This game wont last.. The offline mode is pretty bad and the way you get capped suck.. While offline mode only gives you metal, wood and food and here you got a cap thats hit in 4-5 hours top is just broken

I think Wingnut601's idea is on the right track. Even if it required a perk selection, I think setting your foremen to production boosting instead of crafting would be excellent, even if there was some sort of associated cooldown for switching between modes. Even without such an option, this is an excellent game.

make hotkeys for the game pls, like G to gather, C to chop, R to research, M to mine, T to check traps and B to build.

To people having trouble with starting or saving the game: Your browser is probably configured to block external site data. You need to add an exception for "trimps.github.io", which is where the game code lives.
In Chrome, you can do this in the "Content Settings" box which lives in the "Privacy" section of the settings page.

Thanks Dev. I've been doing the export thing. I'm not lazy, haha so it's not too big of a deal. All it took was one restart to start exporting. But I test out the auto-save every day with my export as a failsafe. Great game!

If you can, make random boss encounters that drop mats (Enhancement Gems) that you can use to increase the effectiveness of weapons and armor.

Whats the deal with this auto save? It keeps saying auto save, then When i open the game the next day i have to start from the beginning all over again. What is this game actually saving?
I'm really not sure why so many people are having trouble saving. I've never once had it disappear from my computer! I am looking in to some new solutions for saves, including a service that lets you login and save over the interwebs, as well as some tools to make it easier to save and load a file to the hard drive (as an option, local save will still be available). For now, if it's not saving and loading, try and remember to back up your export file. I realize "back up your export file" is not an appropriate long term solution and I'm trying to figure out other options.

Great game. 2 suggestions for future. 1)An option to turn off the hover-over informational box. 2)A countdown till next unit timer in the hover box.

Great idle game, Dev. I'm not sure what you have planned for Science, but if I may make a suggestion (In case something doesn't pop up in levels 30+ that is already implemented yet, I'm still in the low 20's): How about large research projects that add larger than average bonuses unlocked every 5-10 late-game zones? They could take Science-per-second to complete and fill up gradually. If the science per second required is greater than what you currently have, it'll drain from the science you've gathered so far, giving a great way to get rid of these piles of points laying around without having to just raise the cost of upgrades.

You aren't increasing the difficulty, you are reducing the maximum difficulty.

Again Great game here! Can I suggest development of a "sell" feature for equipment and buildings that is similar in function to the "fire" for your trimps workers? Buildings may be difficult as you would have to "auto fire" if the levels dropped too low or remind via the omnipresent tool tips.

I honestly feel like expanding my capacity consumes more resources than anything else. I get that you need a limiter so you don't have an unlimited capacity, but at the same time, you can just make expanded capacity a researchable thing and gate it by worlds, vs. spending half to get to be able to buy new upgrades. Awesome game, just a nitpick for me.

@ prong. You are reducing the map difficulty with fragments. You can increase loot and size and decrease difficulty with fragments.

In the new mapping system, its not clear to me why increasing the difficulty should also increase the number of map fragments needed? Is there any reason why one would want to increase the difficulty factor rating? (if anything I should think it should reduce the number of fragment needed).

I keep losing my save. Two machines, two browsers, always my saves are gone when I reload the game, and it only happens with this one. Is it constant updates invalidating them? Is the moon in the wrong phase? Is the disk space precisely where this save is stored corrupted? Who knows. It's a mystery.
Nice to have the save string as a backup though.

What would happen to the housing space if we respec trumps percs after conquering few squares with additional spaces? do we loose them or do we keep them?

i think u just forget to implement the 'blockmaster'-upgrade more than once... that's why the gym becomes kinda useless after a while. beside that... i think it's balanced quiet interesting. thank u for that game!

developer i feel like we need a little animation of a trimp fighting against animations of enimes thatd be so amazing and you can start out with just a trimp group in armor wield weapons i wana see what theyd look like

How about the ability to toggle Foremen between Traps/Building Boost and Job Boost. But make the Job Boost something reasonable like 5% per Foreman so you wouldn't hit 100% until 20 Foremen. Then you can just Toggle between Traps/Build and Job for all them.

It feels like resource production and ESPECIALLY dropped loot are just insignificant, from zone 15+, even with several resets and levels into the perks.
