I did the survival mode too, and compared to 338 survival is a cake-walk. I got up to about level 41 without anyone dying before I couldnt stay awake anymore. That tactical in 338 makes it a real challenge.

Duck if you want to get the badge but make it a little eaiser on yourself do 228 instead of 338 (extreme, hardcore, attrition) When you get to level 10 youll have 50k, and itll be much much eaiser. Tactial is by far the hardest option in the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
YES, of course, less difficulty take you this badge much faster. As for me, I win at 338 only one campaign, Corruption one of probably 100 tries.

It is relatively easy, comparing to other levels :) And sometimes it's hard - I dead at it right now. But most of time I pass it with no problem. Did you ranger's balm on party members? It helps a lot aganist poison and protect back row members

IT'S FRUSTRATING.......T_T I was trying to get 50,000 point badge by 338%, but I'd rather give up....Members through hours just fly away in a second....

As your searching, your killing enemy parties, but your also choosing your battles. Finding weaker parties to start (so you can get equipment with minimal risk and minimal use of focus.) That was for my strategy, which is highly gear dependant and can mow through most things without focus at all. And for most of the different classes I can get high damage to work, bout the hardest thing to fight is the troll boss and the deep bosses, both have high hp and high damage, and even with a spear and dagger it takes awhile to kill either one.

Bar, how can lv1 be so easy? I did put Cl in the front row and he did wear a shield. But, you know, much of mobs have range attack or spell and kill my weak members in the back row.

Not dead though, just closed browser after tank dead. Now i got em escape and full restore. But there is another problem - 3 (THREE shamans). They can heal everything I attack.

Jaojin, there is one thing with this game. Very good thing and very bad thing. This game has too many different cases. Different mobs, different positions, different luck, different tactic. Sometimes your strategy wins, sometimes - not. In that case you die and game is over. So, the only good tactic which let you live - outlast. And I am going to improve it. Gonna try Wa (way better tank than cl), Cl (you need heal for party, especially when you lose one balm), Co (aegis is most important in defensive tactic) and only one Ra, to balm tank and self. Gonna try. Just dead with that party at 1st level though :) Mass stunning green boss did the thing. It happens.

great tip slipjee i done the first monsters den and i tried with ur strategy and it was surprising how quick i won (i only had 2 chars by the end the rest died

I just completed the game, best tactic for me is 2 mages, archer and cleric tank, only train endurance for cleric, train intellect for mages and dex for archer, then at level 2 get electrical storm, and hail of arrows, at bosses you will be able to kill all his lackeys at once :D

Jaojin, I must warn aganist searching dungeon first. Roaming gets your mana restored. Thats very important. So, don't roam at full, just kill near you, if you can. I used to search before, but now i use mofing to regen mana.

Prettyduck, first level is pretty easy for any party. what is your tactic? Is Cl on first line, healing self? Does he have an tower shield? Much easier with it.

I just beat the lv2 human boss, Manulton(Did I spell right?) through a hard battle. I killed rest of monsters except the boss, but all I have then was only Cleric. It had 16 HP regen, which is more than boss' dam to him. But he had 85% accuracy by blind, so..
I made macro to keep clicking him and read a book in front of my computer.

I balm the cleric and either the rogue or the ranger, summon a dire wolf (twice if you have to.) Pierce armor if they wear it, poison if they dont (you can do both with a bow.) And save your healing til a character is low on life (20% or lower.) When you have cleared all of the weaker mobs in the instance you can restore your focus before the boss and expend all of it without worry, when you descend to the next level your health and focus will be fully restored.

Duck, search the dungeon first, take on small groups of enemies first, find as much gear as you can get before you face the boss or the fear-thingy. When you've explored everything thats easy and geared up a little bit, use potions (or shrines) to fully restore the party's health and mana then go into battle. Take out mobs that are easy to kill and deal a good deal of damage first. The most difficult part is getting through the first couple of levels, even if you have to give your rogue a bow and put him in the back row (so he doesnt take damage) then go for it... surviving the first 4-5 levels is key, once you get past 4 or so things become eaiser and eaiser.

I have got a hint for survival.
Get buffs. because it is continues, buffs does not disappear.
Conjuroro, same reason.

I'm struggling to beat 338 with Jaojin's mem, Cl Ro Ra Co, but i keep losing at lv 1, where only basic skills are allowed. How can i manage it? I really wanna make it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
a-k mundane become extraordinary takes one item in your inventory of low quality (like grey or white) and makes it into a good quality (blue) If you have not white or grey items in your inventory it does nothing (IE get a low quality item from that level first, then use the shrine)

Stupid question, is there a special setting you have to be on to get the gold? Been at this for hours and have yet to earn any gold. :|
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The archanoids for one are really annoying, if you have moderate quickness and they web you, the entire enemy party can get 2 full rounds of hits before you can react again. Very difficult to survive that.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Typically I dont perfer to try and outlast them, because they outnumber me usually, and there are times when they make it incredibly difficult to keep everyone alive. So instead I try to take out mobs as quickly as possible, each one I kill makes it easier to survive the others. And with a little luck (stupid misses; 5 hits out of 12 swings is not freakin 95%) It will come down to 1 or 2 weak mobs and 1 or 2 still high damage characters.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hey bar, theres two kinds of ways to win. Beat them quickly or outlast them, I lose characters often (I always played on hardcore mode, even when I first started) Rogue + quickness + Flee instantly = 2nd chance at a failed battle. Regroup, try again. Surprising enough, I dont have a problem running out of potions or shrines =0)

wow i lost some data a few months ago so i came to play and make a new one and the old data was there! still great game but you should make tables and give each unit a certian ruate you choose like cleric can go for combat for melee resto for healing and holy for magic
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
mpsniper, if you clear and explore a level 100%, then on the next level you can go back to rest and recover once.
It basically works the same as having an extra shrine, except you don't lose score like you do on a shrine.

Damn nexus engine beat me again. Beholder has at least only 30 poison resist, but nexus - 100. Or it level dependent? Anyway, this ignoring-armor 80% 2-man attack IS STUPID
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, you can on the next level gain an extra full heal, as with a healing temple. You can 'retreat' to the previous level which you cleared to rest. For some, not much of a benefit, but it's saved my butt before - especially on those levels where you have to fight through one or two clusters of monsters because the dungeon happened to lay out all one-way from the entrance.
