This is one of the best games I have played on Kongregate. The only 5/5 I have ever given and I literally have no complaints. Great game, I had a blast playing :)

@bayne420 : Armor rating is the flat value, it blocks 1:1 with attack rating, so it's best for small or rapid-fire values. Percent reduction and Reflection are best for huge flat values, since they only affect the damage being done. Theoretically, they would be strongest with a lowest armor rating, but then you risk a strong monster killing you in one hit, or several monsters focusing you down. If you plan to use the theoretical strongest value of the percentages, I recommend focusing A LOT of points into endurance.

Y'know, when you're just playing through for the badge and stuff, you don't really think about what you're fighting, but if you take a second to look at the picture you notice some of the enemies are pretty creepy looking, like, if you put them in some kind of horror movie you'd probably jump.

Indeed, 3 Rangers and 1 Cleric make a great party. All the other classes are largely redundant. Just give your Rangers the Piercing Shot and Pin skills, always prioritize enemy spellcasters (a.k.a. "Geek The Mage First") and you will have no difficulties with this game.

If you have a ranger you can just give everyone nature's balm at the end of a battle so they regain their health and you will always be able to start your next battle with full stats

Hey, this is a really old game. If you don't like it because it's not your type of game, then just go find another game to play.

@vader14d -- This is your typical Dungeon Crawler RPG type game. Form your desired party and read the ingame instructions.

this game is awesome, however im surprised to find my safe of 3 months intact.
not a good surprised: for some reason ALL loot items are gone from my inventory and my characters are naked armor/weapon wise.

the gorgons petrify needs to use more energy, my entire party was stunned by it 4 turns in a row, and the gorgon still had enough energy to use his poison claws to kill my cleric and mage, and then use petrify a fifth time.

For the God knows how many time-th, Godfall will not be the next game coming out. The next game would be Chronicles. Garin is working on that now. Godfall will follow Chronicles.

Dex does not do anything for melee fighters except for Rogues with dagger. Daggers gain damage from both DEX and POW attributes. I always make my rogues pure DEX so that I can equip him with bows or crossbows early on when he's still squishy then switch to dagger later on.

Muspell you can also make the rogue use cripple (reduces target speed to 0), then use overwhelm, which helps a lot when trying to attack powerful enemies. Rogues can also use "sap strength" which works very well against bosses.

Did anyone else make a ridiculous team with the custom portraits? My team was Scooby-Doo, Chuck Norris, Papa Smurf, and Seth Rogen XD

A good party in my opinion is warrior/cleric/ranger/rogue.
Warrior for cleave and overwhelm, cleric for heal and anoint, ranger for hunter prowess (ALL legendary creatures are considered as deep creatures), pin and swiftness (make it easier for the warrior to use overwhelm) and, finally, the rogue is here for good damage on any enemy and/or insane poison damage (with poisoncraft ability and a venomous dagger, you can easily poison an enemy for 50% of its base health)

Reflect returns the damage done to your character by the % you have. Generally, it's not that powerful because the enemies have high hp (1000+) and does a small amount of damage (when compared to their hp pool, like say, 200 damage) while your characters (except chars with endurance builds... but who does that?) usually have a small amount of hp (200~ish) while dealing large amount of damage compared to their hp pool(500 damage~ish). The enemy damage also gets reduced by your char's armor. It's not that much useful in den campaigns but in survival, it will speed up your killing time.
