Let's say you had a Cleric and pumped up his Death % to a hypothetical 60, and he cast Litany of Pain, would all the enemies have a 60% chance of being insta-killed or would the chance be spread out equally, like Blind and Poison?

Through all factors and possibilities, ranger ranger warrior cleric is the best possible build. gear for quickness on all three characters except the cleric, which youd gear normally. sword and board on the warrior, with rangers going towards CC and poison. got to 50,000 points in a little over three hours

How can you have problems in playing this game? It's quite simple-working, you just have to read what's on your screen. I loved other "Monster's Den", and this one is great. Waiting for the next one! In "campaign mode" i'm on level 76, and still progressing. I want to check if it's REALLY endless. :D

One would think a four rogue combo n survival would kick arse. However, after they hide then sneak attack, the next wave walks all over 'em. The flip side is that abilities that last till the end of battle stay on till you die.

Heh. Using a warrior, ranger, cleric conjuror combo i managed to get to wave 15 in survival. I also sold all my starting equipment and only bought a weapon for each of them.

I don't know why there's the hate on conjurers. Their single target damage is pretty good, having an extra rez is great in case your cleric goes down, wargolems can be a big help, and banish is INCREDIBLE on occult levels.

This is a good game, I usually don't like these sort of games, but I do. (:
I usually use Warrior, Cleric, Mage and Ranger.

Doomed Heroes
Dude! You just completed the Doomed Heroes achievement in Monsters' Den: Book of Dread and won the Doomed Heroes badge and 30 points!
front row : cleric far left warrior middle both shielded
back row : conjuror far left ranger center
make sure cleric has lots of resist stun gear

Amazing game. Very addicting, awesome soundtrack, and overall fun. Anyone who doesn't like this has a short attention span or dungeon-crawlers just aren't for them.
5/5

Purple, its a 50% chance that'll happen. Which isn't really common that it'll hit. And anyways, fairly good game, 4/5

letality sucks. my ranger has 50% lethality. i take it that would mean 1 every 2 shots kills an enemy, give or take. well, it doesn't work like that. sucks

Warrior, Cleric, Mage, & Ranger. Thats my group. Warrior's for attacking (of course), Cleric's for attacking (keep up with his strength!) and healing/reviving, Mage's for whole enemy group damage, & Ranger's for enemy row damage.

complete crap. I was doing the waves and my cleric somehow lost the benediction skill about wave 20. I still made it to 36th but man is that annoying or what?

ramsen yes, cleric could be useful, but you'll find he is not that important. the problem is in no mana regen. where he will find mana? just kill monsters faster and then regen rangers on last one. there is some guide in my profile

Just planning on doing the second campaign. I don't understand how cleric could be useless though, especially early on.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ramsen, it depends on campaign and difficulty rating. for example, to get beyond 200 waves in survival you will need both cleric and conjuror along with warrior in front. Only one slot left and I strongly suggest ranger. For regular campaigns at hardest difficulty cleric become useless and i'd suggest 2nd ranger, for their mana restore ability.

I'm thinking of making an extreme mode party of warrior in the front and cleric/mage in the back. I can't decide on rogue or barbarian for my 4th member. Any suggestions?
