A good team is 3 warriors in front and a cleric at the back. The warriors with just cleave as their skill and leadership for the rest. Balanced endurance and strength for the warriors. With Vampire equips and a mana regen item for the Warriors. Mana regen items for the cleric. After defeating all the enemies except one, just press pass until the chars have regen most of their mp. No need for potions, temple and retreat to upper level anymore.

Only thing good about the conjurer is the wargolem since it regenerates hp/mana and has that immunity shield (which is a real underrated skill). The wargolem seems to be the priority target so a lot of monsters try to slap it while its immune.
The conjurer's revive and its shield of eldrich or whatever are also semi-useful, but most of the other things it can do are useless... a manasprite doesn't regain mana itself, come on!

This game is great, one of the best I have played on Kongregate. =) Totally deserves a 5/5, and I don't just give them away either. =P

and last book... maybe hehe.
Portal scrolls seem a bit uh.. ad hock. How about removing the things altogether and placing shops onto the map like a quest givers are. This would remove the need for portal scrolls, make it less "need a shop now"able but can return a few times while on the level. Have the same rate of every other level, sometimes in between. For Difficulty, can add a shops are rarer as well as no shops at all.

I'm using a conjurer no problem, and rogues aren't useless. I'm using a rogue only as front line, with occasional golem and with high regen he dies barely more often than any others, and the conjurer can revive them anyway.

Conjurers need help. Their summons do not level well and nothing a summoner can do stat wise seems to help them out it appears. Also, since they need to summon a new critter every battle, they are a half skilled class on trash monsters since it's the first round that matters most. Honestly should make the golem(tank) or wolf(dps - maybe call it something a little more impressive?) summons persistent and tie their skills to the level of int the conj has. Where as one golem or wolf can be up, make the sprites available as well though poofing after the fight.
Dps pet btw would need some sort of "don;t hit me!!!!!!) skill or else it's just a second class barb/rogue with the same basic liabilities.

In terms of min maxing one class above all others... Clerics. It's honestly one of the feasible meta teams to make an all cleric party, that's just how powerfully versatile they are. High Defense plate, single and group heals/cures, single and aoe nukes, decent melee, revive, aoe blind, self defense, and to top it all off, a dps buff which stacks!! Every single skill clerics get is directly useful, even their passive choices!
You want more than one Cleric in group just to get their skills in play; I wish I could say that about the other classes.
Rogues and barbs needs some form of ranged attack as until they are 25 points into passives, they are a liability in the front line.
Rangers and Mages are both amazing ranged dps and a perfect compliment to those clerics.
Warriors are a nice meatshield and all but honestly, rather have a cleric tanking what with their skill set.

Great update to a great game. Like the new difficulty flags as it really is ugly hard when you pile em on hehe.
A few thoughts:
The step up from normal to expert is a serious climb. I'd suggest an intermediate 'advanced' mode that's midway from standard to extreme. Plenty of challenge without the need for min maxing the party.

Oh and I also agree that the items you get for beating the Den of Terror are pretty useless.. at least the cloak is useful in the Den of Corruption... definitely needs to be more opportunities for shop trips.

Yeah, I tried playing with Conjurors... the problem is the creatures they summon don't increase in level really besides the base skill stuff.

To Jesto:I found out recently that i am able to skip boss to another floor, while i think that sucks deeply, that facct that i can boosts my rating up to 4,but there are other reasons why this game isnt perfect/

I like the idea behind Fall of Tellunos... except if one of my characters gets cursed, I'm screwed if I don't have a cleric. It'd also be nice to get a chance to return to the shop every 10 rounds or so to upgrade equipment and skills.

Love this game. Just like I loved the first one. Though I have to ask what's the point to having a store you can barely ever go to?

i found the worst glitch on the planet on this game,if u get killed by a monster boss and ur equpis are gone u are permanently stuck in-game losing forever again and again

Anyone else experiencing a bug with shopping? The shop shows up blank after somewhere between one and three purchases, with no warning, even when I have lots of money.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
hammish: the book of dread is kinda weak. i still have it equipped on my cleric just cuz it has 89 extra poison damage. bam13302 ive used that glitch too.

found another glitch
if one of your members dies, and you revive him before what would have been his next turn, he will not loose any of his (positive or negative) status effects

Great way better than the other one could use badges. BTW wheres the shop? on the story campaigns i only got there once using a scroll on second level.

1) Wonderfully enjoyable game with substantial replay value. New features are well made and implemented.
2) What kind of 'tard puts 'we-want-badges' as a tag for the game? Aren't tags supposed to be words or phrases that people can use to identify and find games? Do you think the site admins will base the decision to make badges on someone putting that in the game tags? C'mon kiddies, think a little bit.
