@prohazka, it scales off your toughness. It just scales poorly without Indestructible and a LOT of Spite. With aliveman at level 6, I need at least 1201 Toughness to get the full 120% damage boost. I don't have enough indestructible or spite to get there yet, and even if I did, it wouldn't help much on the 23rd ceiling. Not sure how we're meant to go much farther than 20, the damage/toughness for the amount of PSI we get just can't keep up. And the PSI upgrades get so hard to get any meaningful boost from that I can only manage to get .08% damage per jump from the 22nd ceiling.
Currently, post-20 is (sadly) essentially post-content. While there are still a few things to do, the main portion of content is unfinished and will be added after I fix a few remaining bugs and issues. I'm quite impressed so many people are already there! But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Thank you for your interest!

@MikalSerity: you don't take quicker ticker with a big air build. Big air bonus = air time in seconds x .25(# of sparks in big air)

Exactly how does the Big Air bonus help? If you loose your toughness you then get the boost of damage? Does the quicker ticker detract from this bonus, as it reduces the time per jump? It seems that it doesn't help much, if at all, from my limited experience so far.
Hi, I'm aware that some people are not having their data saved. At the moment i'm unable to replicate it or find a specific cause, other than it seems to be exclusive to firefox users. I'll be implementing a manual export and import save in the future which should work regardless of browser, and I will also be trying to find a way to ensure the in-browser save works for everyone, if possible. I'm sorry that you were affected by this!

I think you are probably experiencing this because higher ceilings do more damage, and taking more damage will make Aliveman scale up faster. However, if you find a reason that this might not be the case, please let me know.
Hi there. I don't think this is correct - I tested it just now in browser and in my development build and in both cases it seems to work as I'd expect it to. Can you be more specific in what you're seeing in the game that indicates it isn't working properly?

Again, if you're having trouble progressing, your velocity is too low. You balance toughness and velocity until you get stuck, then jack up velocity until your velocity stays at 100% through entire jump. If you're wondering how to do that, remember each level of "hire man" doubles your velocity and only marginally increases time between jumps. Every upgrade in that will significantly increase your damage/second, let alone damage/jump. It doesn't matter if you only get a few ticks if each is doing trillions of damage, for example.

Issue: More than ten thousand jumps, the first two tiers of PSI are level 7, and I'm still only doing 0.1% damage to the 13th ceiling because I am as tough as wet toilet paper. Not fun.

How are these ceilings so durable that you can't break through them instantly at ESCAPE VELOCITY? We need to get in touch with whoever designed this building.
Hi there. I definitely believe you but I cannot replicate this issue. Your game autosaves fine, but if you manually save, and reload the game, your data is gone? Is that correct? Is there anything else you can tell me, for example what browser and addons you are using? Or anything specific you've done in the game? Any hard resets/manual loading?

For everyone complaining about toughness: toughness' main use is to build rage. Since velocity = damage, having a relatively high toughness basically means you're intentionally limiting your velocity (and thus progress). Just keep toughness high enough to get some rage upgrades. Once you're stuck, then buy all your hire men upgrades.

Pretty good, but seriously needs more options for boosting the toughness other than spite. I mean, basically 75% of upgrades are for velocity, which never even goes lower than 100% where I'm at, while the toughness is wiped out within a second.
Hopefully having Indestructible moved down to a floor 10 unlock will help with this. More toughness upgrades will also come out, within an update or two from now.

@WavWolve The Workout tab is already pretty useless. If you have PSI Chemistry and Mind over Body high enough, you don't really need much besides smooth legs to make the workout tab pretty useless. It sucks that not having enough toughness makes Quicker Ticker pretty bad.

Ok I am confused. 10 jumps in I hit the top and freeze and nothing seems to move me from there. Based on comment it is clearly just me missing something!

I think a lot of people dont understand that there is no need for a high toughness, because your dmg scales with your velocity. It's needed to have "short" jumps to also keep earning exp. If you would buff toughness, then your main source of income would only be anger, what would make the "workout time" tab kinda useless.

It would be nice if i could boost my toughness in more ways than only by spite. My velocity is everytime around 99% when my toghness gets to 0.

it seems to me that manimation doesn't work... when I've got 4 levels it should take 1/625 of the time, but it still takes ages to throw me up

nice game. i like it alot. More toughness would be great. maybe you can do something in it where you can aktive idle: like clicking in the right moment to do more damage/toughness ... that would be great

There's really no reason to have to click achievements to unlock their corresponding picture. Why not make this happen automatically upon reaching the required milestone? Also, like others said, Toughness can't keep up with the rest of the upgrades. Why not change Spites effect to a multiplicative 5% toughness increase? I think that would help out a little with relatively high cost without making it too broken.

Good game but only downside is that the exp menu falls behind quickly. With how long it takes to hit the ceiling you increase anger faster then exp.

smooth legs is pretty useless. I bought it and my damage didn't go up, i still die in less than 1 second, and my velocity is still 99% when ending a jump. So what does it actually do?

Oh no a celing! I can't jump high with this ceiling in the way! What should I do? How about try to break concrete with my HEAD
