got a bug: when an enemy died cause of a poison tick the portrait grayed out and the cross right over it indicates that they are dead but the game handles them like normal with 1hp left

Burnacid> Where did you get the idea that you have to kill the group that killed you?! Simply equip your spares and kill something else. Yes you lose items, but you can get better items in a level anyway.
BTW retreat does take one _full_ turn, meaning _everything_ gets to move before the retreat happens, not just one thing.

I originally gave this a 4/5 - normal encounters were tough, but as long as you had a Scroll the bosses weren't a problem. With the new balance changes, it's definitely a 5/5. Excellent work!

Amilir, you are saying nonsense things...you can't compare an rpg ( when you get stronger killing monsters ) with THIS rpg ( when you get stronger going down one floor... )

problem...whenever i take an item or loot or whatever, i go to the character inventory, its not there. the party inventory doesn't have it. where do i equipt the stuff?

i am not saying when u die u should get better items and stuff.. im saying u shouldn't lose items... maybe start lower hp or something.. but not lose the only items that give u a chance...

easy is to easy but losing items when u lsoe on a hard setting is stupid.. it makes it EVEN HARDER to beat hard... and i started when hard was the only setting

Good point! Every time you die you should get BETTER items and full healing so you can beat it easier!

If you don't want to lose items use easy. You get to LIVE if you die on normal or easy, which is a lot more than most rpgs. If the only level was hardcore would you complain about dying if you lose? Or more likely you would just complain it's too difficult? Not being able to beat it first try on a difficulty higher than easy does NOT mean it's too hard, it means you need to get better.

The game gets boring fast. burnacid is right, how is weakening the player supposed to help him get past a particular battle? In all honesty though, i dont see how you can lose unless you choose skills/characters unwisely. Warrios = worthless, Clerics = uber warrior if you put all in str, uber healer if all in int, mages = pwn mass dmg. Damage reflection items are boss. 200%+ reflection on my front guy = let the bodies hit the floor. fun tho while it lasted 4/5

It's kind of like a a graphical version of Wizardry.. and for some reason, I keep thinking it has a Diablo feel. I ended up beating it with two warriors and a cleric in the front row and a ranger in the back row. Hail of arrows with a bow that has effects rocks.
Also, I decided to equip my best quickness guy with boots that let him flee instantly. That way, if I goofed up during a battle, at least one of my characters got away (so I didn't lose items) and then I could heal or use a shrine.

I love it. potions during battles would be nice. and to discard items in inventory, drag them onto the x on bottom right.

The new beginner mode makes it so you don't lose any items when your party is defeated. Create a new party and try again on this difficulty if you're having problems. :o

i like the game but it so stupid how if u lose.. u lose GOOD items that will make u lose even more? now im stuck in a never ending loop of losing good items cuz i cant run from the battle.. now i jsut hate the game cuz of the "omg you lsot lose some more"

MAJOR BUG!!!!!!!
just by pressing the inventory sort buttons a couple of times, all my inv turned into a robe, which happened exactly when I moved all my warriors equip into the inv to reequip them, so I was left w/ warriors that only had robes to wear.

Fix it! It keeps freezing when I kill all of the enemies. Im really annoyed because I like RPG's and this one is getting good rep, when it works I will rate higher but for now 1/5.

100/5 best RPG played in a LONG LONG time. Some of the things reminded me of World of Warcraft. Very detailed list of items, stats, and options ingame. Took me 5hrs and 57mins to complete. Tons of fun. Can't wait for part 2!!!

Really fun and cool game, it's a bit hard to get started off just because the game isn't that well explained. There's quite a bit to it and it just doesn't seem explained enough for most people who're going to play it. I love this game though was quite fun.

I'd like to see some kind of auto-assign tool on the inventory. Also you select a gender for the players but in the battle text they are always referred to as males (e.g. "his sword" never "her sword").

Awesome. Beat the game on normal mode...setup was : 2x Rogue, 2x Warrior. Never died once...Beat the last boss with 1 turn
