how to win almost every battle:
make a praty of 4 rouges
each one of them got to have a quickness level over 65
each one need the skills "hide" and "sneak attack"
carrying only daggers or swords
better to have a heatlth and a mana potion per each
battale starts:
because of each of your characters got more than 65 quickness all of them will attack first
at the first turn hide all of your characters
the monsters wont be able to attack so theyll pass or do a passive skill
when its your turn again-sneak attack with each one and if you got a right buff and equip-a sneak attack wiil kill a monster immideatly
buuf:
raise only dex and str-its assantial for this way of winning
potions:
this way of winning requiers allot of energy(your energy wiil run out in about 3-5 battales) so youll need alot of potions

You can also buy an emporium badge once you get there, the star shaped thing. Then you don't have to wait until you get the purple scroll to get to the shop.

I agree with dryfclr5, it seems better than Chronicles in sort of a retro kind of way--however I do like how you can switch your party members in Chronicles.

There needs to be a slightly altered loot scheme for the 1st level on standard and hard because too often I find myself with no weapons. Also there should be something stopping boss levels to miraculously have all of the elite creatures of the floor (e.g. the cultist boss being the engine, two chosen, and three protectors).

I really don't like this game.. just have to play to get the 2008 award :/ my rogue cannot attack, and it's like most fights just get more difficult, faster than I get better, soo.. Imo, this game is boring and worthless..

For anyone who chooses to ignore the creature who asks you to clear out a dungeon lend up regretting it. He provides you with some excellent equipment.

@Firechanter I tried his build on Extreme and got horrendously owned, true 3 rangers is a mighty damage output but your single-Cleric means that you are going to have to continually spam heal on your Cleric to keep up the front line, however if say the enemy has a high damage AoE ability:ex. Troll Spear Lunge injuring several of your units to a near critical health forcing you to trade one Ranger for a Cleric (even Heal All won't provide enough and if you tech into it the Cleric becomes too squishy, and Ranger HoT is not as enough in the gorier battles) and so on until your backline becomes a farce. I highly suggest for Extreme that you follow the true and tried way of 2 meat-shield Clerics and 2 ranged high-damage output classes, also be prepared to have party members die ALOT so if you find an instant escape item keep it despite better loot and put it on your high-damage units so you can at least preserve units or prevent loss.

i put a message in a couple of months ago and i have a negate 3 on it i explained how my combo works and it seems good to me and i have a question i dont want to waste time playing chronicles since everyone says its bad but y is it bad

the latest monster's den game from munstrum is SOOOO SOOO SOOO much better than the earlier ones. I love the combat mechanics

Since chronicles is still armoragames exclusive and I don't own an armorgames account, I'll just post my feedback here. The new game mechanics in chronicles are great and I loved them (though a bit sad that some of my favorite skills are heavily nerfed). The only thing I find bad is that when I restart a campaign, the enemies posses the same level as my characters so it becomes difficult during the low levels. Other than that, can't wait for it to be up in kongregate.
