Feels inspired by Bill Wurtz. Dunno if that's at all accurate, but it feels about as strange and silly as his music+animations.

Clearly the first time he broke through the ceiling, he went into a delusional coma. It explains everything: The psychic powers, the constant resets, the availability of household rockets, the guys willing to pay many orders of magnitude more than the total economic output of the world for some building scraps...

Oh,so that's how you can get money quikcly?
I'm gonna bump my head on some skyscrappers to see if I can get some money!

The ability to turn off earthquake effects & particle effects would be a big help with the probs I mentioned in my previous comments. The game is pretty poorly optimized overall, and that would help people run the game on lower end machines & also help with the motion sickness some people are talking about.

https://imgur.com/Xcpb2m3 BUG: If the game is experiencing less than its target max framerate, it will sometimes reward 0 EXP for short jump durations. (It's happening more in this GIF than it usually does, because running screen capture software is dropping the game's framerate, increasing the frequency) I didn't encounter this until floor 22+, for whatever reason.

Game reverted to an old save even after a manual save. I can't be bothered to replay 2 days of my life wasted on this.

It seems like if you rapidly rebirth many times in a row, without letting the "floor break" particles fully dissipate before moving on to the next life, those particles reset/carry over to the next life. After doing this 10+ times in a row, the game gets EXTREMELY laggy: https://i.imgur.com/neUaMlu.png (with my current stats, to encounter this I respawn and insta-hit ceiling 5, then buy 2 fury and insta-hit ceiling 12, then rebirth and repeat. it's fast enough that the particles persist.)

your replys about fixing toughness all talked about moving invincible down to floor 10, and that helps a lil but it doesnt even start to fix the inequality between toughness and velocity

i would like to meet the guys who make floor slabs capable of withstanding a person impacting at several million times the speed of light.

The Quicker Ticker upgrade inexplicably provides a massive boost to total damage dealt. Also severely reduces air time and thus has anti-synergy with both Big Air and xp gain in general. The inexplicable boost to total damage makes up for both, probably, but it's still bizarre and feels kinda lame.

Arbitrary soft cap at l20 makes for an unintuitive change in gameplay and progression. A more gradual scaling or a new unlock be it a mechanic or upgrade to go beyond the wall might be more interesting/easier on the easing into the harder/grindier part. Would require harder balancing but that is the bane of idle game programming.
Concept is catchy somehow, simple but fun. Interesting to see where it will go. Keeping my eye/tab on this game. GJ!

edit to last: please double-check that the indestructible upgrade is working. bought 4 levels, didnt seem to have an effect, or made things worse.

last update seems to have nerfed toughness pretty hard. prior i was able to crack floor 21 in reasonable time, now im having problems cracking floors above 16.

I am stuck at 22. first 8 psi abilities are at about lvl10. only usefull multiplier are sharp legs and chronometer superheater, and both are to expensive.
some clues?
do I miss something?

This is one of the better idle games I've played, and could have real staying power with some updates to add content, improve longevity and smooth out the end game. After floor 20, progress grinds to a halt for me.

As pointed by another comment, its a mystery to the player which upgrade he should buy when we don't understand how velocity and damage works, there should be more numbers in stats. Also you probably know this but theres a huge ceiling to get to 25th floor even with these new upgrades, toughness is still a big ceiling. Even after farming thousands of PSI I dont see much progress either.
'huge ceiling' heheh
No, but really, I'm working on making progression a bit smoother. As for how velocity and damage work... I'll be adding more visible calculations later, but, it's fairly obvious? Each upgrade tells you exactly what it does. There's nothing secret happening other than I guess gravity, which isn't specifically mentioned, but, y'know. Kind of apparent.
Hi, I notice that your jump time is listed as 'a long time', meaning you haven't landed on the ground in over a day. This is the cause. You know how you gain experience every time you land...? If your jump isn't ending naturally at any point you can just abort so that you hit the ground.

ok endless psi is not letting me get any exp until i use all toughness. is this how it is supposed to be? taking me almost 5 mins to get any exp
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
since the updates i have gotten an extra levels but it takes a lot longer to get to lvl 18. also i have noticed i havent gotten any exp and its at ceiling 14. am i doing something wrong.

I like the game well enough, but I wouldn't mind a much numberier block of statistics. How does velocity effect damage? How much of my initial velocity is from Muscularity? What percentage of damage is PSI crush providing? How many points of toughness do I actually have, so I know how much Aliveman to get? More math means more optimization, which is one of the few things there is to *do* in an idle!

really nice game but you should add buttons that remembers that you want to buy x10 (because it's irritating to hold shift the whole game) (and it would also be nice that there is a button for each kind off shop (so that the workout time menu button doesn'y affect the freakout time menu) (and i think that auto jump so soon is cheated it would be nice to add it after completing floor 1 (but then it's also better to add a space = jump mechanic because other wise it would be more frustrating )

I got to the Floor 10 toughness bonus and it's not enough. The problem is not with toughness itself, but with the lack of reason to raise velocity. We get a plenty of option to increase velocity, but they are useless - we are capped by toughness. No reason to ever allocate points in Critical Spark or to spend money on Hire Men (those are actually lowering earnings per minute), because you never get below 90% velocity before running out of toughness.

So much for the manual saves working still... if it helps any, I got this error:
"An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
InvalidStateError: A mutation operation was attempted on a database that did not allow mutations."

Anyone else see the euphemism to life? You break through one ceiling just to be stuck trying to break through another LMAO! He go up like this and and so on forever!
