My suggestion for the next game:
Make four unique bosses, one for each direction you can move away from the start. That way, there's a reason to move away other than better enemies.

Nice update to the game. Having the same color for player and enemy bullets/mines is a problem (esp for mines).
Also, I upgraded to the Leech Thing and couldn't get squat with it. It would be nice if after a downgrade, you could re-pick your upgrade. I had to restart after flailing futilely for a half hour.

Oh, also, once I turned the music off I couldn't turn it back on. Ever. I like this game, but man, there needs to be waaaay more bug testing on it before it should have launched.

The BFT is slow, yes. But if you're not completely dumb, you'll realize that clearing a given bubble is as simple as pointing your turrets wherever your autocannons fire while moving straight through to the other side.
Especially when you have the 4 seekers, this is arguably just as fast per bubble as dodging in and out as a fighter.

Surprisingly fun - much more so than BT1. I'm not sure if I can explain why, though all the changes between games seem to have been positive.

and didnt get one of the badges

Ummm, I discovered a pretty bad bug with this...when I have the BFT, certain enemy attacks will automatically set my cannons to a lower level, while I still retain the same form and have more than enough bubbles to keep my BFT status. so basically I get the snot beat out of me with my little wimpy cannon. What gives?

"Redundant" isn't quite the word, Spudder. You're thinking of "repetitive".
The word "redundant" is used more commonly when regarding language or engineering...
Now you know (and knowing is half the battle).
