If I use the "Cleave" warrior's skill, but it triggers my "Leadership" effect, the warrior only hits the main target (plus the ally's bonus attack) instead of the whole enemy row.

i take it back, i can't stomach getting the badge either. i get into a fight on the first floor I can't beat, die and lose items that made said fight harder...?

On standard difficulty and finding the "recommend" item setting, it gets a point back. I shouldn't have started with survival. Still, I don't think I'll ever get anything past the medium badge here...

To OkRuling: boy you quit on level 1? man you must suck at life, oh well maybe you can go study up on how-2-get laid on the entronet, noob.

If you think its boring that means that you don't like rpg dungeon games. that doesn't mean the game is bad. If it's boring for you go play a shoot'em up, not this. And if you don't play this don't give it a 1 because you don't like RPGs. this is one of the best rpgs that i've seen

this game just sucks. it may have ben a lot better but after 1 floor im finding myself laying back and just clicking monsters. and the items are also very anoying, there are so many that you dont even care what your guys are equiped with just so long as they can kill. so all in all this is the worst game ive ever played on the entronet EVER.

the "curse" ability seems to vary in strength from 10% (corruptor's touch of corruption) to 50% (shadow's hex).
it is a reverse damage reflection -- instead of reflecting damage dealt to a particular unit, it reflects damage dealt by a particular unit.

VERY QUICK WAY TO SCORE 5000 POINTS: Put on hardest difficulty, click every modifier. Change your party to 4 Clerics and do the first mission. All enemies will be undead so Smite will demolish them. Just explore, kill enemies very quickly, skip any hard enemies, and BAM! Use all the potions you want, since this will complete the challenge in less than one floor. Takes less than five minutes. (To skip an enemy, go into your inventory and use “Scroll of Deception”. You start with 5 of them.)

getting the doomed heroes badge is really tedious! It hasn't been hard at all so far, but 40 levels? and it doesn't automatically save your progress in survival mode, when you decide to quit.

I really like the Monster's Den games. The gameplay is just sweet. The additions of shops and new enemies on top of the original stuff works very nicely, though I find it strange that I'm doing much worse in Ex-DenOfCorruption the second time around, but Ex-DenofTerror I'm just peachy. Also, really like the music.

It would be nice if you could equip items in the shop and sometimes it would really help if you could cast heal outside battle. Anyway, it's a great game with great improvements from the last version.

you have to collect all of the 9 of those orbs, can't remember what they're called. you need 9 to assemble the journey man stone. that ports you to the final boss.

Substracting points due to using healing shrines is a big time nonsense. Probably one of the most stupid ideas in the flash games on kongregate I have EVER seen.

The parrying daggers are a sort of offhand weapon, it acts as a shield, but it increases your attack slightly normally

fast method: make a team of clerics max difficulty all modifiers. This will work because smite cause enourmes damage on undead which make up the first level. you also need to explore all the rooms for extra credit

Score 5,000 points – This equates to fully clearing 2 floors without dying on the standard difficulty setting with no modifiers. You can choose to make the game harder to score points faster, or easier if you're the slow and careful type. I don't get it..

One thing I would have changed: I would have given my Conjurer the Conjurer version of the resurrect spell. I almost lost my Cleric at level 38, and that would have hosed everything.
Final Note: This method is EXTREMELY slow, although it's almost foolproof. I don't know of a faster low-risk method, though.

An additional note about Cosmic Prison: when you need to heal up, whittle the enemy down to 1 enemy and alternate wizards Cosmic Prisoning the enemy. Your Cleric will be able to heal your party, and the rest of your party will be able to power up.

Those doing "Defend the City": Defensive buffs last until your characters are slain; the Conjurer Wargolems make EXCELLENT resummonable meat shields; the Wizard Arcane Armor spell makes wizards quit durable (and you only have to cast it once if the wizard never dies); my best party (one that got me the badge): Cleric (in the front row, heavy armor, mainly 'Heals' and 'Heals All', but make sure to give him/her Purify to get rid of those nasty curses); Conjurer back middle (mainly casts 'Wargolem' and the Conjurer version of 'Armor All Party'); 2 Wizards (back left and right corner) one with Flickering Flame (cast on Cleric and War Golems), both with Arcane Armor (makes durable wizards), both with Electric Storm, both with Cosmic Prison (lots of uses, mainly stops your cleric from getting slaughtered by halting two attackers a turn or those annoying devil worshippers from summoning the demons).
