I love this game. Very simple game with very good and fastpace game play. Lots of upgrades!! Actually maybe a little too many upgrades and it gets a little frustrating sometimes since you need to clear your bag and equip your team after every battle... But if you like old school dungeon rpg, you will love this.

If you have played Book of Dread, you can easily get impossible badge with your own strategy. and if not, see my team for reference. /// Cleric (2end / 1int) revive, heal all / two Rangers (all dex) hail of arrows, focus, envenomed arrow / Mage (all int) Electrical storm /// First, set quickness more than 65(66 is enough. Do not think about cleric's quickness. he is just tanker) If you do so, you can move faster than almost everything. Then use hail of arrows x2 + Electrical storm. Enimies will be all deleted or remain 1 or 2. This party can beat all the boss enemies in 1 turn or 2 turns.

I do not agree 4 cleric is easy. (Of course you do not die, it is stable. But your attack is low, it takes much time) And strongly agree with dungeon clear process. Until you set all items, you should fight many times. But if you become strong enough, you don't have to fight.

Ah come on, it made me go through the boss as my third battle...on hardcore. :( At least I don't have that much to replay...

"'The beasts will not defile this place for much longer. We shall make certain of it,' she growls, hefting his weapon.".... Tranny? TRANNY!!!!! Seriously, get it fixed like my cat will be.

if you have a ranger, and you want to use 'force of nature'(where the ranger 'throws' the blade for 3x dam) - would it be more useful to raise their strngth or intellect?

I love all the different strategies for the impossible badge. All of 'em seem to work pretty great. I'll throw mine in the ring anyway: four rogues! If you keep your quickness above 61, you're almost faster than anybody. So in easy fights, with three enemies or less, just smack 'em around with Poison and Create Opening. In battles with four or more bad guys, have everyone hide on the first turn, and then, next turn, everybody dies! Simple and oddly satisfying.

I am in level 54 and didn't get the badge yet... anyone has any tips for me? Anywhere I must go, or somewhere I must click... ?

Congratulations! You just won the Hardest of Core Badge and 60 points!
Huzzah! I went in with: fighter which pumped pure end, rogue which pumped pure dex, cleric with 1 end/2 int each level, and mage with pure int. The rogue died maybe 6 times, the cleric once, and the mage maybe once.

dunno why, but the only thing i miss from the next one...is the move anywhere from anywher...like your at the begining and you want to move to the boss(after you have seen him) so instead of you constant clicking on every single room, you move right to him.

Made it to level 38 in hardcore mode, then died in a very uneven battle, this game is fun and addicting, and well coded in my opinion, but seriously, it's like throwing the dice, it's a gamble every-time. No way to get back the hours I put into it, no "impossible" badge for me. I'm done.

Very good game, made me mad about the badges needing certain difficulties, but oh well.
My team: Warrior (Tank), Rogue (Melee damage), Mage (duh), and Ranger for Healing as well as damage.

mage, warrior, cleric, ranger then you are godly: warrior as tank, and cleric as healer, ranger as physical dmg, and mage as spell dmg perfect combination if you want to win this game

The impossible badge was relatively easy if you followed the Cleric strategy above. Although at times the relentless equiping of items gets tedious, still a very fun game. 5/5

+ if you think the first two badges need to be for "beginner" difficulty AND HIGHER. It's crazy to not get the badges because you're playing on a harder difficulty!
