I don't understand the whole "number of trimps vs speed of their deployment"
using the coordination 'upgrade' is more of a hinderence than a help. it takes a very long time to produce troops.
If I have 1000 trimps, 500 are working jobs, shouldn't I have 500 available for continuous army power? it seems to only around 15% of your available trimps

Just a tip: The Gorillimp, Snimp and Squimp can still attack you and deal damage even if you OHK the three. The rest will not attack if you OHK them.

Hey nice game! I like the idea. =) But what about the block? He got lost on the way. In the beginning it was really useful. I am now map lvl 24. The enemies attack is at some Sx. I really did what I could do about block and I got it up tp 1.87T. O.o No Effect. I know there is a button to RESET the game. Is it like increasing my production caps in anyway? Most idle game have this feature, but since it runs smoothly without I did not try. Greetings, Stefan.

A buy maximum option would be nice at the gear of the trimp, as when you upgrade it after a while it takes ages to get it to the right level.

a couple things i've thought of that might help this game, auto map replay. now i haven't gotten super far so maybe it's in already? dunno but also the ability to queue more than 1 building at a time would be swole. not instantly build them all, but at least have them queued. and just in like 1 little box that says the current value instead of millions of tiny ones causing lag

My suggestion to improve later game is to add "Trapper" tech to the world 7 map. What this tech would do is allow you to hire trappers, which start off automatically capturing a new Trimp once every minute. Every subsequent world up to level 12 would contain an upgrade node to trappers halving the time it takes them to catch new trimps. By level 12, with all upgrades purchased, each trapper would catch one new trimp every 1.875 seconds. 100 trappers would effectively give the player an additional 53 trimps per second. I feel this would be a major boon to the current population hump that exist past level 8.

400K population and at world 35 and counting. Balance is horrible but workable, at version 7 for most of the weapon and armours, at level 50+... In some sense i wish that the gym would get more upgrades to keep blocking relevant. Plus another upgrade to the resort would be awesome. max workers and current workers is hard to get past about 1/4th without the price being insane. But this game is engaging and i cant wait to see a future version.
Hopefully not 1.0 right off the bat.

Really nice concept but still needs a LOT of balancing out in later stages. By the time I hit world 35 I had 15 coordination books I couldn't read because I had too few trimps. Food production is my worst bottleneck now. Can't get more housing for trimps for lack of food. Can't train more farmers either. At 12k farmers they produced enough food during my 4 hour nap to hire only 100 more. So I got 150k jobless trimps, no food to train them, no food for housing either. 18 unread Coordination books. My blocking is useless too. Even at 400 Gyms+10k trainers it's not even a single percent of my hp/attack. I don't know if the developer is still working on this issues but I hope this numbers help a bit.

I would suggest having Wood and Food appear in some maps (depending on the theme or 'area' perhaps) as you get plenty of metal and gems but nothing else from them.
Also getting upgrades for speed, efficiency, coordination etc. could do with being a little less truly random, as I have 10 unusable coordination upgrades but still produce only one billionth (that's a fraction) of the resources as I find on maps. I put that down to not having enough speed upgrades, or possible that those upgrades not scale enough at higher ranks.

Idk if its a bug or something, but im currently at 131k trimps when fighting. I have 442k trimps breeding when my trimp population is full but when i try to buy coordination, im told I have to expand my territory first. Why is this? I can easily send 262k trimps to battle and still have enough left breeding.

lvl 29 here, up until now i've been flying through and now in both my map and world my trimps instantly die without hurting the enemy, I feel like this has to be a balancing problem as I've now lvled Dagger V1 to lvl 68 and still no progress. Do I have to sit here and wait for my trimps to passively gain metals until I can afford more upgrades?

This One of the best idle games ever, most of them you have to wear your arm out by clicking a lot but this one all u got to do is relax and have fun and the upgrades are Boss!! best idle game ever played!

I am at a spot where I quite literally can't advance, I've spent all my metal and wood on upgrades and I still get one-shotted by the world and the maps. I recycled all my maps and can no longer advance, please update the game further. I was thoroughly enjoying myself up until this point.

small tip for those struggling at level 6: build a bunch of Gyms and make ALL your workers into trainers. You can push your block to meaningful levels still at that level.

@paulthomas - check maps, something better than house is in there, and the "world" gives you WAY over 1b wood, as far as the note about most topping out around world 25, bouncing back and forth with maps has me clearing worlds no problem after zooming through the right maps. should be fine for quite a while

Welp, I got to level 6 and can't progress any further. Have been running the same map about 350-400 times now and haven't gotten a single upgrade book and it's now taking me forever to get resources at this point. Any help here?

Some suggestions: (1) having some way to specify building multiple structures at once is essential. Clicking thousands of times to build traps quickly becomes intolerable. (2) It would be nice to see which maps you've completed. Maybe display unbeaten maps in a different color, and maybe display the number of times a map has been beaten through a mouse-over or something.

The game gets really tough when you need to squeeze the maps for metal in order to get enough HP to push through the later worlds. I'm very close to the end of world 54, and I'm guessing that I can push through a few more worlds if I get to 55, because it unlocks 2 health weapon upgrades.

haha i play in a way where i get ultimate DEF and ATK and health is optional to me, by world 4 i am almost beating the thing while taking no damage XD

There is a problem happening on high levels: you have for example 400hp and the enemy deals 300-500 damage, but you die 100% of the time, which shouldn't be the case.

I'm at shield and dagger level VI, and I got kinda stuck. My trimps instantly die on enemy hit, so I can't move on anyhow. The upgrades cost about 177Sx metal, but the production can't get any bigger than 800B/sec, which is like hella not enough.
Can you fix this somehow, please?
My entire life is my day job and Trimps development right now. The balance is not a simple fix, but it will be better as quickly as possible. Check back in about a week!

This game is utterly fantastic, but I have a few suggestions:
1. Set auto-build for traps ;)
2. A way to display structures, jobs, and upgrades so that I can see them all at once. (Smaller click-boxes)
3. An upgrade for personal effectiveness. (Maybe chopping down trees encourages your Trimps to chop harder and faster since you're there to lead them?)
All that said, Trimps is easily the best V 0.06 game I've ever seen. Thank you for making it!

Add an option to disable loading bars for the building queue, fighting stats, and trapping of trimps in order to improve performance and reduce graphics. I think that is a huge drain on my CPU or something.
