Still looking forward to Godfall. ;)
For those looking for a challenge in the mean time, try to find non-standard roles for your characters, e.g. use a ranger, mage, or rogue as your primary/only tank or a rogue/warrior that wields a bow. I would also highly recommend playing without a cleric - this makes the game significantly harder.
Combine several of the above for added fun... I'm currently having a blast with an Extreme/Hardcore party containing 3 rogues and a mage, which is fully able to take on Pandora's Boxes, etc.

"Here you go Mr.Ranger, a new bow."
"Oh cool! Wait where did you get that?"
"Just from that gargoyle we just killed."
"But that gargoyle wasn't carrying a bow. how did you get it from him?"
"You don't want to know."

I am seriously baffled. Will somebody please tell me how I can get to the item shop? It says there is some kind of teleport item, but I don't have such a thing in my inventory. Where do I find it? Or is there any other way to get to the item shop?

Whoa! I just found a neat little tip: the Cleric's Benediction removes the 50% Damage Reduction effect of the Barbarian's Reckless Fury! Get the Benediction points up ASAP, and you can have all the benefits of Reckless Fury with ZERO drawbacks (besides the turn spent casting it and potential loss of healing elsewhere)!

DEALI - GAME GETS EASIER AS U GO ALONG.
have warrior, cleric, summoner and ranger. have only warrior fron row. With the warrior just get high resistsances and armor (thick tower shield is a must). For weapon pick one that has lethality. skills get shield wall and execute and maybe blood lust.
cleric (Back row)- get high power regeen and intelligence and keep casting buff spells like heal make sure u can ressurect.
summoner back row (high int) get elldritch aegis and call soul vortex other skills u can Choose probably mana sprite or war golem.
For ranger (back row) do the damage and have good efects like poison or stun. take pin and hail of arrowns and hunting prowess
Now try to keep ur warrior alive as he will be the target of most hits.
Target ranged chars first and chars that attacks can ignore armor.
First round with ur warrior either execute some1 or shield wall if ur team is dying
That should work.

Warrior's Shield Wall should only work in the front row, right?
Well for me it just worked with a Warrior sitting in the back row.. well he was labyrinthed there by a Minotaur but it shouldn't work in the back row or should it? Just in case it's a bug, /reports

I haven't found a theme for suggestions on your site (open it, please. I think it will be nice for many players), so here it is:
It would be great to have something like chest at the town for items that doesn't stack with current characters builds, but player want to save them. For example, Book of dread in MD:BoD, or other epics that doesn't stack with characters currently.
Also it would be great to allow buy back currently sold items (or lock some items in inventory from sold - but this seems to be harder to code).

I was trying to get past Wave 5 (sickly, I know) and I suddenly saw that I hadn't put all of my mage's skills that I had so carefully selected and unlocked in her spells for use in battle. So, I stopped mid-battle and exited the game. It let me do this, and also let me re-enter and put her spells in, but now it won't give me the battle; I keep hitting the Man the Gates button and I can hear pages turning repeatedly in the background, but still no battle. Probably my fault, but just in case it's a game glitch, I'm mentioning it.

I guess I really don't understand the purpose of the Clean Slate. I thought it would take away all points in categories I didn't need (like intellect for the warrior) and give me the option to use them all for other things I needed more (e.g., like strength and endurance for the warrior). But I've used it twice now, and both times, it took away from my total number of points overall. WTF?

Another thing that is fantastic about this game are the "alternate builds". Many people might think using a bow with a warrior is insanity (especially since most of the Warrior's skills are Melee) - but it's not ! You can have 2 warriors, one with a standard "heavy armor build" the 2nd warrior with say Huntsman, Omega Helm, Greaves of the Dwarf King, Indomitable Breastplate etc ... With a potion, you can achieve > 90 % DR even without a shield. You don't need fancy skills - just Resolve, Adrenaline and Inspire. I actually think against Pandora's boxes in Extreme, a bow warrior is better than a ranger. (Although, a ranger's "Hunter's prowess" is very powerful and useful against the deadly Beholder). Armor Proficiency is seriously powerful ...

I think Tartare's comment below (21 Sept) is very accurate. When I first started playing the game (in normal) I thought warriors were hopeless ... and thought the game was just about AOE spells (Hail of Arrows / Electrical Storm). Eg: 2 clerics, 1 ranger, 1 mage. I got a shock when I started playing Extreme... A warrior with 100% stun resist, 100% poison resist, >90% DR (99% with potion), 100% accuracy, Health regen and %Drain Health is exceedingly powerful (can single-handedly beat multiple bosses). For clerics, I actually think an optimum build is one that abuses the Smite skill. Use Punisher, have >100 blinding, >40 (+75) stun and move cleric to back row !!! (note these comments don't apply to FoT)

@OmarCZ: yes, the Sacred Vestments are very useful for people like me who prefer a cleric on the back row as magical support as opposed to tanking.
Also, I swear at least an eighth of the total plays are mine alone. Love this game.

The quit button needs a confirmation message. I was on wave 33 and I went to select a spell but overshot it and hit the quit button. Hours of effort gone at the push of a button. :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
"sacred vestments" really? only for clerics? why there is special light armor (purple and without any usable stat!!! whatsoever), for a character that can wear heavy armor? only a moron would use such armor :)

Get a Blessed Censer of the Exalted Priest-Lord on CLERIC for massive heal bonus. Tack on Protection Enchant and you've got a shield that heals. Put all stat points into END. Get armor with [Runed] and [Speed] or [Reflection], enchant them with Protection or Perseverance, and you've got a meaty Cleric that can absorb loads of damage and make it disappear on its turn. For insurance, use Signet of the Demonslayer (or Dreadfather's Visage) and enchant it with Resistance (+30% Resist against Poison and Stun). Add in Scepter of Grace and you've got 100% resistance against stun and poison. Voila, walking Fountain of Immortality.
