Survival isn't really that hard, you just got to get classes that buff everybody in the team because survival is a never ending battle and it would make you really powerful.

Dear sysy , I killed the Corrupter before He can clone my party .... And what do you need the recall scroll for ... Just go down a couple of floors and you can see another .Corrupter ... Your idea of recall scroll will just spoil the fun

thanks albaka, i beat the dread father, who i think was way too darn easy. i killed him and his fearsowers in 2 turns

Two barbs, cleric and mage. I so completely owned the corrupter that my clones only got one shot off before I killed them all including the corrupter, which I had down to 1-hit health before he summoned. Somehow I managed to stun him.. that seems like a bug to me.
Cleric is frontline with barbs, and uses anoint on an axe barb. Other barb uses a gorgon head offhand. All my units have great speed and health/mana regen.
Mage just does lightning or targets a unit when bored. Cosmic prism is handy, but boring.
Beating the game should give you a recall scroll. =/
I still hate that it's so annoying to see your units abilities when in the store, and it's annoying to sell equipped stuff. It should be an easy fix to allow selling right off the equipped unit on the left.
Also, comparing should be possible.. so I can compare with equipped much more easily. It's only available when first looting but nowhere else, which is strange.

This's so far my best formation: Ranger(+HailOrArrows,Focus,Swiftness,nCreatureLore), Cleric(+HolyLight,Purify,HealAll,nBenediction), Rogue(+CreatOpening,FlashPowder,ThiefLuck,nPoisonCraft), Conjuror (+WarGolem,CastSoul, EldritchAegis,nAugmentHealth). Preserve original 2 spells, add 3. Buy items to boost Accuracy of Ranger, ensure high stun resistance for Cleric and Conjuror. Summon 2 WarGolems into 2 empty squares. Cast all boosts, use Cleric to heal, Conjuror to revive. With this u can win infinite waves on survival mode.

You need 9 stone fragments, then "activate" them, same like you would use a potion. Then they will disappear and you get another stone instead. Using that will bring you to Dreadfather... Stupidly you cant beat him as easyly as the original boss (with stuns XD)

Amner: because that's not logic. replenishing health is not equal to gaining health through endurance.
Also if that existed, your character would in truth be nigh impossible to kill. There are already ways to do that. But a character with 10X10^e hp is more of an abuse rather than a strategy.

Lol, this is basically my version of "Just Chatting" :D Oh, and if you don't have the profiteer achievement, make sure you have the money to buy something that won't send you under 10k, and buy it. Achievement get.

um... i worked my butt off for 5 hours and when i finally beat lvl 40 on surival, NO ACHIEVEMENT. this is just great...

Bart, the reason it getting easier is because you can learn passive ability, your character combat lvl is getting higher, but after lvl 50, where you stop getting skill upgrade, well, it become just like 1 lvl for a while. Enjoy it :) And the item you get and equip is more complete, more orange item, like robe of afflication. But, well, still can lose though. Full hp and power face a human boss party at over lvl 200, that melee boss void cannon, double kill...

i have a warrior and tree rangers, they keep backuping my warrior and even if him dies, they have good health regeneration so the party still wins, im level 14 already :D its a very good game lol

@ Entlee - what you describe is not 'keeping up' but 'catching up' - I only played up to lvl 50, then the freak accident occurred and my team got killed (I could have fled, but I wanted to see if I could make it ;P). So I don't know about lvls 100+, but between 15 and 50 my team was never in any real danger (I play the 281% version). So if you want to keep it really hard, reduce the insta-kill-percentages.

Made it to wave 116 (beat 115, died on 116) on survival. I used a cleric, ranger, warrior, and conjurer. I was doing pretty well until the point where the dwarf crossbows could kill my war golem with a single shot. Defense is king!
