I like the solution of the Hydra very much, it's very interesting. It's the easiest legendary, though. With petrify and nest of vipers, if we are unlucky a Gorgon can be nearly invincible, a Minotaur is easy, but with a labyrinth, it can really shake up things. With Hydra, it's just too simple - all attacks should be concentrated on the hydra itself (it isn't even immune to poison, so some rogue sneak attacks and ranger envenomed shots can finish it off just too early, or all attacks should be concentrated on either its left or right head, when it dies, it will spawn another one to the middle, on what a barbarian can use its whirlwind as even more damage).
Lalewyth: What did you attack? Poison dragons, wraiths, gargoyles, and some others are immune to poison.

Now I have new thought! What if I make a physical immune tank? a warrior with shield wall adds 25% physical resistance and attract attacks every turns. And the best MP regain in survive mode is 46 per turn. Of course it shorts 14 mana to get the needed 60. But hey, a turn after it is 100 again. and 40/14 = 3 turns. It means I can survive longer and kill faster. (But still, it won't work against archer which ignores physical resistance)

I found an important fact. In survive mode if you don't find the items you need, just save money and begin the battle. In wave 1 click "X" then exit to menu. After you go back to the shop, you'll find item list is renewed. (this makes it easier I think)

Is the rogue's poison proficiency skill (the one with 25 ranks) bugging out for anyone else? I just had an attack with one of my rogues and the poison didn't apply.

Obviously one hit kill method is not good in survive mode, since mobs HP increased wave by wave. Also healing over turn is not a good method either because damage either increased.

How to prevent those 2 arrows hit in one target? Even I have a extreme solid tank I still have no idea how to face those archers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
With slightly improve which use only one wargolem in front of mage. There is no lasser beam 1 hit death on conjuror this time. However my conjuror still lost in wave 90 by 2 arrow hits. Ranger lost in wave 91. Warrior and wargolem got cursed by wraith in wave 93. Wargloem lost in wave 95. End in wave 96.

is damage reflection calculated after damage reduction or alongside it? Either mechanic makes for different strategies. I"m just having fun experimenting and looking at the game from different angles.

i got sneak attack, any mobs are now a cakewalk to fight with my 4 rogues...even all the legendary creatures. Its honestly kinda boring how easy it is now
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, The problem is when they out the shadow they have to take enemy's attack. But it will work fine in the dungeon, since it is another one hit kill style. Why don't you combine it with sneak attack? You'll have the potential to pick up any enemy with just +30 MP regain. It can defeat Hydra while my all melee team can't. (However I killed hydra by my old team pretty easy.)

4 rogues on extreme is absolutely amazing. Nothing lives long enough to do anything when you hide, attack hide. just stack drain life, health regen. get only get sneak attack and hide and the rest poison. put the 4th rogue in the back with a bow and only give him hide. works like a charm

In level 12 I found my defense is not enough. It's time to change plan with more endurance. I can abuse instant kill any way.

What I feel now is that 2H weapon is indeed super strong, but they usually reduces the quickness. So even I have multiple instant death "Execute", it just wastes my potential to kill them before they fight back. And with hand weapon I'll have extra slot for 3 characters for more MP regain. Leadership is also awesome skill! After excute if target don't die, usually a following attack bonus takes care of it. I don't think 100% death is needed now, with enough MP regain it will be imba.

It is common to get 100% regen, that is ring of boundless energy, which 100% heal you after each battle. Add some item together and you can get 100% too. There are about 4-5 item which has regen after each battle. An orb has same effect too. At 1st few lvl is hard, but then it will be smooth. Warrior... Well, how you face legend then... Ur att dmg is pathetic compare with their hp...

A team with 4 warriors. skills are Execute, Cleave, and full Leadership. With 100 MP regain they can kill anything in this game, if it is possible to get 100 MP regain.

And if a warrior has more than 30 MP regain, his skill defiance can make him a super tank because he doesn't need heal in any battles to be a tank.

@Entee: I don't find proper resource to gain HP/MP regain after every battles. Especially MP regain, I feel it is really such a pain when I am in low levels. And If I have enough MP regain, I think 4 warriors maybe the best party since they have the high damage reduction, highest damage output (with 2H weapon), 4 times 100% instant kill, highest fallowing up attack chance. But the problem is, can you have 100MP regain before you go deep?

I just dont understand... Why you want to take more than 4 turn to take down a party, ur party can kill all the monster in 2 turn... And yes, my cleric do 0 dmg, because he doesnt need to. Mage+barb+ranger(2 turn kill) is enough. Agree if you fighting legend or survival... And you should just keep going... The point is to see how far you can go in that mode.

My conjuror lost in wave 55 because I have summoned a wargolem in front of her. Exemplifier-8 shot beam cannon then she is gone with a cross mark(XD). How long can I last?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I am already in wave 48, and now I hate wrath, shaman and summon creature because to remove their debuff needs a several turns. And I don't find the way to remove "Reduce Damage 50%". If it is wargolem simply summon them and buff again. But I can't remove it from my warrior. D:

Forgot to mention that everyone except one has over 100% damage reflection, and that plus a lot of added poison is doing a good job of helping to kill monsters before my turns even come up.

On level 23 now with my mage/ranger/warrior/barbarian party, and they're still doing extremely well luckily! I'm fighting legendaries over and over for items, and I still don't hurt from lack of healing. Things die too quickly. Just got Minotaur's Axe and my barb's damage is awesome now. :) Frostguard: I do plan to try with Rogue next time, probably with an entirely new setup to experiment with.

im at stage 13 and all is well, but i carnt seem to find where survival mode is, do i need to unlock it somehow, or do i just need glasses :)

In level 11. My warrior is 334HP, 63% damage resistance, 59 HP regain. Ranger, 182HP, 61 HP regain. Other two member actually can do nothing just watch if it is not boss fight. Maybe I can do heal for more imba numbers like nature's balm +46 per turn. but what is the meaning to play more? I know there is no problem at all. I even buy 2 legendary lures and kill them at once.

I don't try infinity mode since after end boss I am invincible no matter how I play. Now I am trying next mode, den of terror, and i am in the level 3 with the same team kills every thing. I am not a pro, it is just standard difficulty. :P

If cleric has 30 power regen. Heal doesn't even matter. Only for revive u must save up once in a while. For the rest nature's balm is healing the party. But just in case u have cleric healing, just for less reviving. After level 20 or so, there is no need anymore for nature's balm. And u can just go for high damage, try killing everyone in one turn. Only when u get to legendary monsters or hard bosses. U can always relly on the nature's balm, evenomend arrow.
But I'm in level 69 now and I never use intellect moves from the ranger anymore. My party is hardly attacked now.
Owh btw, holy light from the cleric is handy too. They miss alot, especially Orc Savages.

@Kiraice: That's why I always go for power regenaration on a cleric. My best
party is Warrior, Cleric and 2 Rangers. Begin: Warrior uses shield wall and defiance when needed. Because only warrior is in front. Cleric goes for heal, revive, anoint and purify for those curses. One ranger is pure for ranging, equiping high damage. Second ranger is also for healing. Giving him intellect. For heal, evonemend arrow and nature's balm.

Sonara: I'm totally the same, but I use rogue instead of mage. A rogue doesn't have any area attack, but has incredibly high damage, higher than any barbarian could do. And, of course, I agree with kiraice. And, against Corruptor, a rogue helps a lot: a rogue acts first, and with Sap strength, he prevents the Corruptor from using Dark Mirror. After that, it's a pushover.
