The expansion to Monster's Den, Book of Dread is an excellent dungeon crawler that manages to improve the original and offer an even more enjoyable experience.
The number of classes has been increased and new skills that offer passive bonuses have been introduced.
A new campaign offers a challenging boss, and a survival mode has been added to the game. The dungeon features new enemies, there are now random encounters throughout the levels and a shop allows for the selling of obsolete equipment and purchase of new items.
All these additions make the improved version of Monster's Den a challenging, but very rewarding game.

i have bought a legendary lure but if you use it do you need to fight the monster or does the monster fight with you???

Took about an hour, but I managed to get the badge for the quest. Last enemy was a bit of a let-down, since I beat it in about 5 hits...

done. i had mage with ensorcelled blades rogue with hide+sneak attack (double sneak attack will work too i think) rogue with pin (essential) cleric with fervor. i killed the corrupter before it even attacked

Hi, I'm new to this game.
Earlier today when I resumed a game my Journeyman Stone had disappeared, I tried relog but to no avail. Just now I got a Savant's robe, I could see it but if I try to give it to my mage, the robe disappear to be replaced by a normal one, any explanations??

Need to find "PORTAL SCROLL" to access the shop NPC. You can then buy sell items. (Unless u disable this to increase your score)

I take back all the bad stuff I said about this game!! It is great. Level 9 is the last. Just deafeat all enemies to unlock the fight with the corruptor. P.S. I used Warrior>Cleric>Mage>Barbarian. Hope that helps some people! :)

YAY I WIN!!!!!!! Corruptor was wicked awesome he clones u!!!! i used berserker, ranger, cleric and mage. NOW I HAV COMPLETED ALL THE KONG QUESTS!!!!!!

Level nine is the last level, you have to be strong enough to kill all the monsters on that floor and then the final boss...
Finished it and got my medal! I like the medals so far it got me to play games I normally wouldn't.

I had the first campaign end on the 9th floor. The Den of Terror ends when you want it to after you defeat the gate keepers.
I play: Warrior, Cleric, Mage, Mage. Mages only upgrade intellect every level. Cleric/Warrior is 2 endurance 1 strength. Get Warrior's armor buff skill. Give better armor to Cleric and a strong incense for heals. Both mages use wands that stun/blind/leech/poison combos. Their spells use the special abilities of their wands making them awesome.

How come on the front page it says you need the 10,000 gold badge from this game but on here it says you need to complete the entire campaign? It's such a pain having to finish an entire RPG just to finish 1/6 of a quest ~_~.

fun game, i highly recommend ranger as your main DPS, they are powerful, versatile, and efficient compared to barbarian or mage.

Characters in the back row must have a ranged or magic attack. Melee attacks from the back row can only be performed when there are no enemies left on the front row.

GAGH, how many levels deep is this freakin dungeon!? I just want to finish a campaign for the dragonage quest. This game is so dull!

this game sucks hard, and in the tweety bird kind of way. i can't believe it's part of the Dragon Age pomotion. this sucks.

Glitching where my "loot" doesn't always appear in my inventory... I always click get loot without unselecting anything and about 1 of every 4 items never shows up...

Compared to most dungeon RPGs I've played, I find this one obscenely difficult. However, that's a good thing (difficulty in a game, that is). I don't think, though, that I'm ready for it.
