Under rating threshold (show) my best part so far has been 2 clerics one for healing and one for litany of pain and fervor, then a warrior and conjuror, the conjuror is utility and the warrior is cleave and dmg

Under rating threshold (show) oh and i would use the conjuror for reviving party members instead of the cleric. the cleric doesnt really do much besides litany of pain and some small healing when i need it.

Under rating threshold (show) phenomforever: best party is a warrior-barbarian-mage-rogue party. Try that, add statistics to reach the highest damage. Problem is that everyone uses a cleric because thinks that healing is essential, but in fact it isn't. Just make sure that you keep your damage and quickness high enough, and reflection helps a lot, too.

Under rating threshold (show) phenomforever - I've seen a few comments on using an all-rogue party. I've had some good success with it (on Extreme + Hardcore mode). Skip the first level boss (and maybe some of the harder fights) and take 'Hide' for all party members when you reach level 2. Then, in battles, just hide everyone the first round and lay waste to your enemies in the second round. ;-) It helps to keep a quickness of at least 65 (preferably 70), though.

Under rating threshold (show) Smegger - you can only visit the shop in two ways: 1. Use a "Portal Scroll" (drag it from your inventory onto any one of your characters' portrait). You'll normally find one every other level or so. 2. Use an "Emporium Preferred Customer Badge" (you can buy one at the shop for 30000 gold - usable once per level).

Under rating threshold (show) Entlee: I've TRIED cleric, but it wasn't worth anything. And, when you compared inspire and anoint, you've forgotten only one thing - Inspire lasts for the whole battle, anoint lasts for only one attack. I used ranger, too, I know creature lore, but I like mage better than ranger (they are both ranged attackers with area attacks, but mage is better). Overwhelm is easy to use, I'd bet you haven't used a rogue yet, than you would know that a rogue can CRIPPLE, what reduces quickness to zero. This is very useful against legendaries. Fervor is worth nothing, because you spend points of a cleric on intellect (to healing intellect is needed, and why else would anyone want a cleric?), so his/her damage will be so low, that after a while, with fervor will he/she deal as many damage as a normal warrior would with a normal attack.

Under rating threshold (show) AAA, try play normal mode and then move to extreme. Dont tick the score modifier... 1 cleric is enough... 2 cleric will cause dmg output too low if you make your cleric healer.

Jul. 15, 2009

Under rating threshold (show) Frostguard, you never use a cleric, then dont comment on cleric. Cleric has one of the most dmg skill which doesnt nid any circumstances. Like warrior overwhelming, only surpass cleric fervor if he wearing light armor. But i need tank. While warrior lose much of his dmg power(inspire indeed is nice, but 80% overall lose to 75% boost of most dmg char, just think deeper and you will find that cleric annoint is better than inspire, cant believe you use rogue but never think of this), cleric can do tank and dmg as well, which warrior cant do it alone... Althought i rarely use that fervor. Barb pulverize... guess you never use ranger either...

Under rating threshold (show) Oh man, frostguard, the buff can be place for every turn... Cleric is not as bad as you think. In my thought, i will put mage + ranger + cleric + mage/rogue/barb as my party. Well, unless you play hardcore or you wont get what i meant(and get higher lvl maybe... like over 200)

Under rating threshold (show) Entlee, please, the anoint is good, but no one starts with a cleric just for anoint. It makes no sense. Instead of a cleric with anoint, I start a warrior with overwhelm what is worth a lot more. Anoint is only for one round, a warrior can use adrenaline for a permanent +30%, and then overwhelm, really deadly. If the barbarian hit the legendary with a pulverize before, then even more, no details needed. Anoint is, yes, good, but I rather have a warrior barbarian rogue mage party (because this is the best) than a cleric barbarian rogue mage party, in what the cleric can anoint the barbarian, but it's simply LESS than a warrior with adrenaline and overwhelm. And I mean that cleric can't do damage ITSELF, I didn't mean enpowering others (but, by the way, a warrior has inspire what raises only 20 % but for everyone and permanently). A warrior is far better than a cleric what is weak in both close attacks, magic attacks, and buffs, too.

Under rating threshold (show) Kiraice, just to let u know, the best dagger is that purple dagger which has insane poison dmg(this should be orange, i cant remember the name). Try to beat boss party... Get one of this dagger and you can hold it for a very long lvl. @ There are no orange bow, but got orange crossbow, Foe Piercer, 10% chance to kill, 30%chance to stun.

Under rating threshold (show) @namdrib: Do you mean a guy comes from big green "?" mission? I don't let him join my party since if all my team are hidden, he will be the only target that remains. I don't like this happened because it just like I murdered him. XD

Under rating threshold (show) @assaulthyu: I just found that "good" dagger becomes fewer and fewer after higher levels. It is like 5 daggers for sell suddenly changed to only 3, and only 1 of them has highest damage. Now I am somehow worried what if my team's damage output is not enough? the best dagger and the worst dagger have about 50~100 difference and it will be lager later I think. Also not all items varies by levels. For example,Head of the Gorgon in level 15 is totally the same as level 42. I have 2 of them. :)

Under rating threshold (show) Elusiveness is IMBA!! It seems triggered by hit and will check again if another rogue is the next target. Then here is the math. If a attack is 95% hit chance it means 5% miss rate. And if this 5% chance checks multiple times, it means it has greater chance to be evaded finally. 1st, 5%, 2nd will be 5%*95%*Elusive%. Then if Elusiveness will bounce infinite times, the evade chance will be 5/(1-0.95*Elusive%) %. It will be 5/(1-0.95*0.75) = 17%, and this is only the rate with normal hit chance 95%. What if it combines with blind effect?

Under rating threshold (show) Create Opening reduces first attack to 75% damage, but it is a 100% chance trigger that another member will do following attack with 100% damage. (much better than leadership from warrior) Use it with hide has advantage in boss fight when you always need 2 hits more to a boss. Also those melee skill can be used in second row if all members in front is hidden state. Adjust that member in second row becomes 1st fast than you'll have 1 melee shot every times show up.

Under rating threshold (show) well, my point is all rogue team doesn't need strength after end boss. Their weapon damage, Poisoncraft and 2 states (str+dex) damage bonus do excellent job. Full endurance investments make them not fragile anymore. The only weak point is also gone. No wonder people recommend 4 rogue team.
