Game Dev fail: Setting up a level 1 newbie area where you can die while learning what to do, then everyone loses all of their weapons and you can never beat level 1 w/o quitting and starting over, making sure you don't die once this time.

i came just for the badge, but the game is very good. i know it's very good because i'm on the 8th floor and still haven't found a teleport scroll, only stupid skip-fight scrolls. i'm always afraid of my people dieing since i made it if i die, it's game over.... so i'm afraid o.o

Most useful window in the entire game (including combat): Recommended. It's a beautiful thing. I like the dialogue windows too, at the end of a floor and during the shop. Rogues have some funny quotes.

one of the better games on this site. i love how it shows you which weapons or armor are better than others in the equipment screen or shop, saving me a lot of time I would usually spend comparing the stats of items. only wish it would stop recommending swords to my ranger (2 bow only attacks) and mage (who's always in the back).

If you are only doing this game for the easy badge to finish the quest wait till the first scroll that gets you to the store. Sell all the items you have and if you don't have enough sell what your characters are wearing. This game is not for everyone, so as opposed to hating on the game just get the badge and quit. I know I don't particularly enjoy it but I didn't think to sell equipped gear and now I am stuck looking for another scroll.

What if Godfall has co-op.. you had 2 guys and your friend had 2 guys and you trained them separately, and there was a 50/50% chance on who gets the loot (and each person has their own inventory) or something...

This has to be one of THE worst games on this site.... No tutorial, no instructions.... I mean, it doesn't even tell you how to heal people! When someone dies, what the heck are you supposed to do? I'm sad this game had to have badges... Especially since it's on the new medal pack... 1/5.

Any notice that Rogue's Hide doesn't work? I use it and she can still be targetted :/ And no bonus damage comes from the skill.

If you play through the game, you will find scrolls, which you can use to teleport to the shop. There you can sell equipment that you found to get gold.

To those that says "rogue is broken", have you guys tried placing him in the front? Characters equipped with melee weapons (except spears) can not attack from the back row. Also, some skills need a melee weapon to work. "Create Opening" and "Sneak Attack" both need melee weapons to be used.

Sigh. I have gotten the teleport scroll as early as level 2. You can get more scrolls at higher levels. Just keep on playing and make sure explore every bit of the level instead of using the exit everytime you find it. It's not that hard to get the easy badge unless you have adhd.

I love how you complain about "WEREZ THE SHOP PLLZZZ HELP HOW GET GOLD" . Btw if you want to know you can enter it by using the portal scroll ...

Epic Gladiator on the iphone (its free) has this game's music to the note (then adds where this one repeats while in the dungeon).

You have to use a Portal Scroll each time you want to go to the shop, and if you get enoguh money you can buy the "Emporium Preferred Customer Badge", which will allow you to teleport to the shop once per level. It costs a lot though, but worth it if you have trouble getting scrolls.

I'm sorry to everybody who likes this game, but this game is so aggrevating at first. You have no instruction of what to do, and you do things that make you feel stupid later in the game.

You get the teleport scrolls from chests or monster drops. You can also an emporium badge to go to the emporium. (it's sold in the shop)
