all you stupid people out there the temporary become permanent speech gives potions that permanently increase stats by 5 one potion increases str and end by 5 then the other potion increases magic and dex by 5 too

Mysterious Altars aren't bad to use, but I won't tell you what they do :)
bowchip, be more specific next time. Luckily I tested it real quick and found the problem :P (The Quit Battle tooltip stays on the screen.)
I didn't see this in Beta >_<

Loved original game and am thinking that there are some great improvements here. But lag is a big issue and finding the shop is a quest in itself. Overall though, loving some of the changes in the inventory, but enemies seem much harder to kill.

Simply awesome. Improvement from one of the best dungeon-crawling games made in flash.
Garin, you are awesome in more ways than one.

There's a "delete save file" on the bottom of the save files =P
Scrolls shouldn't be needed for a level or two, and by that time you should have at least one. Don't pick up the grey items if you intend to sell them.
The Mysterious Shrines should be kind of obvious...except maybe the Mundane Becomes Extraordinary. Keep a White item in your inventory; this shrine makes it purple ;)

If my ranger didn't constantly miss even though he has 109% accuracy I'd say that very little is wrong with this game. However, that is not the case. I've had characters miss 3 turns in a row at 95% percent accuracy. I've had my ranger miss several times while at 109%. The "pin" ability for the ranger is now a complete waste because you can no longer count on it actually working. Why have a stun ability when it doesn't stun? *Sigh* And I still can't for the life of me figure out what the "Mysterious Alter's" do. The ones that read "the temporary become permanent" one. Oh well, I'll just go back to playing MD1. ~B.B.

nice new classes, and some cool addons to the first one, but i dont like how you changed the AI to focus fire on a single hero, makes it way too tough to not die on the begining levels.

While there are a lot of great improvements over the original monster's den, I would have to say that some of the new features were put together in a rather sloppy fashion. The shop, for example, is pretty horrid, and I think should be gotten rid of entirely.

Well, I was intending to write this as a scene in an RPG and failed, so sod it and let's talk about the game.
.
I really liked the previous one.
.
This one is better.
.
I love the new classes, despite me still being attached to the oh-so-outdated warrior-ranger-mage-cleric setup, and the item store is excellent, although the conversations lack polish.
.
One thing that still really grinds my gears, though, is the dumb names that - as Sod's Law dictates - I will always be given the worst of. "Go forward, Wally the Warrior, unto thine divine quest!"
.
Yeah, it doesn't really work, does it?
.
The music, though, is really good, despite it being only a few bars played in an infinite loop. I never thought that could work, but you did it, and I'll be damned you did it well.
.
Congratulations on a fine game, but make sure you put in some really huge changes for the sequel, if one is coming.
.
And Moody, you need to find a portal scroll. Dig around for a bit and you'll find it.

Some very thoughtful improvements over the original.
One frustration: the Menu button is where the Inventory Sort button used to be, and I keep quitting to the menu out of habit.

Need healing spells and buffs to be usable out of combat, potions usable in combat, actual quests where someone sends you to do something and then you do it, and an easier way to get to the item shop.

Did this get massively more difficult? I blew through 70+ levels on hardcore on the original, but I can't even come close to beating the level 1 boss here!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ow that I finally played more of this game. it's extremly tough on stardard. any boss battle is almost certain death even if you put points in endurance or have high attack. Also the weaker mobs you faced earlier seem to be more effiecient in killing the player in the boss battles. the item shop is terrible because he buys like 25% of what item is worth and in the low levels if some1 like clearing them completely it's almost impossible. Why does my accuracy hardly hit even when NOT blinded and at 103%. I like how poison stacks now but it is terrible when facing 2 poison things in the back row while their side front is full. You should add more slots or allow people to make 4 front 2 back or something because conjurors can't use full potential as of now.

SUGGESTION: SPELLS THAT CAN BE USED OUT OF BATTLE. FOR EXAMPLE: HEALING
AND POTIONS TO USE IN BATTLE. FOR EXAMPLE: MANA AND HEALTH POTIONS

The lich are by far the most irritating portion of the game at this point, with the aoe stun. I fought an undead boss battle on the first dungeon level, with two liches in the back row...horrible. Never want to go through that again. It needs to be readjusted. Beyond that the only thing I could say is that they need to let you carry your same team to the other chapters in some way(if you can now, I haven't found it).

Fall of Tellunos needs potions in the shop, or the game needs to fill in your hit points when you raise endurance so you don't start out wounded.

Pretty good improvement, BUT the accuracy bug hasn´t been fixed. Characters still missing most of the hits even with 95% (teorically)...I miss even more often yhay blinded enemies..!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For some reason, I felt that the game was harder, especially the Lich is just too powerful since it stones you all the time.
but other than the slowness, it's fine.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
for some reason the version on onemorelevel.com runs smoothly unlike this version here.all the games on kongregate run fine so it must be this version of monster's den that causes some slowness.

does int helps conjurers when summoning creatures, or should i give him stam, i didnt see anywhere that said more int gives a better summon, so i dont know whether to go into int or end

Better than the original, but will take longer to complete due to extreme lag; it has virtually killed the computer. Hope they find the problem. I predict badges and a card: which is good.
