@darkwolfScythe dexterity does not affect staff magic attack, intellect does =.=
@thestuff you could also consider equipping your warrior with medium/light armor instead of heavy armor making him much faster.
@OM 60376 Another awesome combo similar to cripple then overwhelm is the ranger's pin (stun) then the rouge's Coup de Grace (kills stunned enimies). Thing is you have to make sure the rouge is slower then the ranger. Equipping the rouge with a buckler will help slow him down.

@thestuff: Overwhelm will OHKO everything in the game so long as you synergize with a Rogue. Have the Rogue use cripple to ensure that the enemy is slower (unless you manage to make your Warrior's quickness negative)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Overwhelm sucks cuz the warrior always attacks last so there is no way to attack more times IT SUCKS! HOW CAN YOU MAKE YOUR WARRIOR FASTER?

Note: You can increase the amount of usable loot in your party by not taking a cleric or fighter. This means you will need a ranger to play healbot and have to be more careful in the first seven or so levels, but it also increases you damage per turn and helps to get your team equipped with good gear faster.

On level 70, beat pandora's box 3 times. Use 1 mage with tons of intell for lightning, another mage with tons of strength for Ensorcelled blade(killing legendaries in 2 turns), a warrior with tons of endurance and toxic weapon to clear 1st row of monsters. a cleric for anointing the strength mage on legendaries or the intellect mage on random groups of monsters(beats them in 1 turn). warrior in front middle, mages on front sides of him, cleric in middle back.

Survived thru Level 43 in Survival WITH ->
Conjuner,
Ranger,
Mage, &
Warrior. My tip is that you need to wear Warrior with best gear that is possible.
And I placed charecters/classes like this Top Middle Warrior, Bottom Middle Mage, Bottom Left Conjuner, Bottom Right Ranger.
And used all the buffs to get best possible % to survive.

@moneigh The Cleric IS a must for survival mode. While its true the ranger and conjuror give healing bonuses, the cleric is not solely used for that. The REAL reason you need a cleric is because of the debuffs the enemy uses. Just like how buffs stay, so do debuffs. Curse, reduce damage, slow, and blinding are all insanely dangerous, and the only thing that can remove them is the Clerics Benediction skill. THATS why the Cleric is a must.

@mysticazure it means you take 100% and reflect 75%.
@peacevan you need to get an emporium scroll, which teleports you to the shop.

Altars are random. So are the legendary encounters except for den of corruption's final boss. Cleric is not a must for den campaigns but it is a must have for the fall of telunos campaign. In den campaigns, you can easily have rangers as the healers or conjurors for revive but I advise not to get both because you'll sacrifice much damage output.

tip: 2 barbarians 1 warrior get warrior the cleave power barbarians the whirlwind and 1 ranger gets hail of arrows! always helps me! very useful against sixe people

for damage reflection: lets say 75% damage reflection. it means i take 100% and reflect back 75%, or do i take 25% and reflect back 75%?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cleric is NEVER a must. Ranger and Conjurer supply all the healing / revival needs you have :D. Conjurer supplies life itself! Make this guy a back-row tank (pump him with life so if he's targeted he won't die and can make it to his turn for the healing) and let him revive your fallen comrades :). Have the ranger increase everyone's health regen rate, and the warrior make himself the target, giving everyone a turn to heal (using conjuror's eldritch aegis, he's going to have ridiculous armor, and probably won't even take damage of 15% of his health [which he'll heal back because of the ranger's increase in health regen :D ). And depending on what kind of use you want for your Ranger, having a Rogue is helpful sometimes. Rogue can increase ranger's accuracy, and then Hail of Arrows annihilates the team ;)

Question how do you get the Mysterious Alters to appear? I understand that there are the three types and all that but is it random or do things have to be done for them to appear? and do they only appear in certain campaign modes as well?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The real way to win extreme lvl 1 boss: Try to start with full health and power. Cleric is a must. There must be only one tank in the front row (cleric/warrior). Conjuror to create additional firepower or tanks. The cleric's single target heal will only need to focus on one person, making it easier to win.

Quick note: make sure your inventory is not full when you get the TEMPORARY BECOMES PERMANENT shrine. Happened to me :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Oh I forgot to add. Try and get as much vampiric equipment as you can. Life leech is very very helpful in survival mode.

Make your fall of telunos party like this. Have a ranger with max int and regen and buff speed. Int and regen is very important. Have a full str warrior with inspire, cleave, bloodlust, overwhelm. He will be your main damager. With ranger's buff speed and an offhand dagger will make sure that you can kill the most dangerous enemy before his turn. Get a full int cleric as 3rd member. Have the usual heals, revive and purify. Purify is very important against curses. Curses are biches here in the survival mode. I also found Holy Light to be very useful. The 4th member is your pick but I would recommend a conjuror for a back up revive and the buff party defense. But if you are already confident in surviving with just the cleric, then get a damager like a mage or a rogue.

What is max lv of The Den of Endless Evil? Or this Endless literally means endless ;p ? Im already on 31 lv :) Has anyone reached 50, 100 or more?

One night at a tavern: Dudes! said Jerome the cleric. Lets get some cheep equiment and head into a dungeon! The other guys looked at each other and said: Heeell yeah

Mage+ArcaneArmor+Shielding+NaturesBalm+HolyLight+Invisibility+Incinerate=AwesomeTank Spam intellect not endurance! Try to avoid armour-ignore foes, or kill them fast.

Run out of healing potions? Can't win the next battle?
When you fight a battle, leave one weak opponent. Pass a few turns healing your characters and waiting for their power to regenerate.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Mage can cast arcane shield thingy that gives 40% protection. That can make them as tough as clerics that wear heavy armor.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
underdepth, your rogue should use his sneak attack, he'll be able to attack with that, and your mage... well... she's a gonner...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well, the Ring of Boundless Energy is quite a bit too strong, you never need potions if everyone has one of those rings.. And since you get lots of potions from monsters, you gain an mass of money in the endgame.

Only the barbarian has the ability to change position with other team member. Try to reduce the minotaur's power before he can shuffle your chars or put your ranged at front and your melee at the back. or equip your rogue with a bow

Can someone help me, I just faced a Minotaur, however he used some ability to rearrange the positions of my characters. Now my rogue is in the back and the Mage is in the front. So I'm wondering if there's a way to put them back to normal?

I think the best ring is the "ring of boundless energy". It is 100% health and power recovery after every battle, +15 Q and +4 power regen. Don't think i'm werid cuz i still play this game it's just that i still think it's cool.

Signet of the Demonslayer (50% stun/poison resist, +5 mana recovery) + Orb of Resistance (+30% stun/poison resist enchantment) => The single best ring. Almost full stun resist. Godly? Yes, I think so. I just got my 2nd of theese :D
