It's not the advanced pathfinding that's slow, it's everything else. The original Monsters' Den ran fine on this machine.

If turning off the adv pathfinding helps, it doesn't seem to be by much. Still very laggy, and still laggy on other screens like inventory, switching between characters in the character menu, assigning skill points, etc.

For custom portraits, images need to be 60x60. (I'm almost positive...could be wrong).
Make an account on www.Photobucket.com. Then upload your image(s) on there. The rest should be simple enough to understand.

I was involved in this game's Beta; the game is as good as it can be! My guess is that people using Macs and those with older computers have trouble. My pentium 4 laptop runs this game real well! My desktop with the Intel Core Duo Extreme just makes every game on Kong Fly! fyi I only did the beta on my laptop, the slower computer, for obvious reasons.

Garin, don't know if it's intended, but Adv Pathfinding defaulted to off when I checked in the options.
Thanks for the tip re: purify and Shadows; any way to respec my team without deleting them and starting again?

I'm giving it a 5/5 because the last one was so awesome but the lag is actually so bad that every clikc in stats I make has 30 second delay to actually doing something...

I just uploaded an updated version: if the dungeon movement is too laggy, you can switch to the old-style navigation by turning off "adv. pathfinding" in the options screen.

When playing the survival campaign, how do you get rid of Curse? I could have survived forever until I got Cursed into oblivion.

I feel bad for Brute Wars, it was likely to get badged (if it could) now, its just a joke.
We'll see if its processor speed that causes lag, quad-core will be used for this experiment...

dam i jus realized this...game is laggy...too much options for games( if i start the game now i might hav to restart for the badges, if they want different options)....theres alot of new changes (thats good though...but to a limited extent)

jacksonas: yes, the game lags. Read the comments. It lags for a large number of people, and not just on map movement. It may be an OSX issue, a firefox on OSX issue, a flash version issue, but it's not a "slow computer" issue.

Well, it is laggy on my Mac. Spinning ball of no joy even. The only other Kongregate game I've seen this kind of lag with was re-released with a fix for the lag.

game doesn't lag.it's just that it takes more time to move around new areas with every click unlike the old monster's den.
people who play flash games usually don't have fast computers but all games run fine on my PC so it's not a game problem.where there is no problem there is no fixing!

The first game was an amazing dungeon crawl, this one improves on almost every level except for one thing, the updated graphics tend to cause a little computer lag, even on the lowest setting, other then that an amazing additon to an excellent and addicting game. Bravo 5/5
