The scaling of purchase prices after car 6 starts getting to be too large. also, there doesnt appear to be any significant gain during offline times. Please make some balance changes! I loved SwarmSim....

the feels when the game tells you that you get your next car in 1350 years... my grand grand grand kids will be so happy about that!

Yeah that is basically what I said in my original comment to Karuku. I just said that there was zero point so I wanted to clarify there is a tiny point. Just not one worth investing in teams for.

From 72 trillion years to 2.8 million years in a 1.5 day, car 10 looks like it is possible to reach in maybe another 3 days.

@Orikx: even for game progress, the teams really don't make sense. Spending the fame elsewhere would be more cost effective and contribute more towards getting to the end game (assuming it is even reasonably possible to get there), where we can always buy the teams at that point to complete the game progress. Esp since not buying the team does not appear to block progress in anyway.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Quick amendment to my last comment. There are achievements tied to teams so there is a reason. Just not a reason if your concern is actually progressing through the game. Before you ask yes, I have lots of fame invested in teams just for achievement points but I realize they aren't doing anything of value. I have over 1.8B Amateur Team members. The amount they produce overnight is a drop in the bucket compared to a few clicks of Race.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Karuku - I don't think you understand how math works. It doesn't matter how many you buy. Every one you buy takes 1 MILLION seconds to pay for it's self. At a cost of 1Mil and they produce 1 fame/s. That is 11.5(rounded down) days for each one you purchase to pay for it's self. So you see zero return on your investment until after 11.5 days.
If you buy 1 or 1000 at this exact moment it takes 11.5 days to earn your fame back.
If that was the only thing to consider then yes they would be worth it to buy. But every fame spent there is less fame you spend upgrading that has a HUGE impact on how much Fame you can produce. So you are FAR better off never buying any teams and just using every bit of fame purchasing upgrades that make it so you produce even more fame with each click. Unless you just absolutely plan to never click the Race button there is zero reason to spend fame on teams.

Developer: Swarm sim was strangely addictive. However, while you've taken a few good ideas from there to make this new thing, its pretty clear that you havent given much thought to game balance at all. Half the comments below involve people rage quitting due to the game slowing too much after car six, and the uselessness of teams. Why not let us know that youre going to balance these issues shortly, so the rest of us dont join in with the rage-quit crowd?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Putting anything about balancing issues aside, I can claim this game has high potential to be much better game. + i would love to see a better, shorter achievement screen, maybe in a form of icons or sth

Came to a point where playing legit is not giving you any progress anymore. Will leave this running to check every day, hoping it will get an update soon.

Really think you messed up on your idea for how teams work, they should get all the multipliers that you get by updated cars and race, as it stands they make zero sense to use at all. Now if they got all the multipliers I've already applied, then they'd make tremendous value.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Same here. Lost all progress this morning (20 Sep) - no point in playing the game if it has no way to prestiege / make things faster with resets, and if it's not going to keep progress so you have to randomly restart whenever the game feels like it.

I can hardly see fit to call this an idle game when the spam clicking of the race button is so incredibly mandatory to progression.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Senretsu: Whoops, missed a zero. Still, adds up over time, especially since one invests months into an idle game--Or at least, the ones I've played take at minimum, months to play. Otherwise, it's not really an idle game.

Game is unpalyable without an auto-clicker... as a matter of fact, the dav himself suggested one. Ergo: that functionality ought to be added to the game, rather than a GreaseMonkey-script. Doing so will also free some space; the race-button currently eats about 30% of the screen).
I am still at a loss what my points do (or will do at a later time).
There seems hardly any reason to upgrade any other car then the current best one, since even with over 20 levels of difference, the new one will top it no problem.
Waiting time for enough fame to buy something new is (even WITH an autoclicker) too long. Racing-teams are pointless (since price/profit is totally off).
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Senretsu: Yeah, if you only buy one. As you continue to play the game, it adds up, and the cost of the teams doesn't rise. Eventually, every second you can afford to buy another one, then another one. I'm not saying teams don't need improvement, I just don't think they deserve all this hate. Anyway, at 1Sx/second, every 100 seconds I can purchase another unit. Overnight, that's 288 more (I began with 917), ~117% what I began with, which is great progress since it's an idle game--I don't expect to speedrun it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
@Karuku no matter how you look at it.. It takes one MILLION seconds for your teams to make ANY profit at all. People who bought teams on the day of this game's RELEASE will start seeing a 1 Fame profit tomorrow. There is nothing to defend about that. It's garbage and never worth buying.

I've noticed that a lot of players criticize the poor reward ratio to the acquisition of fame using teams, but to their credit, teams do not have an inflating cost. Since inflation isn't a factor (in their purchase) requiring many, many, many purchases of them curtails players from spiraling wildly out of control, quite quickly, with fame gain.

Day 8. I have 4 Linnen 366X's, 103 million years til the next car, but I remain hopeful. I haven't cheated, haven't used an auto-clicker (but I may have begun getting carpel tunnel). Realized despite the popular view that teams seem incredibly lame, they do in time make themselves useful. Getting 232qi/s fame right now, and my highest grade team costs 1sp and produces 1.15qa each (I guess). The only problem I see with them, is that each tier is 'left behind' in utility as you hit the next exponent, and there's no way to drag that progress forward with you as you do with tiered resources. Perhaps using cars as a commodity that can be sold to 'level up' your racing teams and bring their resources to a modest level of contribution (even 20% of current rate would be significant enough to feel worthwhile) would improve the feel and function of teams without breaking the game.

I would like to know the planet that can hold more mechanics than atoms has the solar system. The "auto race" is nice, but I can only be idle 2 minutes while having something pressing enter before it stops. Still better than click.

Game gets pretty much unplayable around the time you can purchase MBW 3M. You can get there, but not much further other than some initial boosts from that vehicle purchase. That purchase is very difficult, and after that it's pretty close to impossible. Just a head's up in case the Dev still cares about this game.

Two stars, mostly because 1. It's a blatant copy of Swarm Sim. 2. Because there's a lack of content and upgrades to the system that make it hard to advanced through certain view points. Credit Swarm Sim and update this game and I'll rate better. C:

Make the racing multiplier apply to team fame generation. I think that will go a good way to fixing this game. Upvote if you agree!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Making the race automatic and adding upgrades to boost acceleration of the car like Motor/ Transmission upgrades, that would increase the speed at which races auto-finish, with different tier races unlocked with different cars for more fame/ faster fame gain for better races.

This game is unbalanced? Hellova sure.
But I think this generation of gamers are "fast games", who want to earn rewards in a couple of minutes instead of spending some time to deserve them.
Just play the game a few minutes and come back another day. It won't hurt. Life's about patience, and you need that too in video games.

Good game but takes so long to progress at MBW 3M, at first the average time to get it was 1,7 Billion years :D now after 2 days its ONLY 903k years. Needs prestige system or something.

I don't get why this game and swarmsim are so laggy. Maybe a github thing? Anyway quite boring after a while and way less fun than swarmsim.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It appears the Dev had a good start, but then abandoned the game. It's too bad. It had the potential to be a pretty good Swarm Sim alt.
