good game. main complaint is you spend too much time changing around your equips. also once you learn the ins and outs it gets too easy

I believe the equipment design is quite good, this is just an opinion mind you. It takes a while at the start but after a while it becomes more varied and it's a lot easier. Besides when you first get the equpment it does tell you what it's got and whether it's better or worse than the things already equipped by your team.

It's a fun game, but it's really time consuming to try to figure out which equipment is best. Equipping yourself properly takes more effort than I really want to commit to a flash game. Get to the action!

Maybe I can't find the info but the weighting or value system is not clearly defined for character abilities. Thus not well informed when trying to decide which equipment to use or get rid of. Which categories are most important/what is the actual math for how the different categories of abilities relate? Does the level of an equipment item make any difference in its performance or just a reminder where it was acquired?
Also, seems quite unrealistic to allow characters to carry so much extra equipment, especially for hardcore levels.
And, having to go through rooms that have already been discovered and are empty is kind of tedious.
Still, fun to play. (I wish I'd read more carefully though before starting in Standard Mode because I didn't get any badges for beating the Corrupter and the points cannot go towards the Hardcore badge either!)

What I really don't like about this first one is the fact that I can only click on adjacent rooms; in the second that has been fixed but it's so irritating when you're going past a room with the little healing things in because the window always comesu up; is there some way to get rid of the problem in this version or was that what the second one was for?

@bluezepher:the conjurour is in the second only.thats 1 reason and also more charicters, more programming, more complexity.

I've decided to do the impossible badge 10 levels a day, I'm on level 29 right now.. But.. Something bothers me, are there legendary monsters and double-bosses in this version?..

Same goes for weapons, 50 damage, 10% stun > 60 damage) depending on your position, if your a layed back fighter with a very low chance of loss, attack is better, if your a survivalist and need all the extra help you can get, stun, lethality and such are your best friends.

My strategy: Worrior,cleric,ranger,rogue..
Only equip bucklers on rogue, only equip tower shield on cleric and worrior (Never use 2H weapons), and only value things like stun or lethality, very slightly, over armor.. (10 armor, 10% stun > 45 armor)

Wtf?.. My thief has -10% poison resistance when he doesn't have any poison resistance equips on, and then when he does, it's still 10% less than whatever the equip gives!

hmmm so is the badge done on hardcore only or just any? Cause the badge description says lv 50 but the game description says impossible badge: play on hardcore?

I can't get the game to load, the ad plays then I just get a blank screen. Had no problems with Monsters' Den Book of Dread. Anyone else had this problem?

and @Cyclone: u have a PARRYING dagger equipped to ur warrior, not a real dagger. parrying daggers are offhand items, like a shield. like TRYER said, just equip a sword on the warrior's other arm. Or, if u want an axe, then unequip the parrying dagger and then equip the axe.

A great game, but the 'impossible' badge is a test of anyone's patience. I made it second time round after dying on level 43 the first time. Why anyone would want to play on after level 50 is beyond me..yet seemingly people do.

a very etertaining rpg game the only problem is while you are equipting items it dosent change the apperance of your charicter..4/5
