I use Ranger, Ranger, Cleric and Mage.
Ranger 1 - Equip with bow and use the poisoncraft skill.
Ranger 2 - Equip with dagger, use the Create Hole skill and the Poisoncraft skill.
The reason for the Mage is because of the undead (they are great on a wraith)

There is a way make at least 1 of ur char invincible, take 1 warrior, let him has defiance skill, and use ranger giv him nature balm, use defiance all the time, and make sure ur warrior has over 30 power regen, and has adreline too in case monster may stun you. Use dmg reflection to kill enemy. Use light armor if you like, the dmg return will be bigger.

RoarkSG, it is hard, i been there... and never past lvl 9... However, try ranger+mage+mage and 1 cleric in front. The aoe dmg can make the boss party hp down to about 1/4. Make ur cleric tank. And finish the remain with another electrical storm. However, this is failure to me(bad luck actually, 3 trolls in front...cant do anything)

Anybody have a good mixed-party solution for extreme/hardcore/attrition? I'd like to clear all the levels, but the boss parties kill just about every combo I come up with. Or is it just too much to overcome?

My rogue equip shroud of darkness, robe of afflication, so i can get more than 100% blind effect. If you want make gorgan hit less, equip enlightning hood.

There are a direct nerf to gorgan, that is that 2 potions which almost make gorgon not a threat... 1 is 100% poison resist, another is 20%dmg reduction+50% stun resist

Gorgon is the most powerful, followed by minotaur and finally the hydra. Hydras, when you have a rogue and a ranger or a mage, are very easy to kill. Minotaurs are just very powerful attackers, with a special ability what can be annoying but doesn't count too much, Gorgons have to be killed early.

Conjurors I didn't like so much. Dire Wolf and Wargolem are both a lot weaker than any of the people in your party, and bloodsprite and manasprite are too rarely needed. Call Soul is very good, though. But I think that a mage is better. And I think that Serpentine Band is a lot better than Ring of Boundless Energy (especially for a rogue, but it is lethal for any melee or bow user). I think that against all legendaries there is a good tactics, but I highly rely on my rogue when fighting against them (cripple is powerful, if you want to use your warrior's overwhelm on them, and poison helps to kill them, and against hydra, sneak attack poisons and kills very easily). If a rogue has the right equipment (Pestilence Blade, Mythic Shadow, Serpentine Band, Quicksilver Boots, Dreadfather's Visage, Demonhide Cloak - mine has all these items), then it becomes virtually invincible. His damage may be a lot higher than any, not mentioning their powerful poison attack.

Aargghh, just made it to wave 36 with 2 clerics, one conjurer, and one ranger. I would have gotten farther if they hadnt killed both my clerics in the same round.

I fought about 40 legendary monsters in a row in level 154. And I think ring of boundless energy is not the best. Serpentine band with many other useful mods diffidently is better. Also replenish % is still important. So I use Hydraskin Cloak instead. 50% seems enough. I also found many lazy way to play this game. like put freeze in first skill slot to versus legendary monsters or electrical storm to versus normal mobs. It is so effective that you just need left click spam, and fight will be over very soon. :P

How amazing are conjurors? They summon fighting guys, they summon guys who regenerate your resourses, they can ressurect, AND they can attack from the back row!!!

I just saw Hydra 21K HP with 10719 HP regain. (XD) plus many summon heads will be the killer to those melee fighter if they can't or hard to kill the hydra's body. When I was 4 warrior team and it became nightmare! A head after another head, endless head.

for me it is the gorgo then the hydra and then the mino.Also if garin can hear this could you weaken the gorgo (is paralyse power is too strong for it's cost)

Kiraice, my mage is using melee weapon...@ Frostguard, yes, so hydratooth, but warrior strongest skill without other ppl help is just power att(130% normal dmg)...althought you can just equip light armor... whatever, cleric is just more safe for me, since the dmg from cleric is enough to kill, he is last hitter. @ Kiraice, you should stop play like that... Any party can play like that, you can play like that on extreme mode get more rating... Watever, what is the point you still playing this game??? What you do is just skip all the fighting and go to next lvl. I felt you are insulting this game(nothing personnal, is just i think you should stop wasting ur time). Maybe garin should put a limit like at least 50% clear and kill the boss party, then the exit will appear.

I forget to say this. I don't try to use legendary lure either. Because fight legendary monster takes time which means reducing rush speed.

Now I still can kill any legendary monster. However, it is no longer as fast as 2 to 3 rounds. Their HP buffs a lot! However, their attack skill doesn't improve much. Arcane Armor prevents them do 1 hit kill trick. And blind effect makes them hard to hit. Finally leech overcomes the damage then it is still easy but takes time.

I am in level 114!! Rush does work! Sometimes I can pass a level less than 1 minute without any fights. Mage doesn't need anything extra once their equipments are rounded. the only thing that fades with levels is their melee weapons. If you have a team that highly dependent on items you can't reach deeper level very fast. I think that 4 mage team is the best rush choice. they depend on their INT much more than items.

I am trying to do super rush now. This is my plan: Avoid boss fight, and go to next level as fast as I can. Maybe people will think about how about items? But in fact, I already have items that I needed. So int increased every level is enough for me to kill all normal mobs through 4 times electrical storm. It seems interesting.

Ah, I understand now. However, once my warrior had some 90 % resistance to damage, but to me, not resistance but reflection is important. It is a lot funnier when your warrior has a reflection of 130 %, and you see, as the enemy attacks and kills himself. :)

Frostguard: Yes it is. But when mage uses Arcane Armor, it means 40% damage resist multiply 400%, how you think that? :)

@ Entlee: Well, why not use Ensorcelled Blade with melee weapon? Now my mage can perform damage output as strong as a rogue attack after hide. 4 times normal attack is just like 400% weapon damage, plus, with 25% spell mastery chance and high MP regain, I can do more times Ensorcelled Blade in less every 2 rounds. Also 10% accurate for monster is not their limits. Their limit is 7.5%. 25% Shields effect reduced their chance to hit. To kill gorgon is not really hard for me though.

Entlee, I use warrior with sword, and sometimes spear (only until I get retribution). And, there is no legendary mace, but is a legendary sword, Hydra's Tooth, what a warrior can have but a cleric can't - and my warrior has it all the time because I kill a legendary monster each level. So, damage output is a lot higher using a warrior than a cleric.
Kiarice: It says that 400 % of the NORMAL resistance, so if your resistance is 10 %, then with that it will be 40 % against humans.

To finish den of terror, get 9 fragments, 1 fragment each lvl, then click on it. Boss appear, defeat him, campaign end.

Kiraice, you can use rogue, and stack all blind effect item together. Rogue is the best, gorgan has 170% accuracy if i remember correctly, only rogue can reduce gorgan accuracy to 10%

Only way to beat gorgan with 4 mages... but in high lvl the gorgan take a long time to end, 10% accuracy not equal to 0% hit...

That is staff of destiny. 400% normal attack resist to human. Combine it with Arcane Armor will be very good. But I don't use it anymore since I have 3 mage which equips melee weapon and last one carries staff of magus. This staff is better because it helps to reduced target's accuracy 35%. and I have 133% blind in total. :)

I try to speed run a level with 4 mage team in level 26. Amazingly super fast! Although it is standard difficulty I still feel its IMBA power. Anyone knows that if we could post a link in the comment? I record it into a video.

Frostguard, i thought you say you no need heal? So no point is needed for intellect... If you want dmg, just play cleric like warrior, they can produce same dmg ouitput unless your warrior equip axe or spear. However, the dmg output rely on weapon and point you distribute, you can have same normal dmg with warrior if you play same way
