My team for wave 40:
1 warrior: tank with shield. Inspire, shield wall, the one with stun immunity, defience and resolve. Reason: this isn't a damage dealer, just a piece of solid metal.
cleric: purify for poison resist, heal, mass heal. Just a plain healer.
Ranger: regeneration, pin(for nasty debuffer like shamans and hex), quickness. And attack skills, damage dealer.
Mage: living flame, or what it is called. 100% reflection and personal dmg red. buff. Other then that, damage dealer.
Tactic: Don't go for +skill gear in the first place. +x health and +x power is the key imo. With the ranger you can easily achieve +50-60 regeneration.
After a tough battle, leave 1 enemy alive and regenerate to prepare for the next fight. Rice and repeat for ... 40 waves.

Zezima, buffing yourself and remembering what's coming in the next wave (the waves are fixed) is key. I'd recommend a warrior (with inspire), a ranger (with swiftness and nature's balm) a summoner (with golem, manasprite and that thing that increases defense) plus one other party member.

I made an habit of only using a purple scroll once my inventory was completely full.right now, I'm sitting on 97 purple scrolls, and I always have one when I need it. not to mention I also have the badge that lets you go to the store without using a purple scroll.

@those complaining about purple scrolls: I once didn't find a single one until after level 20. Sometimes the RNG is just going to hate you, but eventually you'll have more than you need. Just play conservatively with them. I made a practice of only using one when I had an extra.

if you want to talk about endless, try survival with a warrior and 3 clerics, and buy out all the 'runed' equipment for lots of mana regen

"Protecting allies" skill for monsters should last longer. The dwarven lord dungeon boss does nothing but recast it over and over and it never even last long enough to affect my team at all. Other than that, fantastic game.

The game its endless, like that you can keep playing and kick asses.
This was a comentary from a guy who knows good strategys about monster den.
If you wish to know more strategy send me a message.
Thank you and have a good day^^.

Is anyone able to find a good use for the conjuror? I find this class slightly underpowered compared to the likes of mages and barbarians t use Int, so you can focus on combat abilities.

Cleric+Warrior on the Front Line, and Ranger and Conjurer in the Back Line. Cleric Heals everyone whenever he cans, Warrior and Ranger are who does most the attack, and the Conjurer keeps Spamming Manasprites on the Empty Squares, and using Manafont with them, and this will keep the Cleric's mana almost always full. The Knight MUST HAVE execute, for higher level monster, and the ranger is best with a "... of Lethality" weapon, and with Hail of Arrows. That's how I reached Wave 48 on survival. Ohh, I just hate that front line full of dwarf veterans spamming hammer smash, that's how it first killed both my manasprites, than the conjurer, and then the cleric with the crossbowman combo. After that the Ranger and the Warrior were just... Doomed heroes.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: 2 barbarians + conjurer + cleric = pretty much complete invincibility.
Obviously other people have found combinations that work for them, but this one is tops in my book!

on survival mode those dwarf veterans that spam hammer smash are the worst.. just ALWAYS make sure your party's at full hp before you go to the next round

Hmm, I've been using Conjurer, Cleric (tank), Rogue, Ranger instead. Rogue has definitely been kickass for taking one monster down in one round with surprise attack + poisoncraft, and if it's a boss, it's always been the best at stacking poisons for me. Nothing better than seeing a boss die to 10k poison dmg at the end. I'll have to try szymonville's combo instead next time though.

It would be awesome if it was possible to get a consecrated spear (my cleric is always at the back, being the only one with heals and resurrect.

@Jamesjiao not true. I ALWAYS make sure to have a conjuror in my party because they are the ONLY class which can KO the Aetherguard (with banish). Also, when fighting the corruptor in the first normal campaign, you can get rid of his summonings using the Conjuror. Furthermore, having a manasprite in the back ranks is infinitely useful.

not being able to move your formation at the cost of a turn is game breaking when you fight something that puts your melee in the back.
