finally got all the badges...
1 warrior front and center with all level increases going toward endurance and no care about armor advantages just high armor ratings. if you've played wow you know the strategy using a tank.
3 mage on the back row with all level increases going to intellect and no care about armor ratings but try to find good armor benefits mainly intellect.
skill increases: shield wall and electrical storm. just use electric storm every battle and shield wall and you will go on forever.
tip: skip the first boss and try to get to the first exit as fast as possible so you can get electrical storm and shield wall asap. toward the end i was skipping through levels just to save time and not one battle went bad.

Very good game. I find it a bit repetitive after a few levels, but I'm addicted to it, going for the impossible badge in the next days!

guys the corrupter is a joke, i don't know why people have such problems with it. use 2 rogues and have each one use sap strength,ur rogues should have enough + quickness equipment for both of them to go before the corrupter... 2 sap strengths leave the corrupter with no power so it cant cast the clones

5/5 very good game, very addicting, i've been playing it for the past 4 days haha. I got up to lvl. 51 on hardcore mode but it didn't give me my badge :(

It's a pretty good game overall. The battle system is good for what it is, but the dungeon-crawling screen is a bit plain. Overall, the game could use much more polish, too. Good attempt. 3/5

I had this same problem. It works out that the dark versions of you party take all of your stats including your damage reflection stats. So your dark team does damage to you if you attack.

OK - can't figure out exactly how the corrupter works - sometimes when I attack one of the dark figures I talk almost no damage, sometimes tons. Doesn't seem it matters on which character attacks which but maybe I'm missing something. Got a party of 4 mages . . can't figure out how to beat it when I take more damage than I'm dealing. Must be some logical reason why some attacks reflect damage and some do not.

im not even trying to clear the levels on hardcore anymore, once i see the exit i go for it......................... also , 2 rogues and 2 rangers is amazing, use pin with ur archers and coupe de gras with ur rougues

hardcore difficulty is too easy... it's hard to be defeated with any random character party. And of course lvl after lvl... same sht... it's too annoying. But this game gets 5/5 from me coz it's only flash game and for the flash ame it's awesome!

I do really really like this game! My only complaint is the blur after a fight...it hurts my eyes. I just feel like it could be less harsh maybe? 5/5

Dude! You just completed the Hardest of Core achievement in Monsters' Den and won the Hardest of Core badge and 60 points! Got a bit boring...

Seems all prefers massive shield or healers. I did it another way - one tank in first row, 2 rangers and mage in second. Used ranger's healing on very first levels only. Now on 31 in Extreme and going further, thanks quickness and % to kill

I've had my best luck with a cleric in the front casting heals, holy light, and anoit on a mage. On normal fights, I cast on any mage and electric storm away. For level bosses, I equip one mage with a high damage sword, cast anoit, and use ensorcelled blade on the boss. All of my characters have 70+ quickness (the most important attribute in my opinion).

Alrightly, I got all the badges finally! My most successful team consisted of 2 worriors and a cleric on the front line, with a mage in the back. The entire time on hardcore mode i never lost a battle, and had 100% explore and kill for the first 12 lvls. My secret was items with power regeneration and skills with huge results. Both my worriors did execute each time(instant kill with hit) and my cleric did ferver (200% meele) when not healing or anointing my mage who did the electric shock thing. The skill points went to endurance and strenght at a 2:1 ratio for my front line, and everything to intellect for my mage.
I liked the game, too repetative though....

I have the perfect team!! 4 clerics, one with as most as possible of power regeneration in the back always recovering or giving more power to the others.. I haven't been close to dieing not even once!!

i must say 2 rougues and 2 rangers rock the house with my little PIN & COUPE DE GRAS... ive mopped through 25 levels of hardcore without a problem

about to start on the hardcore badges... not looking forward to it but hopefully it will go a lot faster sinc eim not gunna be clearing out every dungeon floor.

it's funny how many people say this is a WoW loot system when it's actually Diablo.. Blizzard made both WoW and Diablo but Diablo came first.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
ya due to the loot system only droping things that can be used, by using 4 mages u always get something u can use, where as if u use a warrior, u will get heavy light and usable by all armor
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Actually, the mechanics of the game are very closely related to the D&D-inspired "Disciples", and the weapon tiers are very clearly based on World of Warcraft.
Got the Impossible Badge on December 23 with a Warrior (front row) Ranger/Cleric/Mage (backrow) team. Will likely never play this again.

"the weapon and armor types are loosely based on those of runescape. this is a good game."
lol if you think runescape invented this you're way off. ever heard of d&d?

Tedious and buggy, item information frequently gets stuck on display, forcing you to restart the browser to be able to see what is going on.
