The most dangerous level in survival are not final 40 as you may expect, but there is a "death row" in every 20-wave cycle, from 13 to 15. It is actually a trap. On 13th you get cursed from wraith, on 14th reduced damage from dvarves, and finally, on 15th you get void cannoned from Nexus. And next, 16th is pretty hard. It harder than final 20th. Just look at highscore table - most deaths on these levels - 76, 96, 136. If you don't pay attention to negative procs - you'll dead.

lol wierd,the halfgoat guy appeared on my first go at this but on the 2nd, i couldnt seem to find it, i always thought it was on the 3rd lvl...

I havent battle the big end boss in 40 levels. Legendary monster pop up every 9th lvl. Maybe big/double is every 10th.
I wonder how often the half-goat that gives u special item for clearing the level shows up. Maybe its hinted in the level text?
A FAQ would be really good ^^

@ungodlyone: ive never seen a lead proc a lead. and i know the rogue ability that grants someone a bonus attack if that attack is a warrior it has never proc'd lead.
@oikar: not sure how often but later lvls you will encounter a boss (eaather a 2 boss set up or the end boss again)

Anyone know if the Leadership passive, if it triggers another warrior to attack, can trigger Leadership again? because it can with the hunters passive.
If so, wonder if that one could trigger another leadership... and another...

i just read what i typed need to clear it up lol.
when the mobs start hitting for higher than my regen was then my team will fall shortly there after. there we go much better

i dotn spam golems :) once buffed they stay alive untill wave 36 and even then only if focus fired will they die (up to a point of the regen from my hunter will this plan fall short with my team the regen was 42)

got your point. yes. you can get this badge, spaming golems (what a boring thing!) like you can get it with thousands of other party formations and tactics. But I am talkin about best tactic, which lets you go past 100 waves, and pretty quick.

believe me i know how good wars are and how clerics are, but i still say golems have merit in suvivel and i dont see the "need" for clerics over something else (you could get around needing benadiction with control)

Mistical yes cleric needed if you want to go past 100 wave. But golems just waste of time. Learn to use warrior. One 300HP 80% dam reduction unit is WAY better than two 115HP 65 dam red. The problem with gilems is they fall too fast and you need to waste time to recast. Thats boring. Better use free cells to remove curse.

oikar:i wish this game wasnt about 1 round matches and one shoting bosses a little more strat would be good but with warriors and 99% mit and dps getting one shoted its hard not to push to that quick kill

again i dont use a cleric or a warrior and use golems i was just pointing out that you dont NEED a cleric and golems are decent really

I really enjoy relaxing with this classic adventure. I play with the warrior, cleric and thief up front with the mage in back...Classic!

Although it got spoiled somewhat when reading through 50+ pages of comments with hints, tips and other spoilers :/
(suits myself, need to spend time doind other things...)
Maybe for a next version we can see a multiplayer feature? Would be really cool. Dunno if possible with flash though. Hopefully a multiplay game wouldnt be all about quickness and 1-round-kills. Obviously it might need some rebalancing too etc.
Anyone know if Garin thought about this?

Oikar: No. So you have to start all over if you set up a character and don't like it...which means you have to do your item shopping all over again, too.

Actually I don't need these boring rest stops at all. I just hit enemies, with no wasting mana. Even ho heal friends - hp regen still does it most of time.

Mistical, the first level when I noticed some troubles were 55. Before it I run with no boring stops. And it looks like that my party can go 2 times more. But you can stull use golems and waste clerics firepower to heal them :P And again. I don't see your 56 on the highscore list.

My 100-level party has 2! =) But it is cleric who use second one, and i wish it was a ranger...

i do survival with a conj,mage,ranger and yes with golems as tanks. it works well. got to lv56 b4i didnt let my team rest b4 the next wave

Lets talk about survival mode. First, we need a cleric. Not for his healing skills but for his bendiction and raise abilities. A pair to him - conjuror. Not for stupid golems (which just waste of time) bit as a second raiser, to raise cleric. And for aegis for sure - skill, which can let as go past 100 wawes. Warrior need it. Wearing 80% damage reduction, he can sponge any amount of damage. HP regen helps a lot (you'd newer heal him until level 40 as a fact). So, fourth member is Ranger. Note I am not talking about firepower. Yes, Barbarian or rogue can do more. But it mean just fewer hits a battle. But this is s u r v i v a l challenge, not firepower. Good Luck.

Yeah I underestimated survival mode. With 3 member party it goes to be hard. 36 only. But with spare reviver it's easy walk.

The spelunking badge is easy to get on easy setting. Just play alot of levels. If you want you can try standard, or hard, but you might need a cleric
