It's a pretty good game, requires strategy, and most kids don't like that, but I think it deserves a 3.60-4 star, not a 4.32. But , of course, since this is flash site, it attracts a lot of kids, and if kids like a game, they rate 5 star, if they don't like a game, they put 1 star.

If you think your game is gonna get over in hardcore mode (in battle) then immediately close the window. When you play monster's den again it will open the saved game from the battle start (even if you were in the middle of the game) and then if you think that you cant defeat the enemy then you can retreat

I agree with trellos; and my best group so far is a tank with lots of health regen, reflects and absorb, two roguess, one that dpses and has poison damage and the other that heals the group. Also have a cleric with int in the back row.

Censors can be great, I usually always keep em. Better healing, often come with vampiric life drain. Other stuff too. With that you can do a party heal for full health.
But the level based items system is bad and the endlessly pointless dungeons gets tedious sometimes.

Diverse equipment allows you to create a party with identity. My item choices:
- 100% Poison and Stun Resist is more important than Armor Class.
- 14% Vampiric (ring and cloak); save a multiple attack skill to double as a heal.
- Damage Reflection is a misnomer; it doesn't reduce incoming damage; achieve resists first.
- Shields in the front row for armor class
- Longbows shooting first do more damage.
- Censers, quivers, bucklers, daggers, crossbows, axes, and spears are instant discards. Easier loot sorting.

I'll give you the variables, you set up the equation: A warrior with "Overwhelm", a mage with "Electrical Storm", a rogue with "Create Opening", and a cleric with "Anoint" :)
By level 10, I already had enough HP regen and quickness buffs, all I needed to storm down to level 50 was a couple "instant retreat" items.
This one is a sweet tactical game that brought memories of the good old Eye of the Beholder feeling. Congratulations and heartfelt thanks to its developers for the few hours of pure gaming fun I enjoyed.

Well, this game has sapped up hour upon hour of my life for the past 3 weeks - brilliant game. Yup, it does get a tad tedious after about level 25, but will that stop me from pwning the Hardest Of Core Badge?? Hell no :-P Very awesome game - looking forward to starting the next one...

The corrupter is at level 9. It's a shame that you have to kill it twice for the badges (begginer and hardcore) still farily easy to do, just choose warrior cleric rogue and ranger then unleash hell :D

the corruptor badge is very easy and i think the best movo is a rangers hail of arrows it attacks all enemies 3 times
