...or play the easy mode, there is no penalty when the whole party is defeated, but thats not very challenging IMO.
@shankaranger: lvl 90??? What difficulty are you playing? How much time have you spent playing? o_O

@marshallstaxx: When you realize that you`re going to lose a battle, try to retreat. One char who manages to escape is enough to prevent the take away of items. The prefix "discretion" on an item makes it possible to retreat instantly (if item is equipped)

I have no teleport scrolls, so can't go to the shop to buy new weapons / armour, as I just sold all my inventory before this battle. The autosave on this game, combined with the nasty random item-trashing means I just wasted 3 hours of my worthless life.

Lost a battle on Lvl 9 and the game took away four equipped purple items. This game is almost as damn sadistic as Rogue.

for me the best game eva on da Kongregate. Really! And music in "orginal campagning" for me is so atmosphere-making like music from Shadow of The Beast Tim Wright`s. Maby SoTB is beter but when I playing in "Monster`s Den" i really "see" in my mind some kind of old trees and I feel like when I read LoTR Tolkien. 6/5 for music thing.

good game but not sure how long it goes on for. im at floor 51 and it just seems to keep going. 5/5 on this game but needs a final boss, unless im just not there

the first campaign is lvl 10... the last enemy is the demon lord.. but remember that u must have a good all-enemy-damage ability... or the weakness of the demon lord are range weapons cause he will only reanimate your characters if they die.. :)

sorry bout that, but i looked back to affirm that i spammed, and saw a few lists by mrwaterbuffalo, point being, on occassion, everyone gets on a roll or 2, every once in awhile

@mrwaterbuffalo - 4 Rouges is an awesome party for just that reason. The first level w/all Rouges is tough, but after everyone gets Hide, it's smooth sailing.

and hes a ranger with speed 90, so he always goes first, soemtimes a hail of arrows kills all 6 enemy right off) hehehe

so, i keep seeing people talk about how much dmg their "so and so" does, but what level is the guy? i mean a level 100 should hit for 10k when the mobs have 100k life, yaknow? whats the ratio? like my guy here has 60% lethality, at level 30

its difficult to level up 4 mages through the first 6-10 levels, they die alot, potions help, but when they get to 10ish and up, its kinda funny to kill the entire enemy party on the first rnd=) everytime

all u have 2 do 2 beat the Corrupter without him even attacking is pin him every time with your ranger and let every1 else finish him off

There should definitely be set armor. And my part is Warrior, barb, barb, mage. As long as you have a few potions to heal up after battle, you can deal massive amounts of damage pretty fast. And since you're healing after battle, you're not relying on a healer.
