how long is each campaign? before i lost my old hd, i had gotten down to 15 levels on the first campaign (maybe more, cant remember exactly), but im just curious on how many floors

No, read what i write, clear all the lvl, include lvl1. I want 100% clear. Not very hard without cleric but i hate rely on potion(no shop= no supply too). Btw, i not playing extreme, 3 char(mage+barb+ranger) can kill at least 4 normal monster lol, cleric is just for tank and heal, not dmg. Anyway, just for play safe, i go for cleric. You like gamble, go for 4 rogue, and hope you can get good dagger all the time.

However, quickness 70, what you have in the beginning of the game, is far enough, you will act first. And have a rogue in the back row equipped with bow and all points to dexterity added; all others should have daggers with strength or dexterity.

Entlee: Try playing hardcore with four rogues. Use scrolls of deception on the first level when necessary, fight only against smaller monster gwoups. On level 2, take hide for all of them. Rogues can reach Quickness 100 withoutany difficulties, so they will act the first. Hide with all of them, no one can attack, and then with double damage, you can kill anything. Trust me, it works even on extreme (attacks after hide deal double damege) and on hardcore, without a cleric.

Yes, sorry for my words if they were aggressive or something, I also thought this as an opinion. I didn't find clerics too useful, however that must be my playstyle - I like to reach very high damage by choosing the statistics that way and high quickness via right weapons, and eliminate enemies in the order they come - they can mean barely a harm to a party when it is equipped well and uses this strategy. Anyways, almost all fighter classes can heal themselves (or do something against death - warrior resolves, ranger has healing lore and can even regenerate others, rogue hides so it can't be attacked) - but I use only the hide out of these. And that's only for the double damage. Perhaps all this was because I was a little upset at that time, sorry.

Oops, didn't notice your comment that healing was rarely needed. Emphasis on the fact that you may have a different playstyle.

@ Frostguard: Yes, cleric isn't much for a fight, but has access to Heavy Armor and is the only class that can heal effectively IMO (plus Litany of Pain is nice.) You may have a different playstyle and this may not work for you, so just so everyone knows my previous post was my opinion and not necessarily a fact.

Garin, was Legendary Lure added recently? I've never encountered them (I was on level 103) and now I find them every time in the Emporium).

styles: Cleric is the worst one, according to my experiences. Healing is quite rarely needed, and cleric is the only one what HAS to have high value of two statistics: strength to physical and intelligence to magical attacks. Warrior is far more in physical fight and mage is a lot better with magic. Cleric replaces a warrior and a mage but makes both of thess classes' task poorly so doesn't make any sense. I rather use: fighter, barbarian, rogue, ranger. They take down almost any enemy before they could be harmed.

I fought 3 legendary monsters in 1 campaign.... and didn't even finish the campaign! Note: NEVER play Hardcore without a Cleric, and a good one!

Regarding survival mode: There's a lot of min/maxing you can do here. Pay very close attention to the resistances you party can get through spells and don't waste your money buying items which duplicate it (like, say, buying Tenacity items for a Warrior using Adrenaline) - remember that spell effects last the ENTIRE survival mode because the battle never ends...

I found 2 legendary monsters in the first 25 levels. In addition, I fight one almost every level, because I buy the lure from the shop. I've only seen the hydra, gorgon, and minotaur though.

The only problem is that legendary monsters are just too rare, about 100 levels ago met I one - and Gorgon is much more common than the other two. Other ones could be (dragon, cerberus, titan, sphynx, some examples).
Otherwise the game is GREAT my favorite of all on Kongregate!

Choose the "Fall of Tellunos" campaign. There's some small text which says 'A new survival mode' but it must have been too small, this question comes up a lot.

okay im not a noob but how do you get on survival, do you start on hard mode?
and black recon4321 i got same ring and it comes up later too but also other items are like it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow glitch or uber-ring idk what but i just got a ring (LVL 1!!!!!!!!) that gives 30000 str and 30000% damage reflect

How to move people is when you first start the battle, do not click, just rearrange you teammates with your mouse. :)

a tip for noobs on survival the "battle" never ends. So effects like the rangers Nature's Balm never run out, so you get the regen plus poison immunity until that char dies.

@Codyraymiller don't know for sure about survival, but three rouges in fron and cleric in back has worked well for me on both den campaigns so far, and i imagine it would on survival

warrior and cleric in front, conjuror and ranger in back, get vamp/health regen/power regen items, teach cleric + conj revive, and you're pretty much set

My tank warrior:
208 health regen and 10 power regen.
9813 armor rating and 99% dmg reduction
with 135% dmg reflection
and 45% lethality.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Curently my warrior tuants with 249% reflection
So if someone was to hit a normal 172 like the curruptor( he pwnd himself lawlz)
i would do 2.49 times the dmg he does to me so 428 dmg to himself and if he does that every turn for about the 15 turn fight then it is 6424 dmg to himself, Reflection makes fights much eaisier
