I kill a Hydra and get some nice heavy armor - I look at its name it says HIGH FIVE.

@Chassuro_X: it's not the Pandora's Box, but the Emporium Preferred Customer Badge; it can be used once per level to teleport you to the Emporium. (I find that as soon as I buy one, I find a scroll every level...)

@ Daceleric: Finding one is the problem, I do not use Pandora's Box because the one I have used has offered me three Gorgons and using Legendary Lure always gets me a Hydra <.<

@Demon When you get a scroll that has a purple border you can tele to the shop and there is a tab that says sell items. You can also buy a badge from the store for 30000 coins that lets you tele to the shop once a level. @Chassuro Not really, that is one of the best axes but you should grab a new one soon

part3. Cleric: Buff on first round with Purify. Use Heal almost every turn. Heal all if everyone is running low on HP. Don't forget that healing yourself is most important since nobody else can heal. If your are fighting big wave, hit Holy Light so they will miss every 3rd move. If someone gets hit by poison or curse. Use Purify right away. Curse may kill rogues in 1 turn. Revive always when somebody dies but don't forget to heal yourself. Attack on enemies when you don't have anything else to do; Rogues: Hit Thief's Luck on first wave and after that just repeat this steps for whole game: 1.Hide 2.Sneak Attack (3.Pass Turn(use this only if you dont have 30+ power regeneration. You can use it sometimes to get some energy back.); With those settings you won't be having trouble unless your Cleric dies. So watch him tightly!

part2. SKILLS: Warrior: Meelee Attack, Power Attack, Defiance, Adrenaline, Shield Wall, Inspire and rest on defence side; Cleric: Meelee Attack, Heal, Holy Light, Revive, Heal All, Purify and rest on heal side; Rogue1: Meelee Attack, Hide, Sneak Attack, Thief's Luck and rest on poison side; Rogue2: Meelee Attack, Hide, Sneak Attack and rest on poison side; TACTIC: Warrior in midfront; Cleric right/left front; Rogues right and left back; BATTLE: Warrior: Buff with Adrenaline and Inspire on first wave everyone in your party. If somebody in party runs low on HP, hit Shield Wall. If Warrior is running low, hit Defiance. If there is no tourble just keep hitting enemies till they die. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS FINISH THE WAVE WITH WARRIOR. THIS MEANS THAT WARRIOR MUST HIT FINAL HIT!;

This is in 3 parts, since 1000 characters is the maximum; If you are having trouble getting to wave 40 follow this: CONSTRUCTION: 1 warrior, 1 cleric and 2 rogues; EQUIP: Buy cleric the highest energy regenarate heavy armor. Try to get 30+ power regeneration. Speed doesn't matter for cleric. Also get him highest possible defence with it + some strenght and endurance is nice; Buy warrior some really high armors + high dmg sword + high def shield + endurance on as many as possible. Get your warrior biggest possible defence and lowest possible quickness. Some health and especially power regen are useful here aswell; Buy rogues any set to get their speed 90+. Get them weapon that hits as much as possible and gives as much str as possible. Also poison dmg is a great bonus; STATS: Warrior and cleric gets everything to endurance. Rogues gets 50 str after equips + rest on endurance(30+ is fine).

for some reason a level 41 warrior with a level 33 minotaurs axe and has a 2end 1str build does a super high amount of damage compared to everyone else and still can take lots of damage

"for an extra challenge, I've been trying playing with 4 charcters of the same class."
I'm obviously missing something; I can't get the character generation screen to allow me two characters of the same type (and even trying to choose a character of a particular type seems to necessitate scrolling through an endless string of Rogues and Barbarians until I reach a Ranger). So what a I missing please?

I have to admit that whilst I love this game the names are the lamest part! And for the person who wants to sell gear you need to find a teleport scroll that takes you to the shop. There you can sell and buy some nice stuff!

I like a lot about the game -- but who thought up the options for female characters' names? Most of them are plain silly. Sorry to anyone who bears one of them in real life, but really: Charlene, Bertha, Priscilla, Chantel, Tammy, etc., etc... What kinds of names are these for fantasy characters? (And Aubrey's a man's name... Perhaps it's used for women in the U.S.?)
One gameplay suggestion: when using the new shoretcut for travelling, where you simply click on the target and your party goes there automatically, could there be a "are you sure?" message if you're heading through a room with enemies (especially the level boss)? I've twice lost a party because I'd forgotten that I'd moved through a room using a scroll of deception, only to travel back and find myself in a tough battle for which my party was underprepared. I know it's my own fault, but I can't help feeling that _someone_ in the party would stop and say "Hang on everyone -- should we just wander in here like this?"

for an extra challenge, I've been trying playing with 4 charcters of the same class. Barbarians: can't get past level 1, they have no healing and only 3 can fight. conjurors: got to level 3: quite interesting strategies needed. All ideas for progress welcome.

so i decided to go normal with no other modifiers on my first playthrough. ended up making it to fourty but now i can't get a game over. is there any way to end my game other than dying? not sure i have the patience to do that all again for one badge.

Good night, am I the only one that has a retard ranger that can't hit the broad side of a barn? 95% seems like 45%... honestly out of 11 battles now, the ranger only hits 1/3 attacks and no, there haven't been any negative accuracy modifiers applied. It's just a standard sit-in-the-back-row ranger with a bow, but this is driving me nuts. Anyone know if this is a frequently occurring ranged combat bug? I know it's supposed to be random, but my warrior and barbarian have 95% and seem to hit at about that rate, so all I can deduce is there is another range combat penalty that isn't being visually shown in the game. Help me understand this!

InhaledWheat - there are potions that can resurrect dead players outside of battle. Furthermore, warriors have skills to make it so they're the only one who can be targeted. Buff up the warrior, and use his shield skills, and you won't have to worry about resurrecting anyone.

Maybe I'm getting old but I do wish people would try to write properly when they make comments. 'Text speak' might be alright between friends but it does not make for clear communication on a public site like this one. Equally it would help if people making a point made sure their point makes sense - perhaps with some specific examples. Communication is an art and I do wish people would try harder.
