There should be a way to remove un-committed bonuses the player considers at the portal screen (individually, without exiting the portal screen and then going back to it, which removes *all* un-committed bonuses).

Well, it's not a cheating at all. For a tip i can say, that in later stages of game trimps become nearly useless (only for fights), caus with so many efficency (remember, that every time you upgrade this, your bonus becomes 2x higher, when using speedlumber etc gives you only 125% of previous value, and you get speedscience upgrade every 2 maps afaik, so scientists will be useless too) i can produce so many resources. Also this gym patch made my trimps nearly godlike in fight.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Not at all. I think it's entirely possible that with several playthroughs of the game, the compounding benefits could stack up quite substantially. I don't think he's cheating. I think he's played the game a lot.

Sadly i must admit, game ends at zone 500~. I got to place, where i have to wait (194098351236.7 Years) to fullfill my wood storage, and efficency is so overpowered, that i can replace 194098351236.7 Years years to 20 seconds when i chop as a main character. Also i get to NaN block, still trying to get to NaN storage, dmg, make everything NaN ( wonder if i can achieve it with helium or trimps, but will try..). At this point having max 15k trimps assignee at once is too low for me. Being able to set as high as i can would be helpful.

I've beaten the size challenge, and I'm now well passed it. I have the carpentry perk. But in my portal, there's an option to do the size challenge again. As far as I can tell, this option exists, but there's no benefit to completing it again. Does anyone know something I don't?
It might be cool if beating a challenge again offered some enhancement to that challenge (like permanently adding a few levels to it, lowering the helium cost of that perk, or something along those lines).

Oh, and carpentry will really help when you flat out don't have enough trimps to get that next level of Coordination. For me this historically happens around level 35. I simply do not have enough trimps to level up coordination again, and the costs of the buildings is so high, and they contribute so few trimps, that this is where I typically hit the wall and can proceed no further (without it taking days). With carpentry, we should be able to get to wherever our relative walls are, and blow past them, because we now have enough trimps for several more coordination upgrades.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
dgtdgt, yes, carpentry is one of the most useful perks. Motivation should not be overlooked however, because ultimately you'll need fragments to continue to advance, and the only way to get more fragments is with motivation. But yes, carpentry kicks butt. With 5 ranks in carpentry you're getting 16.1 trimps for every 10 you were supposed to get originally, so your estimate of a 70% increase isn't far off. But no, it does not apply to map squares that provide more trimps. Those are altered through another perk.

help!!!!!!! I have just restarted (soft reset) and I can't access to the fight board (world)
therefore I am stuck with barn , shed and huts
please support!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Carpentry has to be one of the most useful perks. Having only 5 ranks provides something like a 75% boost to total housing, which late game is just huge. While I will still have issues getting coordination when close to zone 40, it should at least get me a few more ranks rather than struggling to get it at zone 33.

Would anyone else like to see maps that yield all resource types? Sometimes I want a balanced influx of resources without re-balancing my workers to account for what I'm getting from grinding a single resource map.

With one of the updates between 1.093 and 1.1, the game now starts to become considerably laggy if left open for 10+ minutes. For instance, when opening the bone traders menu, the fade in takes about 10 seconds. All the updating numbers (like amount of resources, battle healthbars, time left to build things, etc) are no longer smoothly counting/moving, and are more jittery. Reactions to mouse clicks becomes delayed a bit, and sometimes gets ignored (like if I click 5 times fast to train 5 hires, sometimes it will only register 4).

Game logic: "That guy just left 10,000 food on the ground! Sweet!" Yes, because one animal can carry what 6-8 barns can't.

Hamidboy, you must still be in a pretty low zone. 1k traps is what you will spend in under 2 combats at zone 35. Also, I don't think most of us have ever had "nothing" to spend our resources on. I think that as you progress you're going to find that the problem is not that you have nothing to spend the resources on, but rather that the price for the next purchase is so damned high you're going to be waiting literal days for that one upgrade unless you portal and go back to the beginning.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
After I gain a lot of resources and have nothing to do with them I buy traps by the hundreds. Now I currently have 1000 plus traps.

Jogger, I'd echo what LucV3 said. If you click export and then copy the text string, that's your save data. You can post it anywhere or send it to yourself in an email, and then can access it from anywhere.

Another great update, and it came rapidly. Your dedication is appreciated by the players. The gymystic upgrade is also very helpful and fun! The updates are so good and coming so fast, that they're almost coming faster than I (a relatively new player) can barely keep up with them. That's commendable and exemplary. You're doing a great job with this game!

Jogger, you can export the save file. No game on kongregate saves to your account. Your saves are either in your cache or on a public/private server from the developer.

i had explorers and the dragimp, but i moved to a new computer, and now i dont have all the data, i still have the old computer but is there a way to maybe have the save on your account and not your computer, and the code would be so long to type in

Suggestion: It would be nice if the perks were moved to a spot lower on the screen, so that we can actually read the alt text for all of them. (On Safari, at least, a good portion of the alt text is cut off.)

So, this is the life of a trimp, Being born, Sex to make more trimps, gets either unpotent or is injured from the rapid breeding, goes to war or is sent to work depending on age/gender, then you either die in battle or die in the mines
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Your Trimps came up with a pretty catchy battle song that got stuck in your head. None of them survived the next fight though, and you can't remember most of it. Life's tough.

I love your game. It´s really fun and since the beta you made out of a rough gem a shiny one :) I like your constant updates and tweaks and I love your idea of the challenge. Its something other Idle games could learn from trimps! Making the 20ths run or so something special in term of gameplay. You can make such cool things with it, I'm looking forward to see more :) keep going with this greatness!

Can you please change the bone trader screen so that it shows up instantly instead of slowing becoming visible? it's sooo annoying
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I would really enjoy a stat screen. So you could see things like but not limited to: How many trimps you've trapped, how many have been breeded, how many have died. how many monsters you've killed and universal stats over all portals (soft resets).

This is a fun way to pass the time and get rid of the people you hate at the same time without having to worry about the law.

@Viernesv Each tier of Shield is worth between 5 and 6 levels of the previous tier, so if you have 13 levels of Shield III then you need 3 levels of Shield IV to get more block.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I get your post now excele :) Block is all you have when you can't mine to stay alive. I spend metal mostly on weapons. Gems are used to buy buildings later in the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Please could you adjust the Bone Trader slightly, so that once you have purchased the special ximps it still shows what they do? It's a small thing, but it would be very helpful for us forgetful people, especially as it can be a while sometimes between finding a special. Great game though :), keep it up <3
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
When you upgrade a Shield it doesn't add to the amount of block you had before? After having Shield III at level 13 I had 1.3B block, but then I upgraded it to Shield IV and only had 619M block... doesn't feel incremental :(
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can live without the building progress bar, but the new button's flashing effect is distracting. I wouldn't mind it getting tweaked again.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Cornoth, the reason to upgrade the weapons in this case is because while you are putting resources into your Z4 greatsword, it won't be able to keep up as you continue to rise in zones. The damage it will do will become so small compared to the enemies that it's ridiculous. Meanwhile, all the resources you're putting into it will eventually be lost completely when you finally do upgrade the greatsword. That's why most of us try to keep our upgrades maxed, but with only a level or two in each one of them.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
either your totals on the attack and stuff is messed up or there is no reason to upgrade the weapons to the next set. My Z4 Greatsword lvl 5 is doing more damage than my Z5 battleaxe
