Make your fall of telunos party like this. Have a ranger with max int and regen and buff speed. Int and regen is very important. Have a full str warrior with inspire, cleave, bloodlust, overwhelm. He will be your main damager. With ranger's buff speed and an offhand dagger will make sure that you can kill the most dangerous enemy before his turn. Get a full int cleric as 3rd member. Have the usual heals, revive and purify. Purify is very important against curses. Curses are biches here in the survival mode. I also found Holy Light to be very useful. The 4th member is your pick but I would recommend a conjuror for a back up revive and the buff party defense. But if you are already confident in surviving with just the cleric, then get a damager like a mage or a rogue.

One night at a tavern: Dudes! said Jerome the cleric. Lets get some cheep equiment and head into a dungeon! The other guys looked at each other and said: Heeell yeah

Mage+ArcaneArmor+Shielding+NaturesBalm+HolyLight+Invisibility+Incinerate=AwesomeTank Spam intellect not endurance! Try to avoid armour-ignore foes, or kill them fast.

Run out of healing potions? Can't win the next battle?
When you fight a battle, leave one weak opponent. Pass a few turns healing your characters and waiting for their power to regenerate.

Mage can cast arcane shield thingy that gives 40% protection. That can make them as tough as clerics that wear heavy armor.

underdepth, your rogue should use his sneak attack, he'll be able to attack with that, and your mage... well... she's a gonner...

Well, the Ring of Boundless Energy is quite a bit too strong, you never need potions if everyone has one of those rings.. And since you get lots of potions from monsters, you gain an mass of money in the endgame.

Only the barbarian has the ability to change position with other team member. Try to reduce the minotaur's power before he can shuffle your chars or put your ranged at front and your melee at the back. or equip your rogue with a bow

Can someone help me, I just faced a Minotaur, however he used some ability to rearrange the positions of my characters. Now my rogue is in the back and the Mage is in the front. So I'm wondering if there's a way to put them back to normal?

I think the best ring is the "ring of boundless energy". It is 100% health and power recovery after every battle, +15 Q and +4 power regen. Don't think i'm werid cuz i still play this game it's just that i still think it's cool.

Signet of the Demonslayer (50% stun/poison resist, +5 mana recovery) + Orb of Resistance (+30% stun/poison resist enchantment) => The single best ring. Almost full stun resist. Godly? Yes, I think so. I just got my 2nd of theese :D

You have to be damn lucky to win the 1st-Level Boss on Extreme Difficulty. x_x 'Course it doesn't help that I don't use a Cleric OR a Conjuror in my party, probably...

for survival mode:
-intellect ranger. A ranger that stacks intellect can buff all your party members (1 at a time) to have about 40 regen. They can also deal fairly good damage with envenomed arrow and give a quickness buff to your party.
-warrior. They can buff themselves to achieve stun immunity, i managed to get to 55% damage reduction before buffs from just armour. with buffs from a conjuror, can reach 70% damage reduction, then when you use shield wall, everything attacks your warrior who has 95% damage reduction. That can make entire waves easy because you have a turn of near-immunity.
-conjuror. The buff that gives 15% damage reduction to the whole party is amazing. summoning 2 war golems to fill the first row is also really useful. Having a second reviver can also be a huge benefit.
-intellect cleric. A cleric with intellect is better than one with strength because intellect improves healing and spell damage. Having the cleric at the back means that it pretty much won't die.

Oh and for the noobs who "can't get any scrolls", search the whole dungeon level and kill the monsters. It doesn't magically appear in your inventory. I can usually find 1-2 in the first 2 levels. Of course you won't get it if you keep running away from the enemies and/or diving into the next dungeon level everytime you find the stairs while only getting around 30% map completion.

I would personally prefer a the staggering bow of lethality over the unerring crossbow even if the crossbow is 2 levels higher than the bow. The bow gives a % chance to stun AND instakill an opponent. Anyway the game's weapon suggestions is usually helpful but you'll find that sometimes you'd prefer your own preferences over the suggestion. Like if it suggests that a wand that has glove with +10 health regen and +5 speed is better than my 10% chance to stun, staggering gloves because of my personal preference.

hmm... according to this game, a staggering planespine bow of lethality (level 6) is better than an unnerring voidwood crossbow (level 8). When i equip the crossbow and mouseover the bow, it then says that the bow is better. I was mildly amused.

i read the comment about the hydra but STILL killed heads first, because it is just too awesome to win whilst doing THAT :D

Definitely an upgrade from the original. I guess no one would ever play the original after playing this though. Aside from every aspect of the game being better, BoD has working achievements, not to mention the Impossible achievment in the original being out of reach for most people. Great job Grurin! This game series is now one of my Kong staples for sure. Can't wait for the sequel. :)

when the game suggests a piece of weapon or armor over what is currently equipped, trust it, but check it. occasionally it will not be right.

Holding ctrl while clicking quickly sells an item instead of clicking the "sell" button for every item. Also, the stats should be seen whenever you hover over an item, even in the shops. 2 stats window will pop out to compare your current equipment and the item if your character is able to equip the item. I don't know why you guy can't see it.

The system for selling items is cumbersome, perhaps a double-click with a confirmation request? Also, why didn't you allow for powers to be used outside of combat. Lastly, when buying items, you should really include the stats/effects of the item instead of just worse/better/equivalent.
