I have not experienced a full reset, so this advice might not work for everyone: but I find when my income doesn't update properly (after being offline for hours), refreshing the page forces the game to update its values. In other words, I load the game, see the numbers aren't right, refresh the web page, and the numbers go to what they should be. Hope that works for others. Also, periodically exporting your current data to a wordpad document might not be a bad idea. I do it once per day.

Just a warning about the kreds upgrade, had 20 sitting around and the x3 bonus is additive not multiplicative. So the second 10 kreds will only get you x2, not the x3 it states.

What about a minigame that help you get some bonus or extra cash while waiting to achieve the amount of money to buy an upgrade or business

I like that you've made it so that the game runs even when you don't have it open. There is a problem (at least in Chrome), where if you open the game in a tab and switch tabs during that short window where it does the "catching up" since the last time you played, you don't get any of the money you otherwise would have.

Since it is easier to get oil companies than other things, I think it would be nice if we had more achievements (like 1000, 1100, 1200 milestones).

About upgrades, how about making it something like this: After buying the Little Umbrellas upgrade, it changes to Novelty Straws and so on? It not only keeps the list short, it's easy to max out the upgrades for an industry when one has gone far in the game.

offline mode broke again! When I went to sleep I had 3 duodecillion, in the morning i just had 22 duodecillion and its weird considering i can get 100 duodecillion in 2 hours or so.

I like how the new achievements make different businesses the most important at different points in the game. In the beginning, oil rigs are all that matter. Once you get enough investors, lemonade stands become really important for a bit. Where I am at now (~400 Quadrillion AI) the bank is my highest earner. Keeps it interesting.

Priority right now has got to be anti-idle features. Progress slows way down to the point where there's nothing to do for full days.

More of the same achievements and upgrades is very boring. I can predict what will happen next: 1000 achievement, 1100 achievement, 1200 achievement, etc. Instead, add new content, do not update old content. Make minigames like actual fishing on the shrimpboat, have different currency for them, add events like stock market crash, be able to enter your house and upgrade it, let us specialize in a skill tree that uses another resource (perhaps from minigames), skill trees could be something like: marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, and supply chain management. Just a few ideas, keep up the good work!

I hit a wall going from the 700's to the 800's. I have 37 quadrillion investors, and I'm only making around 2 duodecillion every 8 seconds. To go from 750 to 760 newspapers it costs 856 duodecillion. That's just too long to have to wait.

Looking forward to the update. While I'd like to see more new features/upgrades, I sincerely hope your code overhaul makes the experience more stable for more people, even if no new actual content gets added. Quality should come first, right? :)

I've made so much money on this game! It's been great! Even after my friends and family staged an intervention and broke the news to me that it's not real money. Of course, I had to return all the things I'd gone out and bought, had to go to rehab for something called "Capitalist Addiction", and all this after my wife left me because I kept yelling at the computer "DANG YOU NEWSPAPERS!"
So, my addiction "cure" didn't take and I've come to embrace my addiction. So what? I'm too addicted to getting ALL the achievements.
(loving this game and the devs... well... keep it up!!!!)

I'd love to see a separate tab added for Angel Upgrades, scrolling through dozens of cash upgrades to find them is becoming a bit difficult.

Sigh, offline mode failed again last night. It works fine in small batches -- If you come back to the game 2 or 3 hours later, but if you come back after 10, it doesn't give you the tredecillions you are owed. I am at the 800 newspaper level(well should have been back over 800 this morning -- 796 presently)..

Ignore my previous comment. Just saw the dev is aware of my issue and has already started on, put forth a fix. I'll try to reset my cache and such and see if that fixes my little problem. :)

@Toadgosplat once you have a lot of angels its worth. For instance the first x3 one, if I have 20,000 angels I'm halving my profits to get a x3 bonus, so it works out better. Eventually those first few upgrades become a rop in the bucket, great for getting a quick start.

I've been having a bit of a bug. Previously whenever I left the game and came back, money had built up. Over the last week or so, I've had periods of time where I'd leave for 8-10 hours and have the same exact amount I had when I left. Don't know if this is intended, but I doubt it. PS. This usually only happens once I get all purchases over 800 with all upgrades, so I have a pretty massive income. That may have something to do with it.

my electricity was gone and I lost all progress, is there any way to get it back or protect your data? Some help would be appreciate considerign the devs failed to respond for over a week now

The upgrade menu is getting.... kind of hard to navigate with so many upgrades. Could you maybe change it so that there is one button for each kind of earner, and it switches to the next upgrade once you buy one? :)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Wheres the environmentally friendly button that halves profits? Or the Government interference button that halts business altogether until you fill out the proper paperwork? (heavy cynicism included) And where is my secretary? I don't need to ACTUALLY push this button when I can pay somebody else to push it for me.

An idea for the counter bars - once they are so full that they don't move anymore, the bars stay solid green and then a new color starts on top of them that when it fills it shows that you've collected 100 profits. And then repeat that a few times. I'd aim for getting the lemonade stand to have the fills 4x a second at max level just so there are still lots of moving parts.
Just my 2cents. Love that game.

I'm looking forward to version 1.4/2.0/whatever coming out later today, but reading an earlier comment made me wonder: could you add the stats as text over the progress bar? That way towards the endgame when the earlier businesses are earning faster than the frame refresh rate, users still get a sense of improvement through the numbers.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The counter is not pointless. First, it gives you a great sense of acomplishment to see those bars that took minutes to even appear to move suddenly getting faster and faster. Second, it is the only thing that moves in the game! It is substantial part of its design!

Hi! First, i love this game. Now, i don't know if this was already suggested,i'm too lazy to check all the comments, but here's my idea:
I don't find it very logical that one manager, somehow, manage 1000 oil Company (Or any of the other units, btw). So i tought, make us manage the managers by modifying their efficiency based on the numbers of units they manage. Exemple: If i buy one manager for ten lemonade stands, it would work with 100% efficiency but if i continue to buy too much lemonade stands, like another 10, it would decrease to (idk don't know how to make this equillibrate) 90% efficiency. If i buy 60 lemonade stands for one manager it would go to 50% efficiency. Well you get the idea.
This way it would make us think of what we buy and when we buy it, and not just buy when we have enough to buy.
Hope you like the idea and thank you for this cool game, the intense following of our comments by your team and for not upgrading this game once a year like a lot of others do.

Hate to say it, but I'm getting pretty bored with this game now. I can either reset now for a 20% increase in angels, which means I'll be able to actually interact with the game again instead of waiting 20 minutes to buy a single newspaper or oil. But then within an hour I'll end up in the same position of gameplay with lesser gains to AI. The best thing for the long game is for me to wait another 2-3 days and then reset. The game's just too slow now and I'd like to think I'm not the only that feels this way :/ I think getting the "micro-management" or anti-idle feature should be the top priority and it should have a substantial effect on gains as well.
