this game is awesome, however im surprised to find my safe of 3 months intact.
not a good surprised: for some reason ALL loot items are gone from my inventory and my characters are naked armor/weapon wise.

the gorgons petrify needs to use more energy, my entire party was stunned by it 4 turns in a row, and the gorgon still had enough energy to use his poison claws to kill my cleric and mage, and then use petrify a fifth time.

For the God knows how many time-th, Godfall will not be the next game coming out. The next game would be Chronicles. Garin is working on that now. Godfall will follow Chronicles.

Dex does not do anything for melee fighters except for Rogues with dagger. Daggers gain damage from both DEX and POW attributes. I always make my rogues pure DEX so that I can equip him with bows or crossbows early on when he's still squishy then switch to dagger later on.

why is hardcore only +25%im pretty sure being at 49999 points and dieng and getting game over is worse than no power regen

Muspell you can also make the rogue use cripple (reduces target speed to 0), then use overwhelm, which helps a lot when trying to attack powerful enemies. Rogues can also use "sap strength" which works very well against bosses.

Did anyone else make a ridiculous team with the custom portraits? My team was Scooby-Doo, Chuck Norris, Papa Smurf, and Seth Rogen XD

A good party in my opinion is warrior/cleric/ranger/rogue.
Warrior for cleave and overwhelm, cleric for heal and anoint, ranger for hunter prowess (ALL legendary creatures are considered as deep creatures), pin and swiftness (make it easier for the warrior to use overwhelm) and, finally, the rogue is here for good damage on any enemy and/or insane poison damage (with poisoncraft ability and a venomous dagger, you can easily poison an enemy for 50% of its base health)

Reflect returns the damage done to your character by the % you have. Generally, it's not that powerful because the enemies have high hp (1000+) and does a small amount of damage (when compared to their hp pool, like say, 200 damage) while your characters (except chars with endurance builds... but who does that?) usually have a small amount of hp (200~ish) while dealing large amount of damage compared to their hp pool(500 damage~ish). The enemy damage also gets reduced by your char's armor. It's not that much useful in den campaigns but in survival, it will speed up your killing time.

Lokyar, the mage's armor spell is incredibly useful in survival mode (40% wtf) and it also combo for a warrior mage build who uses a sword (they can survive in close range fights thanks to armor). The cleric passives are incredibly useful once you get decent levels and very very useful for survival mode. In higher levels, a cleric whose build should be all int does extreme damage with smite especially against undead. Your party just sounds incredibly weak to me (bad items and you don't know how to do a good build) so that's why I think you got defeated by the gorgon. A legendary fight is supposed to be challenging and it is... but it's not impossible. I've encountered a gorgon at lvl 2 once and I managed to beat it. It's usually better to fight them last, saving a healing shrine for a legendary fight. Also, if you're finding it hard, don't be prideful and use the easy setting. Easy setting also do not have any death penalties. Just RTFM.

So i completed campaign obviously not hard but i got one of those random companions and he hasnt died after 3 floors, does the random companions stay around longer/forever after campaign is done?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Protip: Neophytes need full Power to sacrifice themselves. A good way to beat them is to drain power (Power Siphon and and whatever else that can be used to drain power).

Wait... I managed to beat the monsters inside a pandora box, and the only thing i got was a PURPLE item and some green items?
C'mon, pandora box is way harder (and expensive) than legendary lure, it should give a better reward, not a single purple item...

A third of the skills on each class I chose were utterly useless(armor and melee spells on mage? Seriously?) and both of the Cleric's passives are stupidly ineffective(who's still using smite by Level 5?). And it may just be the one I ran across, but Legendary creatures are absurdly impossible. Gorgon stun-locked my entire team(occasionally missing Warrior because of 21% stun resist) until everyone except my warrior was dead. There's difficulty and then there's "You lose, go play something else". The death penalty is arbitrary and potentially game-ruining, especially when an unlucky shot at the start of a fight can instantly ruin any chance of victory, and could easily be replaced with something like cutting your gold by some percentage.
The basis is good but the implementation leaves something to be desired. Oh, and next time include an explanation of what conditions are. I had no idea what Curse was for the longest time.

I love this game, but I couldn't help but notice just now, when purchasing a unique item at the shop just now, the shop keeper offered to buy it from me for more then I just sent. So if I so wanted I could sell it back to him and make a profit.

well it's not bad but there are better games out there on Kong, it's just whether you like this sort of game. still fun to play though!

@sdshadow: your passion for this game is quite apparent but you have got to admit there are way better balanced games than this giant pos. i love rpgs and the sorts but this game?! drug wars for the TI-85 calculator is better.

This is one of the best free games that i ever played. @ Middlefinger38: if you don´t like to equip and compare items you should play a shooter and not a dungeon crawler...
I play now a solo (only one character - a cleric) and i have beaten the boss at level 9 on the easy difficulty, i now try the next harder setting.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
wow this game is crap. the inventory and the shear amount of time you deal with equips is stupid because using recommended aren't the best choices. that means more time figuring out whats best. on top of that as soon as you're done and battle... WHAT?! you mean i have more better equipment? again?! wtf?! how is this game on the best of 2008 quest. 1/5

I had lots of fun naming my team after my favorite TV characters. (Spock, Saavik, T'Pol, and Daniel Jackson) Then I started playing the game and decided that it was fun too.

Psych is indeed amazing.
Also, was wondering, what does it mean when on some 'Unique' items it says By: someone did they customize an item or something? How does that work?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I want to know does anyone here actually use the default names and portraits? When I found you could make it custom I immediately made SG-1, a Psych team (Shawn, Gus, Juliet, Lassie) and a Justice League :P no Aquaman, Because "Aquaman sucks..."
