to earn money you have to find a portal scroll (how = just look in chests you will probably find one)
you have to sell some of your items in your inventory to earn money.
and ETN_Ownt:
Melee characters (cleric warrior berserker rogue) have to be on the front row, long(er) range characters (mage range etc)
have to be on the back row (not neccesary long range CAN be on the front row but they're very vulnerable there)

Doomed Heroes badge is quite toilsome, needs thorough lineup and items selection, but gets much easier when you wait for full focus recharge after every wave... Unfortunately not only much easier, but also much more boring. Super Spekulung could be horribly tedious as well, but thats why there are those modifiers... Generally the game is deep and fun so worth 5/5.

Perfect type of game to play if you just want to burn some time. Heralds back to the simplicity, yet addictive nature, of old-style gauntlet arcading.

Great game, Love the different campaigns you can play. Only problem is the recommend thing...i use 2 rangers usually and it says to make em use a sword??? Other than that 5/5

To reach wave 40 have a warrior, ranger, conjurer, cleric. Each character needs around 240 hp and buy all the soothing equipment you can; my characters had 2-3 + natures balm= 40+ hp regen per turn. Make sure to have skills that last the entire battle.

Of course the problem is you have to be mindful that you won't be able to buy all blue and legendary items for your characters, so you'll have to settle for a few simple green items, too, but try to get, for example, just enough items with 'Purifying' in their name to make 100% poison resistance. Of course, if youre party has a Ranger, you won't need ANY poison resistance since you can buff everybody with Nature's Balm in round 1...so know what your party can do for itself and keep that in mind when you buy your items. You don't need 'Tenacity' items for a warrior using Adrenaline.

A tip about starting survival mode (if you want to seriously min/max it and see how far you can go): Know exactly what kinds of items you want your characters to have, and only buy those for them. You can always start the game and flee your party in the first round, this will save what you've equipped so far. When you restart the party the shop will refresh with new items.

The thing I hate about survival mode is you spend 20 minutes making a party and then if u mess up or luck is against you you die in 2 rounds. You should be able to save your created party before you begin the game.

I made it as far as level 4 with 1 dude, but he died way too often even on Easy.
Retrying with two Conjurers on Easy. Nice challenge...my summoned pets actually are effective.
