Played Monster's Den: Chronicles... I think it's pretty bad. I guess that's what happens when you make two amazing games but then decide to make huge changes the way the game works.

I saw Monster's Den: Chronicles on Armorgames.. It has an 8.3 so far.. So post it on Kongregate soon to see what it's really worth. :D

Turns out if you get a Hydra with Pandora's box, killing it will end the match even if there are other enemies that aren't Hydra Heads.

Conjuror + Barbarian = charging melee units
pushing enemy's melee units back wards and charge them, lol
or they just pass their turns

ok as someone who is on the endless den, my cleric has gotten less and less useful. I'm not insulting it but, my conjurer's heath fairy fully heals my guys 2 times and by then my conjurer can summon another one if needed his attacks are a lot less powerful then my knight's and his area attack is pathetic compared to my mage. He still removes poison, curses, and any reducers I face. He also instantly heals my guys alittle.Other then that though, he is weak

I played a party with just 3 conjurors, the 4th slot being left empty. they are really sucky in most battles, but it's a fun & unique strategy

I think I may have found a bug. Lots of buttons don't work. Like the delete confirmation button and the exit shop button. Maybe it's just a google chrome problem though.

I have a bug. I'm playing on beginner level, first dungeon. I've found items that are supposed to regenerate health every turn. They appear to actually DECREASE my health each turn, but when I'm poisoned, they cause the poison to heal me. I'm guessing there's some multiplier mix up in the equations somewhere. Thanks, let me know if you want any more information to replicate the bug.

Survival mode is pretty easy if you optimize for a long, drawm out battle. Get as much health and power regen on items as possible. I also like the vampire drain on items + aoe skills. Buffs DO NOT EXPIRE, cast them early. Get a ranger and cast the heal over time on all members, it will stay will you the entire 40 waves. Revive (cleric skill) is a must. Most importantly: when there is one enemy remaining - just pass until all of your characters are back to full hp/mp. You should regen about 60 hp and 20 mp per turn just from the ranger skill and item passives. Use benediction to remove curse.

Extremately good tip for your cleric! The Litany of Pain applies debuffs on your enemies if you use armor/maces that have them! So, if you equip the cleric with only 10% chance of insta-kill armor and stuff, it will have 90% chance of killing every foe (but bosses) when it uses Litany of Pain! And theres stuff that gives you 20% chance of stun, equip 4 of them in your cleric and then he will have 100% stun chance using Litany of Pain!

I got lucky with the Legendary drops, so my Ranger and Mage have Boundless Energy (100% HP & Mana refill post-battle), my Cleric has Hydraskin Cloak (50% of same), and my Rogue has Minotaur Horn (30% of same). Main level farming is a cakewalk and the only thing to give me a problem was the Pandora's Box I tried. Not doing that again in a hurry...

your game is perfect for tablets!! why are not you in the kongregate arcade!?!?!?!!? I've been playing on the dolphin browser, but it can't be played offline, so it sucks. you could do your own android app instead if they are not putting you in the kongregate app!!!

After playing this for 2 years, I'm still stuck with one question: How did all these different types of enemies choose their level of residences without fighting among themselves. -.- I sure like to find one level where there are only treasures and dead bodies...

Doomed Hero’s Walkthrough (plus so everyone can see)
Barbarian – intimidate, reckless fury, whirlwind, brutality, max damage and 35 quickness (through the right combination of gear).
Cleric – revive, anoint, purify, wrath, high endurance and max quickness (46+). If there’s not enough speedy heavy armour, restart.
Warrior – inspire, resolve, leadership, high endurance and min quickness (10-).
Ranger – healing lore, nature’s balm, pin, vitality, max damage and 44 quickness.
Max health gen, power gen and health drain. Nature’s balm is good for this. Leave one enemy alive to heal through passing turns. Make sure intimidate, reckless fury, nature’s balm and inspire are all active on your barbarian before landing the final blow. ALWAYS land the final blow with your slow warrior, that way your speedy cleric will lead every wave. Anoint barbarian, hit as many as possible with whirlwind. Stun whatever is left with ranger.

Is Pandora's box meant to give worse weapons than the legendary lure? I killed six legendary simultaneously on level 16 and all I get are a couple of items that could be dropped by anything? I want my 60k gold back.

it's probably the developers of the 'game' that give those down thumps for every comment that doesn't praise them to heaven. Should've just make a game that works then.

I know its no record or anything, but I got to wave 55 w/ Cleric/Warrior/War Golem front row. Archer/Conjurer in the back. Give warrior shield and concentrate solely on end. He doesnt need to be powerful especially w/ the skill that will kill enemies outright. Ranger is key since he gives everyone regen based on int. Conj/Cler both have revive which is crucial. if u only have 1, what will u do if ur only reviver dies? :) Get items w/ regen(soothing) and vampiric helps as well. PEACE!!

I hope i won't need to visit a shop anytime soon for all the items that'll outclass each other every battle

How exactly is damage reduction calculated? It'd be nice to know the formula or rate or whatever that armor turns into damage reduction.

Doomed heros badge is really hard but here are a few tips... the spells that add bonus's to your heros 'for the remainder of this battle' will be good for all the battles (its as if its ONE LONG battle) unless they die. Power and health regen on items are very important and speed is worthless on this one. At the end of each battle, leave the weakest enemy alive and pass until your heros restore health and power. Conjuror is good to fill empty slots, helps to heal heros and a nice shield for all heros. Ranger is awsome for his natures balm and attack skills (hail of arrows). Warrior for the boom and the Cleric for the healing ....
