gmanjones, use a team of Warrior/Ranger/Conjuror/Cleric for the survival; be sure to equip as many buffs as possible on your characters, such as Inspire, Nature's Balm, etc; they last until the affected character dies.
I've gotten to Wave 56 with the right team and enough patience, I probably could have gone on.

Somethings wrong i don't always get items out of treasure chests...making me mad D:<
its ok, but not great, graphics are good, and game style is great :D...but gameplay, well its not very insterseting ... watching the same portraits and wish there was either a new campaign or something more than beating levels, like replacing the character portraits with actual characters so you can see the fighting and you can customize your characters appearance, overall a good flash game...i love the strategy; but i just get bored real easy on this one xD
as a flash game 5/5
as a game for keeping me awake 1/5

VERY QUICK WAY TO SCORE 5000 POINTS: Put on hardest difficulty, click every modifier. Change your party to 4 Clerics and do the first mission. All enemies will be undead so Smite will demolish them. Just explore, kill enemies very quickly, skip any hard enemies, and BAM! Use all the potions you want, since this will complete the challenge in less than one floor. Takes less than five minutes. (To skip an enemy, go into your inventory and use “Scroll of Deception”. You start with 5 of them.)

gmanjones: I used a team of 2 clerics, rogue and conjuror to get my badges, but haven't been able to get the survival one yet... gave both clerics purify, heal all and revive, then levelled up on wrath and benediction (the passive skills). Gave rogue cripple (essential), create opening and hide, then levelled up poisoncraft as high as possible. Conjuror I gave call soul (3rd option to bring party members back to life), vortex (great for pushing melee opponents into the 2nd row to stop them attacking) and rotated between bloodsprite and banish for the other skill (banish for levels with acolytes and neophytes).
anyone who's finished the survival badge wanna help out with a team? haha

i'm not as big on the hack-and-slash drool fest as I once was, but this is still a good implementation of it for being done in flash. clearly a good amount of energy went into its making.

May I just point out to all those idiots who think the game sucks, that you infact are an idiot and you suck. The game should not be rated on how badly you suck at it or how hard it is, it should be rated on the graphics, the thought put into the game, the overall balance and detail put into such a game. Can you do better, let alone create a good game of this magnitude? If so why don't you make your pathetic little game and post it up here so more morons such as yourself can rate your game crap because they don't like the genre or they cant beat it. So I would suggest now that all of you game posers delete your accounts here, get back onto your online shooting game, turn on your hacks like aimbot because you suck at that too, and after a few cheap, cheat, headshots you may feel better about yourselves.
Too those who are true gamers, my apologies for flaming these noobs but someone had to bash them on the head with a hammer and send them home crying. Great game, 5/5

spacepoop, no you cannot level up before you go down a floor. You level each time you go down a floor regardless of whether you have killed all the enemies or not.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Why would you want to go up a floor? You already killed everything there. 4/5, it still has the problem of getting boring after a while. And the survival mode should be an impossible badge.

As my team moves closer to being able to lay the hand of god upon the enemy, I become more and more addicted.
I highly recommend getting rogues with poison specialties :P. Whatever doesn't die from hits takes 32 poison damage before they get to swing which usually kills them.

the recommendations also include the lvl of the item,if u have a lvl 5 orange item and a lvl 9 blue/green item...it will choose the lvl 9 blue/green item

Hm, so after you have put all your skill points into all your spells you simply stop earning skill points. I was hoping for an extra stat point or something.
Recommendations are rarely useful, and in fact I frequently destroy items I'm carrying simply so they'll stop being recommended to me. An example: leggings with a high regeneration rate will be recommended over greaves with +endurance, resist stun, resist poison. I doubt that would be a useful switch.
Still, I think this is an improvement over the original.

Im starting to change my mind about this game... its not so boring after you learn more staff about how to play... :D

Orzo, it helps alot to utilize permanent buffs, because they stay with you from level to level without you having to put them back on.

I don't understand how the users rate in this site...
This game can be really better... Has the worst interface I ever seen, 0% intuitive.

am i missing something on the survival mode? cant get passed level 11, the npcs keep getting more health and damage while our troops barely get stronger. is the whole thing just forty waves staying at level ten?
