anyway, i still think that melee attackers like 2H-weaponed warrior and Rogue need a boost..
When my team of 1 Warrior (Endurance), 1 Cleric (endurance), 1 Cleric (Int.), 1 Mage (Int.) fight the boss of Lv50.
Quickness 89 Cleric, Cast Anoint on Mage
Quickness 79 Warrior, Cast Inspire
Quickness 74 Cleric(Int), Cast Litany of Pain (Deal around 900 damage to all enemies)
Quickness 68 Mages, Cast Electrical Storm (Deal around 2700 Damage to all enemies)
After these
Only the boss have the chance to attack me once, all his teammates Died at this moment before they can do anything
i bet that a team with rogue cannot be such efficient
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
excuse me, but whats your lvl?
everyone can do thousands damage after lv30....
have you compared your rogue with rangers and mages with similar level and equipment?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@lhtsang you're just an idiot, who the hell uses hide? its not that useful unless your rogue sucks like hell....
It's best suggested that you just use one of each class. One support and the rest offense...
Mine is Tank Warrior (dual) that has end and str, can kill and have others; Damage Rogue; Int Cleric for healing and offense; Wiz for AOE and Damages. Getting there quite quickly...
Damaging rouge is powerful, i bet you put no points into end that's why he died... My Rogue can do up to 1k damage, and hasn't died since like really really early on... for about 10 lvls from 12 to 22 my cleric died once...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ok if u mean a warrior is supposed to stand in the front to protect others, than how about the rogue?
when i use rogue, even i use hide to protect him in the first round, usually he can get killed in the second round...
this setting is making rogue un-playable.
in addition, a warrior can only protect teammates with a shield (shield wall)
so i said that, the skill which boost warrior cannot be armed with shield...
this make attacking warrior playable (with 2H weapon), now, i believe that MMOST formation which can break impossible level are something like this
1st. Warrior
2nd. Cleric OR warrior
3rd. Cleric
4th. Ranger OR Mage
Rogue and attacking warrior is totally unplayable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i like to use two rangers and a cleric and a warrior for that reason, the cleric can play the part of a warrior if need be, or boost the warrior, or cast magic up front, the warrior up front with the cleric balances things out, the two rangers in the back with some poison arrows and the kick ass hall of arrows move, you got yourself a winning team, the only hard part is you need to watch the endurance damage ratio closely, watch that right though and you're in business
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The idea of upping the bonus of melee attackers isn't really a good idea. melee people are supposed to be in the front - they serve as walls for the attackers in the back, as melee peeps have done forever. who goes out first in a fight, a ranger or a warrior? warrior, with a ranger supplying supportive fire from behind, in the comfort of knowing that someone is in front of them keeping the enemies back. The enigma of a warrior being some god on a battlefield is much more fiction than reality, they were merely there to ebb the flow of enemies.

Hardest of Core
Dude! You just completed the Hardest of Core achievement in Monsters' Den and won the Hardest of Core badge and 60 points!
yeah that took way too much time to complete...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Melee attacker also suffer from another disadvantages...
Some dangerous enemies which cast spells which attack multi targets usually stand at the back...
Our melee attackers need to take out all enemy which stand in the front which may be quite hard to kill... before they can attack those dangerous enemy hiding at the back..
So they deserve those bonus i listed below
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i think its not balanced enough..
Melee attackers need some more bonus!
Melee attackers easily dead because they stand in the front..
if i put too many points on endurance, their damage will be too low comparing with Ranger and Mages
if i put too many points on Endurance, they will easily dead because they stand in the front..
i think that
Rogue should be given a bonus that 50% of attack on them will miss
Warrior should be given a bonus that 30% damage resist is automatically given since the begining of the battle (which is a skill, that cannot be used with a shield.... so that warriors which use shield wall to protect allies cannot be stack with this skill which will make them overpowered.)

about the market/shop aspect, maybe it should be like this:
we should clear the level thoroughly(100% clear and explored) then a shop will appear on the room w/ the boss. there we can buy stuff, may be something that will increase our stats permanently.potions, well we have them all over the dungeons, well sell it more than we use it, well it is for me anyway. please give you opinion
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I agree with Witmonger, some kind of vendor where you could buy potions ect. would be great. Don't really know about a skill tree for each class, but it's an interesting idea.. ;)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
another suggestion:
we should be able to have skill trees e.g. mage skills=
fire->burn, etc
ice->freeze,etc
and so on
and alos have set bonuses,e.g.
stalker set=when completed, user has a bonus 10% to lethality
etc
wat do you guys think?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It feels really weird throwing away so much loot and not being able to sell anything. An economy system (or at least basic shop somewhere on every level) would make it more interesting. I agree more classes and types/groups of monsters would too.
All that aside, it certainly had me addicted for a long time.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well,it's ok,the drawings are amazing, but the fact you don't get to move around literally with the arrows or the letter movement kinda kills me.But still and easy 5/5 from me.

Hardest of Core
Dude! You just completed the Hardest of Core achievement in Monsters' Den and won the Hardest of Core badge and 60 points!
View all badges.
That = rediculous time.. but nevertheless generally easy.. for those wondering did it with a pure endurance cleric out front n centre, and 3 pure dex rangers out back ;) worked a treat..
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not the best... It had great potentional, but you had WAY to much loot, andt. needs more classes. A number 2 would be good. Needs more skills. 3/5 for repetiveness and overloo

Finally gained my Impossible badge!
Took a damn long time, but worth it.
Great game!
Final score @ 50 (start of) : 100843 points.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
well i liked the game...but the impossible badge just makes me want to shoot myself...haha...i think perhaps the eliminating of at least one item slot would make it better though..that way there will only be about 8 minutes of equiping between each battle instead of 10 :) haha
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Garin if you make a monster den 2 or somthing similar please dont have so much loot...or you can add arrows that can indicate if gear is better or not..but great game 4/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
MadGod: I think it means that when he's hit, he deals more damage back to the guy who hit him. E.g. if he takes 50d, then he reflects 54d to the attacker. However, this doesn't prevent your guy taking that 50d.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You know, I'm starting to think that 1 cleric and any 3 of another class is sufficient. Done it with rangers, mages and rogues. Fast and fun.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Too much loot! The game is fun but why does it throw so much loot at you? It becomes such a chore having to compare new loot to what you already have equipped, then destroying unwanted items. loot should be replaced by gold which you can spend at the item shop between levels. This would keep the no of items under control plus give the player more control.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
StrikerX22, the idea of the game isn't to collect EVERY little item in the game. If it was then you'd have a town to sell stuff and whatnot (which was what I was waiting for on my first play through). When the player gets to level two and sees that there is no town, they'll figure out that it's not a care bear "Everyone Goes Back To Town All Happy!" game.
If you don't like it don't play it. No one is forcing you to play it. :P
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Honestly, just a stupid game. Just because it has some decent quality doesn't justify its high rating.
And how nice for the beginners to be overwhelmed with countless items only to have to discard when you suddenly get too many if you ignore them. I mean seriously, did the maker even play it?
Other than all that, it's just boring, yes, for an rpg.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Basic, but fun. Reminds me of two old games, Fates of Twinion and Shadows of Yserbius. Worth the few hours of gameplay.
