okay this is a good game, but their is one major draw back, having to laboriously delete 30+ items every few battles.

ummm the kill corrupter badge did not work fo me i beat it on beginner and won but i did not get the badge...should i complain..im confused

@lazymushroom22 There is. Right next to the Individual Retreat, there's a button called "Group Retreat." Click that. You can always just refresh the game, as well.

this is a very repetitive game, when I got to level 20 I thought, there are still 30 levels for the impossible badge, now that I got, I never will play this game again

I played Book of Dread first. Then found this one. My BIGGEST beef? No shops. My second... not being able to move around as in Book of Dread. But other than that, a GREAT game.

Wow this game is awesome :D Perfect for people that love magic/medieval/anything to do with swords and magic. I personally think this is a good game even though it doesnt have a sprite for the characters 5/5 love it

lol i actually made my cleric tank get as much life steal as possible he just has to worry that he doesnt get killed before he attacks himself to drain it all back :p
further i have 3 mages wich mainly use crimson prison n lighting and there all pure int
seems to work now get those damm badgies!

What is with the all cleric teams that is just not a good setup. First you are going to collect purples off bosses and other good gear which you can't use because all your characters use the exact same gears meaning you have far worse equipment than a more normal party. Second your array of skills is going to be dismal classes like rogues are awesome damage dealers which you won't be able to match.

Help for the impossibel bagde (its how I did): The first 30 levels is the hardest, focus damage and endurance - fifty fifty, and reduce accuracy and kill chance is the best. At level 30+ weapons with kill chance (7%) and reduce accuracy (20%) is very common and you can easy get 80% to reduce accuracy. A weapon/armor with 20% reduce accuracy is the best no matter how strong the other item is!

I've got the HARD and IMPOSSIBLE badges and now I HAVE to replay the game (on beginner) to get the EASY and MEDIUM badges... doesn't make sense, does it? As if going through 50 leves weren't enough I have to redo the first 9. Ok.

okay... so i see that people have agreed taht we should be allowed to get credit for getting points in beginner, but i just finished the game on standard and got nothing.h ow is this possibly fairer than not getting credit for playing beginner and getting credit for playing harder modes??

I officially hate this game i was on level 43 goin for impossible acheivement and then i get to a boss level that stunned all my guys and mauled my guys and now i dont even have my saved progress!!! WTF!

I was very upset to see I do not earn the corruptor distruptor badge just because I am on medium and not beginner difficulty. I certinly would not have kept playing if I would have noticed that.

Get:
1 Warrior (put all skill points on endurance, he will be a your damage soaker first line of defense)
3 Mages (put all skill points on intelligence, and be sure to get the skills electrical storm first, then cosmic prison. As for the boss "the corruptor, keep freezing him with your mages and be sure to use the pump-up potions before your final battle )

Check out garin's blog, Monstrum. There is a third game in the pipeline, Monster's Den:Godfall, although it has no release date yet. It looks fantastic, with lots of new content and great artwork. I'm still hooked on the original game, despite having made it to level 50 hardcore, because there's so many different character and weapon combos to try out. I'm not feeling impatient. It's well worth the wait. These games are superb.

Brilliant game, really enjoyable and interesting. Great character classes, skills, weapons, armour, etc. So many decisions to be made at every turn! I want to play this to the end before playing Book of Dread. 5/5 and favourite.

Don't forget that you can go down a level and revive all characters and restore health and power to full, once per level, with no penalty!
