Loving the "legendary monsters" and "special events". They are a nice twist to the usual. Also, as forementioned by others. Cleric needs staff. I mean c'mon... he's magical. How else would he restore life to people in 0.5 seconds?

I have 3 warriors up front and a claric. When 3 warriors have leadership up and they ALL do it over and over again... it's nice =)

I have a party of 1 warrior upfront with nothing but end raised each level, then 3 mages in the back row with int raised only every level. It seems to be doing me just fine... electrical storm x 3, then mop up with warrior and a maxed leadership. Staff damage = high damage at the moment.

5/5 once you get going. A few extra legendary monsters/shop scrools would be nice but apart from that this is really adictive and fun.

Three clerics up front. One concentrates on endurance and healing (1 pt endurance, 2 pts intellect each turn). The other 2 beef up end. and strength. In the back, an archer. You will never die with this set up.

somewhat sadly, when my warrior had leadership, all my other characters were dead. so it didn't work. obviously, but it is too bad there are very little legendary monsters. im level 57 and ive only seen 2.

then how about sap strength? sap + a mages power syphon means you can cheat a boss out of all his power points in the first turn, which seems very crippling. Also I heard many players mention how poison + poisoncraft is truly desctructive... Ah what I am asking others for, seems like I made up my mind anyway ^^ tnx all the same

I'm trying out a new party, can any experienced player advice me what skills to pick with the rogue? there are so many that seem good (poison, sneak attack, that stunning dust one, thiefs luck, hide, sap strength, sneak attack etc) that I cannot choose ^^

@KMARX: shrines.
1.temporary becomes permanent gives 2 stat-boost potions
2.a gift of magic gives a random item-enhancing orb
3.mundane becomes extraordinary changes a random white item from inventory into a purple one!

Everything in here is rigged to be too strong. Especially the dwarves. Rediculous. The only part that makes this game better than the original is more customization.

Since everyone feels like talking about stats... here is where I am at currently in my 450K rating game.
Difficulty 188%
Level 101 Explore 99% Clear 99%
Leaders killed: 99
Shrines used: 8
Deaths: 91 (mostly on the early levels)
Defeats: 0
The cleric is 74 quickness, all the others are 70 quickness. Everyone does around 400 poison
Cleric: 2902 hp 2526 damage 21 power regen, 100% regen after battles
Mage 1 (blinder): 2992 damage 110% blind 24 power regen
Mage 2 (middle back row): 3114 damage 40 power regen 110% stun resist 1485 hp 21% drain health
Mage 3 (bomber): 3285 damage 30 power regen 110% accuracy 700 poison
Basically, I kill everything in the first round with electrical storms before anything can attack. For boss battles and the occasional troll, it takes two rounds. For legendary monsters, I have a fullproof strategy for each one (which revolves around the blinder).
I take an occasional death in exchange for being able to clear levels fast.
