Yay finally!

@VT_gamer: On Level 41 now. Same thought. Complete the badge and return to Monsters' Den: Book of Dread for better controls and selling items rather than just destroying them.

After level 20 I only search the exit, and only fight if necessery or I found the boost. 90% of the bosses fallen by my mage's blade without my cleric boost, because I start to put all of my stat points to strength after level 10.

Like Ryel_Ril_Res I used a technique similar to that, COmbos do work perfectly, But I'm still having trouble letting my Cleric hold and be able to use a meelee weapon..And I am truly stumped by it...But I still move on...On Level 7 Now =D

my team was fun
warrior front center, with the shield wall skill
mage cleric mage
full int on the back row
full end on the war
double electric=dead everything.

My second crew is rouge-cleric-ranger in the first row and a mage in the second. I slayed a corruptor on hardcore difficulty without he able to touch us.
In hard battle my rouge boost up the accuraty, and my cleric boost up my mage's damage, after my mage able to slay anybody tough with ensorcelled blade. My ranger also very good with force of nature and a high damage axe.
I think all of the classes are equal, and there are lots of combos.
Very good game 5/5

well mage got a nice punch with the electric storm, I also made good use of invisibility and freezing spell. I think he's a good addition to any squad that wants to "rain" damage on all enemies, where ranger and mage are unmatched at.

oh and after like lvl 20 my cleric was so powerful that potions became worthless and i have like 20 power potions (regular)

i didn't see a need for a mage, most of their attacks imo were pathetic. i got 2 rangers, one with a spear and one with a bow (later i got a crossbow that didn't minus speed) one rogue, and one cleric with a censer. my setup was rogue in the front and middle, ranger with bow-cleric-ranger with spear. pump dex, str, and endurance for rogue, str and endurance for spear ranger, dex and endurance for bow ranger, and intellect and endurance for cleric. i didn't rlly attack with my cleric so i didn't see the need for strength too much.

my crew was cleric, cleric and ranger, mage behind. prefer quickness, don't equip stuff that slows you down. have about 70 quickness. clerics should use their lanterns for healing and Holy Light whenever in tough battle. ranger should have very large lethality. mage maybe ain't the best choice for the crew, but he's good at killing armored units.

you really don't need any special get-up for the impossible badge. the first 10-15 levels are the hardest, the rest becomes easier as you go to the point where you simply kill entire enemy boss and squad before they get a chance to act. here's some tips;

the bad thing about equipment is that it doesn't rise in percentages but only in damage, stat bonus or armor rating. that in my opinion is quite depressing, since upgrading your stuff actually turns into waiting for the same named item but on a higher level. but all in all,I rated it a 5 since its all good.

Here are some possible strategies that worked well for me.
3 mages (intellect), 1 cleric (armor) (cleric in front)
3 warriors (strength, HP), 1 cleric (intellect)
2 rogues (speed), 2 rangers (speed)
4 clerics (1 of them, intellect, rest speed + strength)

There is more than one way to beat this, but one possible strategy, which worked very well for me, is to have 4 clerics. 3 of them do the fighting and stay in the front line, and a fourth stays in the back, doing most of the healing when necessary. For the healer cleric, focus on power generation and intellect. The other clerics, focus on strenght. When choosing your equipment, I would advise going for speed, health regeneration, and drain health. This frees your clerics to attack more often rather than wasting time on healing each other. Speed gives you a chance to eliminate targets that could mess your team up if given the chance to strike before they even get a turn. I would try to go for 66 quickness or more. Prioritize your targets. Doing so will make your battles so much easier. Try having a hit rate of at least 100, that will make it much less frustrating. And finally, don't underestimate holy light's ability to decrease your enemies' accuracy. Hope this helps.

The impossible badge is actually kinda easy, but time consuming. For anyone interested in attempting to go for it, believe me when I say this, the first 10 levels will be the hardest, since you don't have all your spells and you haven't been able to pick up any good equipment. But it gets easier later on...much easier. Hope that's encouraging.

@GeneralSturn - Good strategy for Corrupter if using Rogue, but Rogue is front row with poor armor. The copies are rather stupid -- the Cleric cast Holy Light 4 times. Remove Flickering Flames from Mages; receiving your own attacks is very annoying.

WARNING: please read this when you make it to the Corrupter ( the last boss) use Sap Strength on him: otherwise, hell make clones of your guys and youll lose hope that works (rogues have Sap Strength)

Dude! You just completed the Hardest of Core achievement in Monsters' Den and won the Hardest of Core badge and 60 points!
Got with a classical rolegame party: warrior, cleric, ranger and mage.
My points distribution, per level:
Warrior: 1-2, STR,1-2 END.
Cleric: 2 END, 1 INT.
Ranger: 1 END, 2 DEX.
Mage: 1 END, 2 INT.
Items with quickness up useful for mage and ranger, they can stun poweful enemies or lauch a massive atack first.
Items with health regeneration useful for everybody, and with mana regeneration very useful for cleric (so he can heal always) and for mage (electrical storm).
It's better to fight with all enemies, for collecting the best items possible.
