When you go for the survival mode lvl 40, remember that it counts as 1 battle so all spells that says for the remainder for the battle counts till you die. a good thing to know :)

The ultimate combination! I got to survival wave 40 with ease! 2 warriors, 2 clerics. One of the warriors is DPS with vampiric, while the other is tanking with a bunch of soothing gear. The mages sit back and use their censors to cast augmented healing magic whenever the warriors are injured. They usually don't even attack, they keep passing turns so that they will regenerate power faster. Whenever your warriors start taking too much damage. The clerics heal them. If anybody dies, theres two characters ready to cast revival at any given point in time. Since everybodies wearing heavy armor, even that doesn't happen very often.

i use 2 rogues 1 warrior and 1 conjurer the rouges are for taking the big dude or to quickly kill with create opening the warrior will have massive armor rating and dmg to take hits and deal dmg while the conjurer heals and revives but can still fight its a nice combo been using it for months

I use 2 warriors, a rogue, and a mage. For 1 warrior i use heavy armor and all the buffs. For another i use medium armor and speed gear to get the overwhelm. I equip my mage with a sword to get enscrolled blade.

Garin announced in his site that godfall won't be the next one coming but chronicles last year. Also, it makes more sense for someone who's smarter to heal more than someone who has more muscles/stamina.

Monster's Den: Chronicles is now playable to all on Armorgames.com
Don't ask me about the name change from Godfall cuz I don't know.

when doing the survival mode, make sure you have at least one conjurer and other classes that give 'until the end of the battle' boosts - the wargolems that the conjurer can summon are priceless because they soak up massive amounts of damage, especially with a defence boost.

@SweetJanice Looks like someone didn't even get to floor 2 before telling everyone the game sucks... I have played the new Monsters' Den and it seems everyone in the whole world but me is having save issues on it... It is about the best thing since Christmas...

Chronicles has the potential to be as good as the other dens, but isn't there yet. Even as is, it's still a good solid game, just lacks the charm of the other two.

Monster' Den: Chronicles is still v1, its ok , needs the good old boss battle and more weapons , i havent came across some of the weapons , the skills kinda sucks too

Finally..jesus. This game dragged on way, WAY too long.... it took me over 2 hours on Normal to beat it, only dying twice...it's only a medium. It's a good game, but it became mind numbingly boring and I just got so damn tired of it. The insane tedium/how long it dragged on totally ruined a good game.

Not bad. Having enough health can be hard at times, but I really like that you can go to the next floor as soon as you find the exit.

Played Monster's Den: Chronicles... I think it's pretty bad. I guess that's what happens when you make two amazing games but then decide to make huge changes the way the game works.

I saw Monster's Den: Chronicles on Armorgames.. It has an 8.3 so far.. So post it on Kongregate soon to see what it's really worth. :D

Turns out if you get a Hydra with Pandora's box, killing it will end the match even if there are other enemies that aren't Hydra Heads.

Conjuror + Barbarian = charging melee units
pushing enemy's melee units back wards and charge them, lol
or they just pass their turns

3 clerics and a barbarian is all it takes.
cleric1:strenght based,fervor,heal,revive
cleric2:endurance based,fervor,heal,revive
cleric3:intelligence based,power regeneration,healer buffer
barbarian:srtength based,health regeneration..charge,whirlwind

ok as someone who is on the endless den, my cleric has gotten less and less useful. I'm not insulting it but, my conjurer's heath fairy fully heals my guys 2 times and by then my conjurer can summon another one if needed his attacks are a lot less powerful then my knight's and his area attack is pathetic compared to my mage. He still removes poison, curses, and any reducers I face. He also instantly heals my guys alittle.Other then that though, he is weak

I played a party with just 3 conjurors, the 4th slot being left empty. they are really sucky in most battles, but it's a fun & unique strategy

I think I may have found a bug. Lots of buttons don't work. Like the delete confirmation button and the exit shop button. Maybe it's just a google chrome problem though.

I have a bug. I'm playing on beginner level, first dungeon. I've found items that are supposed to regenerate health every turn. They appear to actually DECREASE my health each turn, but when I'm poisoned, they cause the poison to heal me. I'm guessing there's some multiplier mix up in the equations somewhere. Thanks, let me know if you want any more information to replicate the bug.

Survival mode is pretty easy if you optimize for a long, drawm out battle. Get as much health and power regen on items as possible. I also like the vampire drain on items + aoe skills. Buffs DO NOT EXPIRE, cast them early. Get a ranger and cast the heal over time on all members, it will stay will you the entire 40 waves. Revive (cleric skill) is a must. Most importantly: when there is one enemy remaining - just pass until all of your characters are back to full hp/mp. You should regen about 60 hp and 20 mp per turn just from the ranger skill and item passives. Use benediction to remove curse.

Extremately good tip for your cleric! The Litany of Pain applies debuffs on your enemies if you use armor/maces that have them! So, if you equip the cleric with only 10% chance of insta-kill armor and stuff, it will have 90% chance of killing every foe (but bosses) when it uses Litany of Pain! And theres stuff that gives you 20% chance of stun, equip 4 of them in your cleric and then he will have 100% stun chance using Litany of Pain!
