@serkzerk
"A gift of Magic" gives you a power orb, and "Mundane becomes Extraordinary" gives you a shield. At least that's what I got. Not sure about the "temporary becomes permanent" one, though.

there needs to be a "are you sure you want to leave?" thing in the storr when u hit return. i was trying to press sell item and i hit return. tht was the only portal scroll i got in the first 5 floors!

Super Spelunking
Dude! You just completed the Super Spelunking achievement in Monsters' Den: Book of Dread and won the Super Spelunking badge and 30 points!
Woot! Took long enough, 2xcleric, mage and a ranger is unstoppable!!

rogues actually get more than just the 3 to all stats and the 3 assigned stats...at max skill pts they get an extra 1 dmg per stat in str/dex that stacks(talking about the poison talent thingy), but i dont think they need to be toned down however they are the best single target dmg in the game. the mage/ranger and aoe the warrior/barb can cleave/aoe(or something close to it) the only thing i think that needs to be twiked is the conjor he has 4 melee summons (2 of which are support) and 0 ranged summons and i dont see a reason to pick him up when i can pick up a ranger/mage (ranger can off heal and the mage can simply do more dmg and has cc to boot!)

This is a good game, but if you just want some badge points, it is definately NOT worth it. This takes time!
Play for the game, not for the badge.

@Kazuth How is my reasoning flawed? Excluding new weapons, all other characters earn 3 to each stat per level plus 3 that the player assigns, thus a max of 6 in their attack stat. (12 bonus damage) Rogues earn the same stat bonuses, but since they get boosted from str and dex, they get a max of 9 in their attack stats. (18 bonus damage) What you may be missing is about the "each stat" part. I'm not sure if you noticed, but every level you get 3 to each stat and that is before you put your bonus points in. Watch your stats as you go down a floor, they change without you changing them.

For Survival, Warrior+Ranger+Cleric+Summoner makes it easy.
Mass armor for warrior, power regeneration for cleric/summoner and dex for ranger. I just used all the buffs (20% damage, hp regen, +15% damage reduction, and swiftness) and kept my party healed and i never had any problems

The impossible badge for the other one was way easier.

Currently on wave 55 of survival(doing it over the course of days)
Lineup is:
War golem/warrior/war golem
conjuror/cleric/ranger
All the long term buffs are up.
It's working rather well and i expect to make it to 100+ wave.
Anyone think of anything better to use?

Made it up to wave 17 on the 1st try. Lessons learned, use regen equipment & the whole thing is one long battle, so battle-long-duration-buffs last forever. :p

Argh! I'm on level 29 and I haven't faced a single golden enemy. I know they're not exactly common, but I want to fight them!

Kazuth, do you know nothing of mythology? When you cut off a hydras head, 2 more spawn in its place. You have to kill the body to kill the hydra. Does that help ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
lol, found myself a hydra, and in notime it had 5 heads = me toast in notime.
How should i be able to battle this ??
Top of my head, only thief has power drain ability i think (sap), that could keep up up with respawn of heads ?
Am i overlooking a tactic here ?
Overal, im happy these kinda creatures are around, so you can still die to some nasty stuff after going up so many levels.

Really needs kind of New Game Plus feature! The like: Play the 1st campaing and the 2nd one with same doods to get level and gear (ofc like max 20lvl) and THEN enter Survival without buying or selling gear allso you could make the 2nd campaing harder to get score with the old group and get the 50k points and your survival wouldn´t be based onluck what kind of gear you can afford to buy to doods you selected...

Kazuth: You should be able to just double click them creating the stone, then double click the stone to go to the Dread Father.

Rogues get 2 extra points of damage for every str AND dex. Since all characters get 3 points to every stat each level, rogues deal lots more damage than any other character later in the game.
This reasoning is flawed :)
3 statpoints is still max 6 damage extra for any character class for each level they achieve.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, rogues need to be toned down a little. They have the hide double damage which can be exploited well if you have four that move at close to the same speed. They also have the more powerful ability to use their dexterity and their strength for weapons. All others get 2 extra points of damage for every str, dex, or int. Rogues get 2 extra points of damage for every str AND dex. Since all characters get 3 points to every stat each level, rogues deal lots more damage than any other character later in the game. Combine that with the hide tactic and you can usually one-hit enemies on the hardest setting.

Get another Ring of Boundless Energy. You have to learn not to give your stuff things like +whatever. +Armor and +Recup or any of the magical +s are the only ones you need. I'm going to hit level 300 soon :D

A way to remove enchantments and replace them with a better one would be nice. I have a ring from level 4 that gives me 100% regeneration after a battle, and some power regen durring battle. I foolishly enchanted it for +2 strength. Now at level 133 it is useless except for the end of battle regen. A way to re enchant it would be very helpful.
