Frostguard, this is impossible... here is the list where monster can 1 hit ko : orc axe thrower(past lvl100), almost all deep creature back row(not poison drake, about lvl 150), protector(lvl 200), minotaur(lvl 150, normal att. lvl 200, any att can 1 hit ko...). Of course, maybe ur quickness allow u to kill 1st and they has no chance of hitting u, try to let them hit u(don do it...).

so, whats every1's opinion on the best parties for the campaign modes? Right now, i'm trying a warrior, a cleric, and 2 rangers, works pretty well, because at end of every battle, i leave a weak enemy, cast natures balm on every1 and get max hp/power
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yes, Zerix. But there is no fight when my HP is 90 and enemy damage is 100. Anyways, barbarian's intimidate (however I use it very rarely) and rogue's elusiveness will make the attacks hit the warrior, what hasn't much higher HP but around 60 % damage resistance (armor proficiency, if not even more - my record is about 80-90 %...)

There IS an awesome bow: Foe-piercer.
Entlee: Yes, I agree - different people, different playstyles. Sorry if I said something offensive, I didn't want to - I just don't understand that why did almost everyone say thet Cleric is essential if I could do very easily without it. However, I am now on level 120, but damage reduction reduces level by level if you don't change armour, so overall it remains around 10 %. And no monster could do any one hit kills if its target's HP was full. Even minotaur couldn't.

Sonuva.... Level 39 : / Cleric, Warrior, and Conjuror taken down on the -same- round. Ranger had less than 50% hp left ><

Hmm, so lengend lure make it easy... But i have play no shop. Watever, i just have my playstyle and you too. @dish, true enough, you can do that, but it is still possible you cant kill them in one turn. Frostguard, what lvl u r? Maybe ur 4 rogue has over 20% dmg reduction. But in normalmode, that orc axe thrower can 1 hit ko my ranger(7% dmg reduction) Minotaur normal att can 1 hit ko too.

by the way, don't try putting things from prequels into sequels, it really kinda messes stuff up. I accidentally did that with fuedalism and fuedalism II, it was very interesting.

The link for the site that explains how to do it on windows, vista, and macs, is http://www.lineridershare.com/faq.php It explains how in the 1st question.

You're going to need to paste the save into the EXACT SAME folder that it came from. Then refresh or re-open the monsters den game if its currently up. The save should be there. (If the slot you need to copy to is in use, then i think it MIGHT work to change the number of the 4 things you are copying all to a slot that IS available, i haven't tried that though, but if you need to, go ahead and try it, otherwise you're going to have to chose whether or not to replace the save that is in that slot.)

obeliskos, i actually know how to do that, cuz im smart like that. ok, so pretty much ur gonna want to go to where you save the files at. On Vista (it's real similar on windows, but mac im not sure, i know a site that explains all of them, i used it to transfer line rider saves)its C:\Users\whatever user you are\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\some random characters\chat.kongregate.com...then you are going to look for where it is saved. For me, its \gamez\0001\0531\live\monstersdend.swf...not sure if its same for every1 for this game. When you open the "live" folder, there will be a few things in there. One is interface.sol, the others will be slot1, 2, or 3.sol. chars, dungeon, inventory, party The things you need to copy are the 4 things applying to the save slot that the party you want to copy is in. What you need to do with those saves is either to e-mail it to yourself, or use a flash drive, etc. to transfer them to the other computer.

The items that have a 'made by' tag were the winners of a an item creation contest I ran on my site leading up to the release of the game.

