I've first played when the game appeared on kongregate and just played again to get the badges validated.
The pathfinder has troubles now : it finds routes through two (or more) places while the best way is direct.
I know TSP is NP-complete (hard ?) but iirc, it used to work better.

its a great game, inded.
Nice upgrades with the custon avatar stuff, and the new "better or not" thing when you got a lot.
But also the game need a "auto equip" setting, with a option button for auto chossing better hp, or int, or str, for example. Cause the biggest flaw in this game is that he becames extreme boring in the last levels, where you just have to re-equip after every battle.
Could have some status customize in the caracters at the start.
New mosters, skills and itens. A good sequel.
and good save the "map hint" button

the easiest way i have found to get 5000 points is use 4 clerics on the hardest possible difficulty and do anything for extra points

For all those who dont´understand scores, there is a yellow-tag named "rating" below the % cleared, left of your firts character. It explains all the aspects of how the points goes

Dude! You just completed the Doomed Heroes achievement in Monsters' Den: Book of Dread and won the Doomed Heroes badge and 30 points! not as hard as i first thought i just had to get a better party to start with other than 4 mages =p

Ensorceled, the combo i use is cleric in front, two rangers and a conjuror in the back, granted, the first boss is the hardest, but you can skip it if you have to, then give the cleric endurance, use the conjuror to summon wargolem, then support, and just attack with whatever is best for the archers. if you come up against rangers you can heal your back row with the cleric, just make sure you boost his regen and endurance so he lasts
gimme a shout if it works or not, its the way i completed the campaign

Why are the monsters all the same in both campaigns? I loved the first Monster's Den but I feel like I'm playing the same game twice. :(

I loaded my game that I was playing and enterred a fight and got 2 badges and the card, then went to the shop and sold some stuff and got a 3rd

Xanthony: I have only 3400 on level 5. I never had 5000 points on the way down here. So I guess there might be some issue with scoring.
