By the way, grandpoobah is absolutely correct. I had a warrior, cleric, conjurer, ranger. The permanent buffs used were Inspire, Adrenaline, Elridch Aegis, Nature's Balm, Swiftness. Speed is only really important for the Warrior's Overwhelm, which came in handy against annoying Leaders and Trolls. Conjurer always kept a Mana Sprite and an Wargolem alive. Both also always buffed. I tried to keep the weakest enemy alive at end of every battle so I could Annoint all characters, and then finished the enemy off with the golem.

Woohoo, finally got the Doomed Heroes badge :).
Quit on level 41. Could've probably gone quite a bit further if it wasn't such a chore Annointing everyone every single time there was one enemy left....

my cleric was able to revive everyone in though he was the only one left ._.
if ur cleric has 30+ power regain, ur pretty much set

Once you figure it out, the survival mode just gets boring. Once you realize that the entire thing is considered 1 attack, then you can build your team. In the normal game, quickness matters a lot, because you can kill people before they ever even go. In survival, quickness matters not at all, and buffs that last until the end of the battle stay for every wave. So you spend the first wave summoning and buffing and then you go at it. The high score says wave 108, but I'm guessing they just gave up like I did after only 53 waves.

I like my rogue. His damage is at like 1050 atm, he blinds 40. And poisons 5/4 of his normal damage. He's 9% lethality, and 60%+ resist stun+poison. Seriously, a great team though is Warrior and Rogue in front, Ranger and Mage in back, warrior covers ranger, and Rogue covers mage. I guess mah Rogue is a pure then. He has low armor but can kill anything 'cept a boss in 1 turn :D

Ah, I see...Since every level you get a passive +3 to all stats and daggers use Dexterity AND Strength, in the later levels Rogues must be super-strong...

At least in the second campaign, that's the one I play. Oh yea and Deacon you're exactly right you need a conjurer and recycled shop items to get anywhere in survival. futhermore any score of over 300 is most likely fake and definitely anything past 500 is illegit. (monsters go up 1 level every 20 levels, at 500 they are level 35 to your level 10 thats a huge difference and you start to get 1 hit killed)

Suiton it's random. I've had orange items 4 levels apart and sometimes up to 15 levels apart. Simply keep track of the levels of the orange items you get and you'll see it's random.

Something i forgot about, spent lot of time reloading the game to refresh the store & setup the character's gears for the survival mode. All have been said through other comments regarding methods (or google it :p). perfecly doable.(for me regarding the 0 break & waves, no idea how to hold without a conjuror with wargolems as add dmg/decoys, mana dealer & dispeller if anyone have other strat, I'm interesting to give it a try, just whisper me :p nothing else worked for me).

2 clerics+2Rangers got me through the hardmode without too much probs, the major one for me was to survive until they all get their based spells & buffs. Working on the survival with classic team (warrior/cleric/ranger/conjuror), looks fine so far, just have to take benefit of nature's balm & manaspirit between each turn till full. 4/5 I like both chapters of this game.

thanks sluggernaut. yea ive had 2 dread fathers so far, im at lvl 73. i have the visage and once i just got a random orange item so im pretty sure ur right.

For those of you who are just starting out it's random but you will find legendaries about once every 25-35 levels and a special "mixed level" 1-2 times every 25 levels about. Mixed levels have different types of enemy races and will either have a 2 boss group for a random orange item or dread father or corruptor. Like the Legendaries they each have 2 unique drops, book of dread(off hand) and dread fathers visage(helmet) for dread father and demon skin cloak and demon signet ring for corruptor. Hydra drops hydras tooth(1 hand weapon) and Hydraskin cloak. Minotaur drops minotaur axe and minotaur horn(off hand) Gorgon drops serpentine ring and gorgons head(off hand). Again how often/what level/what they drop is all random but playing through levels will continue to produce them.

Mageblade so you can use Book of Dread. I use the ice attack on single targets so I never need the normal attack that staves provide. As far as what level book of dread drops it's random. I will say this only Dread Father drops them, you have a 33% chance of getting one(I think) I'm guessing that you have a 33.3% chance for book, 33.3% for dread father's visage and 33.3% for a random orange item. It's posible the %'s are different but I'd bet that's the formula. That would apply to legendaries and the corruptor as well.

Monkeybot, why Mageblade and not some kind of staff? Is it because your Mages will primarily be using Electrical Storm and not the Auto-attack?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Bug: Can't use Overwhelm on a boss if Leadership procs, the Leadership stops the overwhelm from going even with a higher quickness.

Lethal is split just like stun and blind. It's basically only good for single attacks units like rangers and mages shouldn't use lethal gear. Orzo that party is not fast, a fast party has mages in it. IE Barbarian/mage/mage/ranger or warrior/mage/mage/mage. Nothing can clear levels faster than mages with all intellect and electrical storm attack. Best gear for mage-Victor's Laurels/Robe of Affliction/Savant's Gloves-Leggings-Slippers/Shroud of Evershifting Mist/Ring of Boundless Energy/Mageblade/Book of Dread. Use Acumen orbs in everything except mageblade, use Toxicity orb. This will give them tons of poison 60 quickness which only greeblers can go before and 46 power regen so you can cast storm 3 times per battle for maximum devastation.

Baluchitherium : right clic, storage amount : unlimited, no more laggy, see the description ...
Suiton : i don't know but i think it is like blind and poison ... i will tell you when i will have a ranger with 100% instat death, if all dead with arrow rain, or not ^^ it will be easy ... if he had 100% :p but it will be hard a 100% instat death ... actually kill all in turn with no insta- death ...
