaint is being able to get stuck. Losing a battle really damages your characters and having no way to go back to buy more equipment and items makes it a whole lot worse. The last floor, especially the last boss, was extremely nerve wracking - I retreated once and spent all my gold and items for a second try, if I couldn't win then it's game over. This game has less strategy compared to other roguelikes, which is fine, but it also means dying isn't so much your fault. If you get unlucky on the last boss you've just wasted 6 hours - that really really sucks!

Found a good team, starts off rough but gets really insane with damage reflect.
Barbarian, ranger, rogue, cleric. rogue uses hide, barbarian uses intimidate, cleric uses shield of faith. Ultra tanker. Ranger hangs out in back hailing arrows, poisoning, or pinning. Makes all bosses a cakewalk, prioritize on killing spellcasters or ranged attackers to keep the ranger safe until he's got vitality up there.

The main campaign thing has 9 levels, and I just beat them :D
Be careful though. My badass guys could take on the world with their 200% damage reflection and uber damage, but it sure is annoying when you have to fight yourself in the final battle. :( At least now I finally have the badge and quest :D
