It would be nice if you could equip items in the shop and sometimes it would really help if you could cast heal outside battle. Anyway, it's a great game with great improvements from the last version.

you have to collect all of the 9 of those orbs, can't remember what they're called. you need 9 to assemble the journey man stone. that ports you to the final boss.

Substracting points due to using healing shrines is a big time nonsense. Probably one of the most stupid ideas in the flash games on kongregate I have EVER seen.

The parrying daggers are a sort of offhand weapon, it acts as a shield, but it increases your attack slightly normally

fast method: make a team of clerics max difficulty all modifiers. This will work because smite cause enourmes damage on undead which make up the first level. you also need to explore all the rooms for extra credit

Score 5,000 points – This equates to fully clearing 2 floors without dying on the standard difficulty setting with no modifiers. You can choose to make the game harder to score points faster, or easier if you're the slow and careful type. I don't get it..

One thing I would have changed: I would have given my Conjurer the Conjurer version of the resurrect spell. I almost lost my Cleric at level 38, and that would have hosed everything.
Final Note: This method is EXTREMELY slow, although it's almost foolproof. I don't know of a faster low-risk method, though.

An additional note about Cosmic Prison: when you need to heal up, whittle the enemy down to 1 enemy and alternate wizards Cosmic Prisoning the enemy. Your Cleric will be able to heal your party, and the rest of your party will be able to power up.

Those doing "Defend the City": Defensive buffs last until your characters are slain; the Conjurer Wargolems make EXCELLENT resummonable meat shields; the Wizard Arcane Armor spell makes wizards quit durable (and you only have to cast it once if the wizard never dies); my best party (one that got me the badge): Cleric (in the front row, heavy armor, mainly 'Heals' and 'Heals All', but make sure to give him/her Purify to get rid of those nasty curses); Conjurer back middle (mainly casts 'Wargolem' and the Conjurer version of 'Armor All Party'); 2 Wizards (back left and right corner) one with Flickering Flame (cast on Cleric and War Golems), both with Arcane Armor (makes durable wizards), both with Electric Storm, both with Cosmic Prison (lots of uses, mainly stops your cleric from getting slaughtered by halting two attackers a turn or those annoying devil worshippers from summoning the demons).

Heres a strat that worked well in the first game and still seems to do well here. Roll up a group of a cleric and 3 rangers. Pick up heal all, frevor, and holy light (whatever one reduces accuracy) on your cleric and then whatever you feel like. Pick up pin, hail of arrows, and poison arrow on your rangers then pump their health regen. Your Cleric is your tank and healer and can handle both rolls well. Focus on health regen for pretty much everyone, though if you can stack poison on one ranger and lethality on another do so. Open up large battles with 3 hail of arrows in a row, in the first few levels that will knock their hp down a lot and in later levels you'll start to kill a few as well. Focus on stacking health regen so you can take the pressure off your cleric, and you should do pretty well.

VERY QUICK WAY TO SCORE 5000 POINTS: Put on hardest difficulty, click every modifier. Change your party to 4 Clerics and do the first mission. All enemies will be undead so Smite will demolish them. Just explore, kill enemies very quickly, skip any hard enemies, and BAM! Use all the potions you want, since this will complete the challenge in less than one floor. Takes less than five minutes. (To skip an enemy, go into your inventory and use “Scroll of Deception”. You start with 5 of them.)

when wraiths "fade from view", they can still be hit by electrical storm if you target something else.
is that supposed to happen?

Bug: If your game saves while you are on the first tile of a dungeon, you lose your ability to go to the previous level for healing.