I agree with entlee; you'll want endurance for the tanks, no matter how fast you can kill something, if you have full damage/quickness, what if something DOES one hit k.o. you? (ie. corruptor images)

So anyone know what the deal is with the dragon scale mystical breastplate -- It seems like an easter egg. It's a heavy armor useable by Rogues and Barbarians. and at the bottom left of the description it says in gray "made by jciv" almost like a WOW thing
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Entlee: Yes, I still don't spend (waste) any points to endurance, there is no creature what could kill you in one hit (including legendaries). And what sense is in spending points to endurance to withstand damage, when you can spend points on strength/dexterity to avoid damage. And any boss groups will die in one round: rogue sap strength/sneak attack to boss, ranger rain of arrows, barbarian whirlwind to front middle monster and warrior cleave to back row kills anything, even a boss group. I've experienced this quite many times. Especially, when you kill legendaries on every level (I'm used to doung this with legendary lures, emporium badge), and you've foe-piercer, serpentine band, hydra tooth and minotaur axe at the same time (no luck needed, use emporium badge and legendary lure all levels and soon you will be able to do this.

Have you guys tried it with single class? I like to play it with 4 rangers. Some of the classes don't work alone very well at all, but some are very good.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
entlee your rather wrong...on my lvl 132 party in den of dread, i can one turn any bosss party that level has, and a point on endurance, playing without spending into endurance is fine, the only times i put into endurance is when i have a warrior/cleric that will tank for the back row
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok hey is your goal to kill every monster in the place or just get to the exit cuz ive killed every monster in every den
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Frostguard, let me clear this up. 1st, a boss party will not die in 1 turn. 2nd, meet 3 trolls boss party and you will get what i mean(in case you wondering how i lose). No point in endurance? Ur party will just 1 hit killed by monster(i once play like that thought, but well, 1 hit ko). Against legend... rogue is not important actually, ranger is. Dmg part can be done by other char like mage, dish out more dmg lol
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Warrior in front middle, Cleric behind him, and one Ranger on either side of the Cleric. Nuff said... I easily achieved all badges with that set up.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Legendaries are quite easy if you can just last the battle with heals/tank and a ranger/barb doing the dmg; and of course, gettin their counters would be useful. (Dusa = stun res; Mino = barb w/ jostle; Hydra = barb in mid slot w/ charge not killing heads)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I just can't understand. How did you spend your statistics points? I spend them to reach higher damage, use most equipment (armor) what gives me statistics what are needed to this. I don't waste any statistics to endurance. I just don't use potions, two shrines and a retreat per level are enough. And, if I can, I reach high quickness, because I think the best way is to survive is not healing but not letting monsters to damage me by killing them before their turn.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I once try ur party, fail very badly. Potion not enough, it is hard to get past 20 lvl. But if you lucky, get some item, then you will be winning for very long(i hate the luck part)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ranger is much more important against legend lol. Creature lore plus immune poison, + barbarian cause 30% dmg reduce. However, rogue is very good against those no poison resist, but if you want to say dmg, it will be barbarian, if you lucky... Vengeance+ brutality + reckless rage = 230% normal dmg.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Fizzywix: Yes, intellect is the best if you use staffs and strength if you use melee weapons with conjurors. Something else: Gorgons are a bit overpowered and are far more dangerous than the other two. Petrify and raking claws are just all right, but nest of vipers can cause very high damage (however, I have plenty of vampiric equipment and high damage, if she doesn't use petrify, I can counteract the poison by attacking).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not really gambling, when I play with warrior-barbarian-rogue-ranger, Entlee - like I said, ranger with rain of arrows, barbarian with whirlwind and warrior with cleave finish off anything in less than a round, expect for legendary monsters. Rogue is very important for destroying anything (with full poisoncraft, if the enemy would even survive the attack, gets its 50 % as poison). Against legendaries, rogue is a must-have, I think (sap strength prevents them from using their powerful specials, or cripple allows my warrior to use overwhelm on them, which I don't need to say is very powerful. Another thing is their poison - the legendaries (on my level) have more than 150000 HP, and only with my rogue, they get about 20000 poison damage each round after some rounds (my ranger with envenomed arrows helps, also). Even Legandary monsters can become pushovers when we have rogues well equipped and developed.

The best combo is cleric for general healing and upping other characters power (using anoint ), Warrior who can take lots of dmg, and dish out a decnt amount, ranger for area attacks ) is pierce attack ir amazingly usefull and barbarian who makes up for his lack or protection by dishing out ridiculous amounts of dmg and much later in the game, most of his attacks are one hit kills.
